There was no onboarding outreach, no policy review, and no discussion of whether my coverage was still appropriate or competitively priced. The only changes I observed were unexplained premium increases, without any proactive communication or servicing support. When I later contacted the agent through Allstate's website to request routine policy information--including prior policy details and costs--I clearly indicated email as my preferred method of communication. That preference was not respected. When a phone call eventually occurred, the interaction was frustrating and unproductive. Rather than addressing my coverage questions, the conversation became dismissive and confrontational, with my request for standard policy information being questioned instead of answered. I ended the call due to the tone of the interaction. I have been an Allstate customer since at least 2012, and given that long relationship, the lack of engagement, absence of any policy review, and unprofessional communication were especially disappointing. This experience did not reflect the level of customer care Allstate promotes. As a result, I am now seeking coverage outside of Allstate and feel compelled to share this experience so others can make informed decisions. This review reflects ongoing servicing issues--not claims handling or underwriting--and centers on a lack of proactive support, poor communication, and an unsatisfactory customer service experience with this agent. If you stumble upon Joseph Del Grosso I would move on to another agent.

I wanted to make sure this brand new car I bought was safe and insured before I drove it off the car dealership lot. I made sure the MAKE,MODEL/VIN number was correct when I talked to State Farm. Everything was okay on my end. Now, here comes the problem.........State Farm put my old address on all my bills. I had moved 6 months prior and gave State Farm my new address six months ago. Anyway, I never got the insurance bill for my new car and State Farm canceled my policy. I can not drive my new car without insurance. Hence, I can not drive my car to work. Without working, I can not afford this new car. However, I am sure State Farm will blame me even though I kept calling them over and over again to make sure everything was okay on their end. No matter what customers do...it is Always our fault. So, of course I should have had access to their computer banks and software. (sarcasm) Hey, if they can not make an address change in their computers, then leave it to the customers. Right? Well, my brand new car is sitting in the driveway with no insurance. I need to pay Uber 30 bucks to take me to work.
