Jim was not out to con me or sell me the next best thing. He gave me options on how I could save money. The guys came in and installed windows and cleaned the mess. We contacted Smart Shield Windows because they are a veteran-owned and veteran-friendly company,…read morewhich was important to me as a fellow veteran. After working with Bryan and his team, I can honestly say they exceeded every expectation we had. Smart Shield talks about putting customer service, integrity, communication, and quality first, and that is exactly what we experienced. I have never had customer service from a home improvement or service company as good as what we received from Smart Shield. Everything was easy, convenient, timely, and well communicated from the first conversation through installation. We had our front entry door replaced, along with our garage entry door and a new screen/storm door. Bryan took the time to walk us through the different options, helped us get the look we wanted, and worked with the manufacturer when we had specific requests around the front door and trim. Bryan and his team were excellent every step of the way. The installation was professional, the finished work looks great, and the difference in our home was noticeable almost immediately. The house is quieter, the doors seal significantly better, and we can already feel the improvement in keeping the cool air inside and the hot air outside. What impressed me most was how easy they made the entire process. Smart Shield says they focus on customer care and keeping customers informed throughout the project, and they absolutely delivered on that promise. If you are looking for new windows or doors, I highly recommend Smart Shield Windows. They are a veteran-owned company that takes pride in its work, stands behind its products and installation, and provides a level of customer service that is increasingly hard to find. They earned every bit of this five-star review.

We set up an appointment for just 4 business days after the first message. Two people came in around 11am, were very careful and were done within 30 mins. They were very careful and cleaned up afterwards. The door now looks as good as new! The one small thing I wasn't very happy about was that they were not wearing masks but other than it was a great service and a great cost!

However, when the…read morewindows come in, they don't really care what your days off are they obligate you to commit and take a day off from work. In my particular case having to take a day off three days after a holiday is a hardship. It's a hardship that they are not going to help me economically to settle. When they tell you something don't buy everything they tell you even though the windows seem to be good quality you're gonna have to hire someone to either sit with your home or you have to take the day off. They will tell you that everyone takes the day off. I'm not really sure what population they are used to working with.

Unprofessional, left a mess, scuffed my walls and ceiling, dirty, clumps of caulk, yellow caulking, leak through my ceiling. Really unbelievable! The shower head had to be replaced three times due to leaks. Six times they had to come to fix different things and THREE different crews. All subcontractors. All showed up whenever they wanted. Complaining to ME that they had to drive 3-5 hours when that is not my fault! They showed little to NO empathy for our inconveniences. I could go on.... So unfortunate because we were so exited and this costed us thousands.

It wasn't easy to find Justin and my hope was disintegrating after being ghosted by people who never showed up, people who showed up then don't follow through with the estimate, or people who didn't honor appointments. Thankfully he restored my confidence! Justin is knowledgeable, down to earth and reliable! R E L I A B L E!!!! I was impressed when we first met that he showed up on time. Not only that, he permitted us to purchase our own materials and provided a materials list. We saved a lot of money just on that. Justin installed a bay window that we had in our garage for 17 months after being ghosted by our original contractor. We were thrilled with the workmanship, and the whole process honestly. From the contract to the scheduling to the work- everything ran like a well oiled machine. He also tore down the ugly fiberglass brick that was installed in 1970 something and replaced it with clip stone. Justin did a great job choosing the color pattern as we chose willow peak which has a variety of colors. We will definitely be working again with Justin for other projects we have. He is a skilled contractor and his crew is very pleasant too. They go the distance! I feel very grateful that we found his company. His crew was kind enough to load our trailer with unused supplies we had to return, they made sure to clean up after working, and were respectful. Impressed is how I would describe the whole experience.
