The parking lot is super clean with ample parking locations in case you don't need gas. Upon walking in the location is Ty clean as well. I had to visit the restroom and was surprised when I walked in and it was spotless. I'm talking true TLC. The floors, stalls, and sink area were clean and there wasn't the lingering smell of "rest stop restroom" odor. Lastly, I decided on McDonalds for my food break. Walking over from the store side I was able to see Subway, which was also super clean. This McDonalds offers the kiosk which connect to your McDonalds app, so if you're like me and love the app, you can place your order and just head in for pick up. The staff was very nice and welcoming. My order didn't take long and everything in the bag was fresh... If you know me, you know my undying love for Sweet Tea and this brew did not fail me. Perfectly sweet and Perfectly Fresh. This stop was a Win, Win, Win! Great Gas Prices. Clean Restrooms. And, Fresh Food!!! You can't go wrong with those!

As far as Love's stations go it's pretty standard, generally the bathrooms are kept in decent condition, it's not a huge store so it might not have the same selection as some larger stations but it should still have at least a little of pretty much anything you need. Getting in or out can be a little traffic heavy sometimes but overall it's a pretty well run and convenient station. One of your better options if you're in the area and need to make a stop.

They are perfect to eat and they are hard to find, so when I find, I eat. They also sell fried chicken livers. chicken tenders, fried chicken breast sandwiches, bis quits, desserts and sides of mashed potatoes, okra and mac n cheese. On July 15, 2025, I stopped at this Pilot location as a domestic violence survivor traveling with…read moremy three small children. We needed to shower and regroup. It took nearly three hours -- because I have toddlers with natural Black hair, and I had to carefully wash their bodies, brush teeth, and keep them from touching the dirty floors. I did everything alone, as any protective mother would. As we exited the shower, two large, unleashed pit bulls charged us in the parking lot. My children screamed in fear. I was holding one baby and shielding the others while yelling and praying for help. Staff witnessed the entire incident and did absolutely nothing. The owners of the dogs were four white individuals -- only one of them halfheartedly attempted to wrangle the dogs. The others stood by, smirking, and waited until I had all my children back inside the car. Then they began using racial slurs, trying to provoke and intimidate me. Not one employee checked on us. Not one person offered help. No police were called. No concern was shown for my terrified babies. I reported this to Pilot Corporate on July 18th. Weeks passed in silence. Today, I finally got an email -- and instead of concern or accountability, they told me I would need a subpoena just to view the surveillance footage that could show my children being attacked. That is not just inhumane -- that is evidence tampering, plain and simple. If we had been white, there would have been apologies, EMTs, cameras, and comfort. But because we are Black -- nothing. I carry this trauma alone. My children still talk about the dogs. I still relive it every time we stop somewhere new. But by the grace of the Most High, we are still here. We were protected. And I will never stop speaking the truth. Pilot Flying J: your location is unsafe. Your silence is violent. Your response is unacceptable. And justice will be served.

Both visits saw so many other folks coming and going due to the holidays, but the team seemed to be so patient and made checking out a breeze. I was really impressed with how clean the store was on both visits, especially the bathrooms. That was probably one of the cleanest gas station bathrooms that I've seen in a min! Because this location has always been clean with an easy on/off from I-26 and best of all, they provide a fenced-in dog park! With real grass. That is kept picked up and such a safe place to give our puppers some moving room. We travel this route about 7 times a year and the last few years we plan to stop here on each leg of the trip. There are two small food option restaurants attached to the station, a Chester's fried chicken place (with so-so looking chicken) and a Godfather's Pizza Express. Appears the Petro's Chili & Chips closed. I didn't try the chicken since it didn't look very good. The Godfather's personal pan sized pizzas, which are fairly small, are pretty good, even if the ones with more than basic toppings are slightly overpriced. The "supreme" pizza was a bit underwhelming to be honest, mostly sauce, cheese and black olives. Basic pizzas run just under $6 while the extra toppings versions closer to $8. An okay small meal if you don't feel like driving to better places.
