A review has not been written recently, and I strongly feel one needs to. I'm not one for writing poor reviews, unless it is needed. My husband and I hired DJ Randy for our wedding. He always said the right things, reassured us that he would "take care of us" and that he was "there for us and anything we needed." We didn't expect anything more than what was promised and agreed upon. Initially, we were going to use him as just a DJ, but after touring venues, and meeting with him, he assured us that he wants to do more for us. During wedding preparations he no-showed while my husband and I set up lighting at the venue (something he promised to do and be there for), would never answer his phone or texts unless multiple were sent, and he no-showed when we set up a time to meet with the rental company he worked directly with (and ignored all of our phone calls). Even the rental company stated that he goes MIA and leaves customers hanging. Due to him not showing up to set up lights our guests had to eat dinner in the pitch black dark and only had lighting from the lights we bought ourselves and hung. We had high hopes for Randy and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to bash the guy, so I will leave what he didn't do at that.
Come day of the wedding: his promise to have 4 helpers there resulted in one guy and himself. He showed up, set up his DJ stuff, and left, leaving me, my bridesmaids, and my family to set up: tables, chairs, napkins, plates, silver wear, glass wear, and more! The last thing I wanted to do on my wedding was stop hair and makeup to make sure that the reception and ceremony were set up (something he was set to do). During the wedding he made rude comments to my dad on the mic during the father-daughter dance, made inappropriate comments on the mic when it came time to do the garter toss, and then asked all of our guests to put stuff away (all because he didn't have the help he said he would).
At the end of the day, my husband and I were very disappointed in his service. We reached out to his boss/owner, Dave, was reassured something would be done to help fix the problem, and nothing since then has happened. We have reached out to him two additional times and his promise to help is unforeseen. I wouldn't recommend "All in the detail" (more like lack of detail) to anyone expecting to get the services you pay for. read more
