Whether you like rock bands or brass bands, opera or jazz there'll be something on. You can even go dancing on their R&R/Jive nights! Lazy weekend afternoons can be spent listening to the bands from the pit or, if you're a cheapskate, stand around the railings at the top and listen for free. No concert costs more than £10 though with most just a couple of pounds. There is a licensed bar available in the evenings. A great, friendly pub with a good restaurant (lots of fish straight off the trawlers on Bexhill and Hastings seafronts) I've been going here man and boy since 1990. The beer is always well conditioned and regular's are Harveys, Bombadier and other top ales. Landlady Mindy does front of house and her husband Shaun is the chef -you're always guaranteed a warm welcome. Oh and if you spot my Dad, John tell him dinner's on the table, he's the bald chap nursing a pint of Harveys.

One of our last nights in London we stopped into The Bloomsbury Club…read more After being seated at the covered outdoor bar, the service was spectacular and I ordered (and enjoyed) a Dingle gin (just having been to Ireland and had a Dingle gin flavored ice cream that I loved) with a pineapple juice mixer and the honey ordered a mango fizz (which he adored). During our visit the musician Colin Andrew played/sang and he was amazing. With notes of Paolo Nutini, he really added to the overall vibe and made the night a hit. All in all I can't speak highly enough about The Bloomsbury Club drinks and vibe and would absolutely return in a second!
