Had scheduled appointment time of 3pm - 7pm. Technician calls at 1:15 pm and says he's on the way to my home and will be there in 15 - 20 minutes. I told him I couldn't make it home before 3pm due to work. He got upset that he had to wait, until I arrived. All he did was walk in look at the make of my refrigerator and stated the is a Maytag there made by LG and you need a compressor. They don't make for this model. Mind you he never checked anything on the refrigerator, just opened the door and closed it. He went to his office and made a false claim that it was still under manufacturer warranty so they could not fix. So my warranty company(AHS) denied the claim. Tech angry because he couldn't start before scheduled time. Poor business. I don't recommend this company or American Home Shield. read more

We've used All Brands Appliance Repair several times through our home warranty and always had great experiences with their technicians. The techs deserve 5 stars. I repeat, this review isn't based on their abilities. Unfortunately, the customer service--specifically Jennifer in the office--was so unprofessional it ruined the whole experience. She was rude, dismissive, and inconsistent on multiple occasions. I was told one appointment date, but when no one showed, I called to check what was going on & she insisted I was wrong, refused to apologize or help, and even said I was "just angry I wasn't getting my way." She insisted there was no way she told me that date cause they only come on thursdays (it was a Tuesday we had the issue). Later, she contradicted herself on scheduling policies and never once apologized. She initially made us wait over 10 days to get a tech to come diagnose the problem but then they were able to be out there the next day once the part arrived. She said they only came to my town on Thursday's & the upcoming Thursday was booked up so it had to be the following - making us wait 10 days - yet once it was diagnosed and part was ordered, he came with the part on a Tuesday. Something that should've taken a week took 3 weeks solely cause of her poor scheduling and customer service skills. The technicians are skilled and courteous, but customer service is the face of the business, and Jennifer's behavior was atrocious. Until the company addresses this, I cannot recommend them. read more

Avoid at all costs! All Brands came out to repair my washer through AMHS. They did no repairs, just collected their fee, claimed we had damaged the seal which no longer functioned, and left. The seal was damaged through normal wear and tear, which AMHS is supposed to cover. The price they quoted me to repair the seal out of pocket was almost as much as a new washer. read more

He charge AHS just to opened the door and say what he thinks is wrong with. when my husband called the company to tell them how bad he was treated they said too bad. Contacted with American Home Shield. Was assigned to me to repair my washing machine. Said that they couldn't come to my home for over a week. I had to cancel the dispatch for the service, call AHS so they could contact another company. ASH sent out Sears... they were great. I shouldn't have to wait over a week to have my washer. read more

Horrible company to use. Between them and American home shield, I don't know who's worse. AHS sent them to check on the door to my stove. After the visit, they wrote the cause up as excessive force used and that's why the latch went bad. Of course AHS didn't cover the repairs and I chose to pay for the repair to All Brands appliance repair. Almost $300 later the latch failed again. After contacting AHS, they suggested that I contact All Brands and see if there was a warranty seeing that it was less than 3 months. They told me that the warranty was 30 days and they wouldn't replace the part. When you spend $100 with AHS and almost $300 with All Brands, you don't expect to have the same problem in less than 3 months. I think they are in this together and I can't wait until my contract with AHS is over. I'll definitely find a better home warranty company. read more

Horrible service. Part arrived a week ago and no communication was sent out or provided to setup a follow up to install part of the fridge. I called and was told another 15 days was the first opening for an appt that I had no idea about. Also, that they weren't sure if the part had arrived. I had the tracking and let them know it arrived last week. This was after I left a vm last week and didn't get a return call. This was an absolutely horrible experience. Only bright spot was the tech who came initially and ordered the part quickly the same day. I had to go to pick up the part myself and install it bc it has been weeks to get this resolved. Then I was told by Home Owner warranty company the the technician reported I had a missing part and they would not cover the repair. Also the incompetent technician left the drain hose to the disposal off which caused a leak and water all over the floor after he left. After going back and forth with the warranty company they sent a different company to look at the dishwasher. The guy fixed the clogged hose in 10 minutes. NO PART WAS MISSING!. Service was provided through my warranty company. It was the filter and the housing, the company replaced. It worked for about a week. Called company directly because I had to pay for it out of pocket. Rep stated there is not a warranty on their service only 30 days on parts. My issue is the same thing is wrong, no water and no ice. They want to charge me to come out again. If I had known there was no warranty on their work, I would have went a different route. Beware of this company. read more

Wow, I was assigned these guys by American Home Sheild to fix my washer. The phones are off after (5pm) hours , no answering service, no voicemail, nothing! I call the receptionist / scheduler this morning who advised their soonest available date was 2 weeks away July 5th. I asked "is that the best you can offer? she replies "that is the soonest available date we have available"... I have ederly infirmed parents living with me and 2 weeks without clean laundry could result in heath problems. TL,DR: I got the run around, called AHS back and they reassigned me to another appliance repair company who is coming out in 5 days. If you get these guys, tell them you want somebody else that doesn't have 40 "1" out 5 star reviews that all say the same thing, THEY SUCK! read more

If I could give a negative star I would do that. I was referred to this company from my home warranty company. Once I was referred I checked them on yelp and saw a 1 star but still gave them a chance to prove themselves. They came out informed me of the parts needed and ordered them. The next tech came out and did nothing but said more parts are needed. Third tech (same as first) came out and "fixed" the fridge. 30 minutes later my fridge the seals around the fridge were hot to the touch (120*-150*). I called the company to have the tech come back or to call me. No call or return that day. Called the next day for a call back and no return call. Called the third day per the warranty company, upon the lady answering the phone she advised that they wouldn't be coming back and to get a second opinion. read more

Would give a zero if I could. Having microwave issues, contacted AHS in April, had to wait for it to be serviced at least 2 weeks, then told it needs a part (of course) which you then wait weeks for before they return. Microwave works for a day or so, then stops again, called them back, had to wait another few weeks and ironically when they came back the damn microwave worked in that moment. A few days later it stops again, call again, waited a few more weeks for it to be looked at, told it needs a different part, also told to just text Carl personally, don't go through AHS . Waited a few weeks as requested, call again, find out that the service call was closed because it was "repaired", ahhh no, I'm still waiting. Texting Carl, no response, so calling the company directly only to be told by the girl answering the call that she cannot tell him to contact me, that her wages come from him and not the other way around! Call AHS, because I was dealing with the serviceman directly it's out of their hands and they require another $75 service fee... I think not! I called to cancel tonight (now we are talking from April to mid August, and even though it's only a microwave and not essential, it's still frustrating!). Google of the "street address" of this business shows it's in a housing estate , so probably not even a genuine business! AHS comp the service fee and offered to get a different company to do the service. Still not convinced, but willing to at least see. Been with AHS for about 7 years now, getting really tired of the lousy contractors they have looking after their "valuable" customers. If this doesn't get sorted out by the new company I will call back and go through with the cancelation. Oh and btw, over the 7 years we couldn't stand the inconvenience and wait times so we have replaced ourselves the hot water system, the whole A/C unit, the garbage disposal, one of our fridges and called in a plumber. Really scratching my head why we keep paying these damn fees, it seems easier & certainly faster to just buy a new appliance ourselves! I am a property manager and this company was assigned to me through American Home Shield. The water to the refrigerator was not working. Technician came and told the tenant to turn off the refrigerator and should start working. They closed the ticket out without fixing the issue. I called American Home Shield to report a problem with my dishwasher. shortly thereafter, I received a call from All Brands and an appointment was scheduled. Karl came on Monday, July 3, 2023 and diagnosed the issue as "roach infestation on the mother board". I do not have a roach infestation nor do I have roaches in my home but because of his diagnosis, American Home Shield would not pay for the repairs. This is after paying $73/mo for coverage plus the $100 service fee for Karl to come out and misdiagnose the problem! This equates to $876/year plus an additional $100 in service fees! I could've purchased a new dishwasher for that amount of money. I called another appliance repair company. They diagnosed the problem as a loose wire. They tightened the wire and although it cost me an another service fee, my dishwasher is working. I have canceled my contract with American Home Shield and I will not use All Brands again. American Home Shield was very responsive and assigned me this contractor within about 15 minutes. They even did a video visit to record the issues with my freezer and expedite the service call. I was told to call All Brands to schedule my appointment. I called and a rude woman answered the phone. You could tell she was such a joy to deal with. Without even asking my availability, she said I can have Carl there between 12-4 on Saturday (today is Wednesday by the way). She booked it and said this would be for a video appointment to diagnose the issue (so in 3 days no one could even come out to my house yet!!!) I called back AHS and they were able to schedule me an in home appt with Sears for tomorrow. I am not unreasonable. And I understand same day or next day service is not likely to happen. But 3 days without a freezer? Let alone, an in home appt seems a bit ridiculous to me. What's funny is there office is closed by 5 every day and they taken an hour lunch break. No one even answers the phone after 5 or during the lunch. How many businesses can stay open like this? Avoid them like the plague... read more

All Brands Appliance who my home warranty service paired me with spent about 11/2 minutes on a video service call about my cracked cooktop & reported to my home warranty company that it was for an impact. The truth is my daughters & I were at the kitchen table and heard a very loud noise & we couldn't determine what it was until I went to the stove to stir the pot of stew I was cooking & discovered that the cooktop had cracked. The warranty company believed this guy from All Brands Appliance & denied the claim for my cooktop. I told them that I would be willing to go in front of a judge & swear that nothing was dropped on it but it fell upon death ears. To add insult to injury I was told by the All Brands Appliance that it would cost around $900 & I laughed & said that was more than I paid for the stove because I got it on sale. I BELIEVE ALL BRANDS APPLIANCE & MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY ARE BIG TIME SCAMMERS!!! I CANCELED MY HOME WARRANTY & DON'T APPRECIATE BEING TAGGED A LIAR & CHEAT. Technician never called as he was supposed to. Showed up late. At the conclusion of the job.. he requested cash. I advised that we were not giving cash he asked that we make a check payable to him. I refused this request as it did not seem legitimate and contacted AHS who advised not to do it. Bottom line not a good experience. read more

Horrible. I had an appointment through AHS for broken buttons on a microwave. The microwave worked, but the fan and light buttons had gotten recessed. Technician arrived, I told him the microwave worked. He put a wet paper towel in the microwave to heat, and verified it still worked. He then took a couple of pictures of the buttons and said he would have to order the part. He was there for maybe 5 minutes at the most. A couple of days later, I get a note from AHS that the service call has been closed due to "negligence or vandalism" according to the technician. The technician never even asked me what happened to the buttons, he maybe spoke 20 words the whole time he was there, he never opened the microwave. It could just be a screw fell out for all I know. Slow service. It took a week for them to come out and they determined my refrigerator needed a new defrost control board. 1 week later they replaced it and didn't even stay to see if it worked. I asked the guy to wait to see if the fan or compressor came on and he said he didn't have time. He said he had 4 houses in the area and promised to come back. 30 mins later still nothing I text him and the office back and no response. I was very hesitant to accept this company from my American Home Shield warranty. The yelp reviews were most all a 1 star. My experience was completely opposite! I provided All Brands with the model and serial number of my stove. I was the first appointment of the day (8:00 a.m.) When the repair man arrived, he had the parts he needed to repair the stove. He was very friendly and did his work well, putting it all back together again! The office was very professional, to the point they made sure they could have the part by the end of the week. My warranty company selected this company to repair the dryer in my rental. I bought the Maytag dryer new 1-year ago so I was surprised it had any issues after just 1-year. Normally Maytag appliances I've bought in past lasted 10 years or more - especially the higher end ones.. Anyways - the first time slot for repair was 2-3 weeks after I initially contacted my warranty company to submit a claim. Once the repairman came out, he had to order a part (another 7-day wait). I contacted my tenant this morning to see if they made the repair yesterday and she said he was in and out in 5-minutes and didn't test nor hook the dryer hose back up so she doesn't even know if the repair worked or not (I will follow-up with my warranty company about that part). I'm hiring a different company to clean the dryer vents - since dryer vents aren't covered under my appliance warranty but A/C vents are (go-figure). 'All Brands' does dryer vent cleaning but I wouldn't think of giving them my additional business - and I hope my warranty company cancels their sub-contract with them after I and others contact them. We had an appointment through American Home Shield for a fridge repair for a broken flap between the French doors. While the technician was nice and pleasant and arrived on time, after the appointment he reported that the flap was not broke through normal wear and tear. The fridge has been opened a million times over ten years and obviously not intentionally broke so we can have water ruining our hard wood floors and problems with our food In our fridge! Was seriously a waste of $75 service call through AMS! The part was likely less than that. Do not recommend. read more

This place is horrible and the people who work there are lazy and rude. Twice the guy has been out to fix my dishwasher and couldn't repair it because he said the first time it was to dusty because we were having our floors fixed. Now he showed up and told me because there were dishes in the dishwasher he couldn't do the repair. Unbelievable not once was I told the specific environment this repair person needed to complete his job. I called the receptionist and told her the issue and she then proceeded to tell me that they couldn't work. She then proceeded to hang up on me when I got frustrated about this. Never use them. Absolutely horrible! Three scheduled repairs to fix dishwasher. First time out they were an hour late with a 4 hour window. Ordered parts. Second time, couldn't turn off water to do repair. Third time, they completely blew me off! Four hour window, now show, no call nothing! When I had called to schedule this repair the woman answering the phone was so incredibly rude as well. All Brands Appliance does repair work as a contractor for American Home Shield in the Jacksonville/NE Florida area. Although they seem to be able to repair appliances sufficiently, they have severely damaged my home in relation to a repair of an appliance. American Home Shield will allow you to use other contractors for repairs, but definitely do NOT allow All Brand's employees to fix any system related to an appliance including plumbing, electrical, or other system(s) attached to any appliance. read more
