We had Gentek windows installed to replace our 30 year old windows. the first rain that we had…read moreafter they were installed the inside track of the sliders filled with water. The windows were purchased and installed by our local home hardware. The home hardware installation crew came out took pictures and forwarded to Gentek. We were told about a week later that this is normal and complies with industry standards for Canada. We are still without a resolution and of course the Home hardware wants final payment as Gentek have said they are unwilling to replace with a different window as they are sticking with the statement of industry standard. I can't see how allowing water to come into the inside track which either has to evaporate or else wiped out otherwise it will cause mould growth. I am now out hard earned money for garbage windows that I am going to have to replace. the way I look at it if water can get in so can cold air in the winter. Stay away from Gentek

Do your homework and find somewhere reputable that has the integrity and resources to provide you the service you have paid for. This "school" also attempted to negotiate a pick up and drop off spot (other than school or home) for my child's in-car training, after advertising buyer beware about the same practice. Save your money. Also of note - interesting the ONLY 5 star Google rating is by the "President and CEO". Just WOW.
