Angle convinced me last year to add lowlights along with my highlights to give me a more dimensional look. This was good advice, as it blended well and went a long way to disguise and downplay my increasing gray growth. So, I asked for the same treatment for this salon visit. I consider this hair therapy, and what fun! She's both a good listener and a conversationalist. Loved my visit yesterday and I am thrilled with the results. I will have to get into the UP Hair Company salon more often in the future.

Got my nails done and after a few weeks of swimming in the lake, sand, washing dishes and my nails growing out- they still look FABULOUS as the day they were done! They do hair as well and one of my guests was in a pinch. They got stood up by another salon and I told her - "Go talk to Kate, she'll figure something out for you". They did her hair and makeup ( not their standard service) and she looked BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm so grateful to have found Kate's place and now I have a go to spot anytime I'm in town. I'll make it a point to get my nails done when I'm in Marquette. I wish I had pics to share but they have nails artists that can do any technique and style you want!

So we decided to swing by here since they have the extra capacity washers and we really appreciate getting the laundry done quickly. Very friendly staff here, love, the fact that you can pay with app- and everything was working out If you didn't want to stay and do your own laundry; there was a Sign on wall 'laundry drop off $1/lb- not a bad price They do have a vending machine machine for detergent, bleach, dryer, sheets, etc., and all those were a dollar each plus there is a snack vending machine There are a lot of signs on the wall, make sure to look for the one for Wi-Fi if you need it, but it is up by the front door Friday morning this was a pretty busy place, but everything was running efficiently And yes, they did have two rooms with tanning beds for those of you who want to tan while your laundry is running lol

We wanted to support a local business while we were in the area. Tried to reach them for 2 days for…read morepedicures...maybe called 6-7 times at different times of the day. No one answered ever. It was not a business voicemail, instead it "pre-screened" calls...which did not feel like a business seeking clients would do. Still gave my name and reason for calling but no one picked up. No hours listed on Facebook or Google (other than the one that said they were open 24 hours a day. Lol. I don't think that's a thing!). Finally found an email. No response to that either. We went elsewhere.
