This place is big, open, and welcoming. There is a nice parent lounge upstairs so little brothers and sisters can play!

I am 73 going on 54. That don't come easy. Club 24 is the best gym in the area (my wife and I have…read moreused most of them over the years); and the South Richland Club 24 could not be better. Brandy Juda is a star and has become a friend on top of being an excellent gym supervisor. She is knowledgeable and resourceful, and has a welcoming smile for everyone! All of the Club 24 employees are pleasant and effective. Clean; easy to access; affordable with good quality machines and weights--well maintained, clean and nicely arranged. AND, a great clientele. I have made some good friends and many very polite members make Club 24 a COMMUNITY--not just a gym. Thanks for all you do! Neal Taylor

I found that after a year of having an Annual Club membership at CLUB 24, most of the maintenance…read moreand cleaning was a rarity. Cleaning was mostly enforced by staff for Club members to clean, but didn't notice much at all from staff members. However, this is necessary to keep a clean and sanitary gym. Not to mention a safe environment for gym members. As an example, one CLUB 24 I went to had the same cobwebs in the rafters for the whole year of my membership. Maybe Club members are responsible for that cleaning as well. The stairmaster was mostly not working with the heart monitor and digital components not operational. The bathrooms were always filthy. Worse than outhouse type. I imagined that my annual membership would stay the same since I signed up for the year. No, I was wrong! It escalated to $50 a month without explanation. $29 a month is a real STRETCH, in my opinion, for any Club 24 in the Tri-Cities area with broken old equipment and unsanitary conditions. I will be going to a more REPUTABLE GYM like GOLDS that has up to date equipment and equipment that is in tip-top shape. The monthly cost will be a much better value to. My suggestion to anyone looking for a gym this is not your gym. Keep looking. Very disappointing experience.

If you want heavy weights, hardcore workouts, loud blaring music, lots of screaming and grunting,…read morePlanet Fitness is not the place for you. Nor does it necessarily want you. It doesn't cater to you. If you want simple cardio workouts with a lot of machines, some weights and strength training that doesn't get too heavy and a neat atmosphere, this is your place. It's cheap and caters to a more beginner's gym and mindset and that is the way it comes off in it's mission and purpose. It's "Judgement Free" zone slogan is hypocritical BS. With a 'lunk alarm' and a desire to have no 'lunks' that is totally judgemenetal and critical. So, that is a bit of hypocrisy. Hey, you might not want muscle bound, hardcore weight lifters and body builders, but if you you're going to want to be a 'judgement free' zone, you're going to need to not 'judge them.' Except for what seems to be a hypocritical farce of an attitude, for the most part, this gym delivers for newbies. It's $10/month with a simple commitment. $15/month if you want to be free from commitment and like $21/month for their plan that includes being able to workout at other Planet Fitnesses and use their massage chairs and what nots. I don't know, I go to the gym for cardio and to walk in place so when I get tired I just have to walk to my car when done. I know, right? I'm fat and lazy, but I'm slowly losing weight. This gym is good, if you're looking for these qualities. With the exception of their 'judgement free' zone, they do deliver on what they promise for the most part. They don't promise a lot though, so for the price, they're an ideal first gym or somewhere to go if you don't want to (or cannot) keep exercise machines in your home. The price is right in that regard. If you want a gym that caters to body building, have lots of classes to choose from, need a pool, there are better more expensive gyms around. But for what it offers and claims to offer, Planet Fitness is great and delivers.

For a gym that advertises "no judgment", this is the most judgmental place around. It appears to be…read moreheavily vested into the Woke agenda. I actually like the gym atmosphere but the district manager Amani, has some agenda to eliminate members and certain staff members. She has cancelled my membership twice now for incidences that are unfounded while ignoring my complaint that a underage female was in the men's locker room or that one of her employees hit the speed up buttons on the treadmill I was using. For reference I'm recovering from open heart and a spinal fusion surgeries that have made stability an issue at certain speeds of activity. The last incident a staff member asked why I was walking hunched over and looking in pain. I told her about the sciatic pain shooting down my legs and how excruciating it was. I did point out where the location was and that was my fault but you have to look at intent and circumstances of each situation. Even if there was wrong doing isn't there a warning or protocol steps like a talking to? To cancel my membership and ban me from all three Tri Cities locations seems excessive and punitive for a misunderstanding for a business built on no judgement. I've reached out to them a couple times to get a dialog going and no one from the company or HR has responded in any way.

This is still a decent gym after a re-visit. I was in between gyms. I had just divorced myself…read morefrom CBRC, but still wanted a gym. Years ago I had lived in Kennewick, and I used to go to a gym called World Gym. It was nicely-sized (not microscopic or gargantuan). It had the basics: pool, basket ball court, cardio, weights, steam rooms, juice bar, etc. The most important thing: it was new. So this place was super clean. The pool was crystal clear. The basketball court floor had a mirror shine. I was falling for my gym. But then I moved to Richland, away from World Gym, and awkwardly started "dating" the CBRC. I had broken up with her years ago, too. But they were close to where I lived. We had a tumultuous, expensive, and dirty relationship. I finally had the guts to call it quits. Enter Kia Ora. You see, World Gym is now Kia Ora Fitness. I had daydreamed about her all the time when I was at CBRC. I missed her. So, yeah. Even if she changed her name (I hope she didn't change her name just to escape me!), I still wanted her back. I joined up for a cool 8-Week Study deal they had going. For $50 I could go to this gym for 2-months. I just had to make sure to take 3-classes a week. This was harder than I thought. My schedule can be busy, so it was hard to make all the classes I wanted, but I made it work. The classes were a little hard for me to get used to at first. Although I didn't like CBRC, I did like their excellent instructors. But yeah, after a while, the Kia Ora instructors grew on me, and they were awesome. I pretty much just did the classes here (3-classes/week is tough to make!). I should say that World Gym....errr...Kia Ora has lost some of her shine. The machines are a little dusty, the pool is a little cloudy with green spots on the floor, the basketball floor is scuffed and a little battered. So yeah, she was a little aged, but y'know. She's still a nice gym. It wasn't ever super crowded (although the Sunday Body Flow class would get packed). The people here were cool. The staff here are nice. Oh, I didn't like the RPM class. This class was always packed. I guess you have to reserve bikes ahead of time. I had my towel on a bike and stepped out for a sec and found my towel on the floor. Jerk! Guy didn't even say anything to me. Anyway, they seemed pretty stuck up in here, and that was the last I tried RPM. Overall, it's a decent gym. It's independently-owned. And the people are nice here---for the most part. (This is my favorite gym in the Tri-Cities, so far. I just hope they survive the Gold's Gym Invasion. I just signed up for the new one being built in Richland.)

I wasn't entirely impressed by this gym when we signed up but I loved the idea that it is 24 hours…read moreand that they had separate saunas for men and women. It was important to us that my daughter(16) could access the gym any time after staffed hours. Two employees assured me that she would have full access. (For clarity she just wanted to be able to go to the gym after work. Gym is unstaffed after 8pm and sometimes she was off at 8:45) She utilized the gym after staffed hours numerous times, until the other day she was not allowed entry. I went to the gym and let her in thinking it was a malfunction with her finger print. The next day I received an email with a list of penalties and fees for letting a minor enter after staffed hours. This information was not included in our welcome package and when I contacted the gym, the receptionist assured me she was a full access member. He was unsure of the issue. I was still waiting for a call back from a manager or the owner. Yesterday I went to the gym and was working out when the female owner interrupted me to give me unsolicited advice on where and how I was performing my box jumps. I kindly declined her suggestion . As she walked away she yelled "you'll break your shins doing that" I informed her that I am a personal trainer but thank you. Side note: she was literally walking around the gym without socks or shoes. I approached the male owner to discuss the issue and she just couldn't help herself. She just had to try and get her point across. Even after I told her I wasn't speaking to her. Carl said he could cancel my membership for me with out penalty. I am going to check tomorrow to see if it's been done.
