We hired him for our block party a few weeks ago and the entire neighborhood agreed, he's the best! Chuck arrived an hour and a half early to get set up in our driveway and his equipment is top-of-line. Chuck is well versed in all styles of music and the selections he added to our suggested play-list were perfect. He clearly knows what he's doing and he should. He's been doing this for 27 years. He can be as vocal or held back as you want him to be, but whenever he made an announcement or a dedication Chuck was obviously a professional. Chuck is amazing!!! Last weekend Chuck/All Occasions helped us celebrate our daughters wedding. On the initial meeting with Chuck he assured me we did not need a wedding coordinator as he has been the master of ceremonies for hundreds of weddings. True to his word he miked the officiant, he coordinated the music for the wedding, instructed us all when to walk down the aisle at what point in the music, played music throughout the cocktail hour and got all the guests into the reception right on time. The reception was flawless due to Chuck! He coordinated all the speeches, special dances and didn't just announce the table numbers but personally walked to each table and invited them to the buffet. The dancing oh the dancing!!! Chuck kept the party going all night, he can take all requests which was great fun for all the guests. Chuck with All Occasion DJs is a FANTASTIC DJ! We hired Chuck for our wedding reception only (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) and he had the dance floor packed the whole night. We found Chuck on thumbtack as we were on a budget and he was fantastic! We met two times in person, the first time for the initial booking and the second for the confirmation of music and order of events. He took all of our song requests, triple checked that he had the correct song versions for the "special songs" (ie first dance, father/daughter, mother/son, etc..). He also took song requests that night during the reception from our guests. He also provided uplighting for the entire reception venue. Chuck also helped us create a reception timeline and ensured he had the correct pronunciation of our bridal party. 10/10 would hire Chuck and All Occasion DJ's again for any future DJ needs. read more

What a great time these guys provided at a recent party I attended. My friend hired them for a birthday party for her dad, a poolside casual fun thing, and the music really stepped it up to an EVENT! Not only do they have a massive selection of music, but they have a great feel for the mood of the party, and what's appropriate during various parts of the evening. Enda was our DJ, and she did a great job with knowing what to play and when. I don't know how much of it was request, which I understand they do, but the mix and variety of the music was just terrific. A Good DJ service makes it hard to leave a party, because just when you're ready to go, another great song comes on and you just wanna get back on the dance floor. They had something for everyone, a few curveballs ("wow, I haven't heard that song in forever!") and just overall a perfect flow. I understand their name used to be audio concepts, so don't get confused about their website. Their equipment is first rate, and the sound quality reflects it. They also do karaoke (my friend didn't have them do that, at least while I was there). They have all of the equipment so that you can have a slide show, and all you have to do is supply the disc. And this is cool - they have a generator, so that if you don't have a power supply, you could even have music out in a field somewhere! They really do have it all, and I can't wait to have a party because all I'll need is some food and their phone number. Highly recommend this company, they're great. read more

Besides our venue, we spent the most money on the DJ. My husband wanted to make sure our party went smoothly so we decided to splurge a little. My husband actually found out about All Occasion DJs through recommendation of a friend. It was the greatest lead we got!! Enda was an amazing DJ and was attentive to all of our song requests. I hired All Occasion Disc Jockeys for my wedding and they were wonderful. Chuck came to check on me while I was getting ready and he made me feel so comfortable, he answered all my questions and helped me stay calm. Our reception was so much fun, we had given him a list of songs we liked and some of our favorite artist. He used our suggestions along with some of his own and kept the night moving along. Chuck was the DJ at our wedding and he was great. Before the wedding he provided us with a list of songs and genres he had available to help us select our playlists. Chuck then went over the essentials with us, like the first dance, mother son dance, etc., so everything was ready and timed perfectly. Chuck brought two sets of equipment, so once the ceremony was done, the transition to the reception was seamless. I manage the Orangecrest Club Banquet Facility in Riverside and Chuck has DJ'd for us several times over the past few years. He is completely professional in that he has always been on time, brings his own equipment (including tablecloth!) and dresses and performs professionally. His equipment sounds great, no static in his speakers, no overwhelming bass and no "dead air". The lights he brings have been perfect for our venue. I don't know what the previous reviewer was referring to by saying his music was dated. When you hire a DJ, you need to discuss and choose the music you want played at your event. I would probably not use them again. We had them for our wedding and the main DJ was not available so he had his assistant come we found out at our meeting with him. When we met he expected that we knew exactly what we wanted and that we had planned it all out. I would think that they should send us a email telling us to come prepared with a list of songs for all the different dances we want for the wedding reception rather then putting us on the spot. The meeting with him was very awkward. The lady DJ that did the ceremony did good with music if that's all you want from them. She was not very motivational to get people up and moving. Some songs were played that you should cut off because they are like 6-8 minutes long she would just let them play completely through. People just walked off the dance floor. We had a good wedding but when people are not dancing they are not drinking and then they just go home. Lots of people had a good time but left early. read more

The absolute best. We hired Chuck for our wedding and it was the one of the best wedding decisions we made. He was so hilarious and played amazing music during the ceremony. One of my top favorite parts of the reception was when he had all the women go out on the dance floor and did a shout out to me and played Spice Girls "Wannabe" (which was my favorite song as a kid). Every single girl at my wedding was out on the dance floor and it was amazing. We had about 200 people at our wedding and he played such a fantastic range of music that everyone was out on the dance floor and stayed out on the dance floor until the night ends.
