We're new to the area and needed to find a place to get our dogs bathed. The people there are very friendly. The store has plenty of accessories such as pet food, treats, toys, leashes, cleaners, etc. They also have a self wash station where you can bring your pet and wash them in the stainless steel basin. You provide the labor and they provide the other resources. But we recently opted for the full service bath which includes trimming of hair and nails. Our dogs aren't the most adaptive to new environments, but they did like the treatment they received. You can even stay and watch them wash the dog if you like. They are a bit more expensive than we were used to in NJ for a bath. Their retail items are in line with the major stores. read more

We are new to the area and I took my 3.5 year old shih-tzu there to be groomed, without a recommendation from anyone. This is mainly a pet store, which is very well stocked and kept, however my dog has never had such a terrible haircut. I truly could have done better with a sharp pair of scissors and no training. read more

Most pet foods on the market are not good for your pet and may even be recalled if they were produced in China and contained harmful substances. All four paws offers natural high quality pet foods as well as treats, toys, and other accessories. Their prices are often better than those of the large chain stores and offer a good selection. If they do not currently carry something you are looking for, the friendly and knowledgeable staff will do their best to get it for you. read more

I *love* All Four Paws. One of my cats has allergies to just about everything under the sun, so I had a really hard time finding food for her at big box pet stores. My only other option had been an extremely expensive, bland prescription diet, and I was really eager to find an alternative. All Four Paws carries literally every brand of high-quality pet food. I mix and match canned food brands and flavors, since rotation helps with the allergies, and the variety I am able to get is fantastic. I also get my dry food there, and it is actually LESS expensive than the same item at Petco or Petsmart. It is very easy to place special orders when I need a large quantity. The staff really know their inventory and absolutely exemplify why locally-owned shops are so great. There's no reason to shop at a chain pet store; All Four Paws has them beat in selection, quality, and price. read more

While on an extended stay in the area we needed to have our shitzu groomed. I read all the reviews and felt this was the perfect option. I would have agreed with the reviews and the reason for my one star-friendly appointment contact, asked for shot records, able to make a convenient appointment within a couple of days, nice store with quality merchandise. I left my adorable shitzu needing a "little trim", nails clipped, and even agreed to teeth brushing in what I felt were capable hands. When I returned to pick her up I found a much different dog. Her face was cut short, nothing like the shitzu I left, and her coat was shaved to the skin on her belly and chest and twice as short as had been discussed at drop off. This was not a dog with a coat full of mats. If this wasn't enough, the fur on one front paw is longer than the other and likewise on her face. I wish I had just used my scissors and trimmed her myself as the product would have been better. I was asked at checkout if everything was good, all I could manage was "it's fine" to avoid a contentious argument over a situation that could not be fixed- not the type looking for a free service. I paid, minus a tip, and left. It will grow back, eventually, but this customer won't be. My advice is to pick another groomer or stay and supervise so you get what you ask for. BEYOND disappointed. read more

I took my rescue Yorkie mix to All Four Paws for grooming with Susie. Had taken him to another area groomer previously who insisted on using an electric trimmer by his face. He was frightened so she had me pick him up and told me not to bring him back unless he was medicated. I told Susie at All Four Paws of his fears and she immediately said she would never use an electric trimmer on a dogs face. She did a fantastic job. This is a great business. read more

If we could give negative stars, we would. We were mislead by the glowing reviews from Yelp and took our dogs to be groomed at All Four Paws. When we got there, instead of going through the shop front door, we went through the door that led to where the dogs were being held and groomed. There were at least 10 dogs held in by old fencing and gates. We hesitantly turned over our dogs and went to the front to check in. After only a few more minutes, we decided that taking our dogs to this place was a bad idea. We took them back and left. Fast forward 24 hours, and now our dogs have flees! They definitely got them from All Four Paws from the mere minutes they spent there! read more
