TL/DR: No obligatory trip charge, fast, friendly, and quality work at a VERY reasonable rate…read more HIGHLY recommended! I'm not used to having a sprinkler system, so when I had a problem, I wasn't sure how to fix it. I could've spent my time researching repairs, and trying to fix it myself and probably failing... but instead I decided to call a professional. And professionals I got! Father/son team Dale and Dylan were great about communicating with me (especially since Hurricane Michael hit on the day they were supposed to come out!), and showed up on time to do the work. They immediately found the problem (a busted sprinkler head) and suggested we cap it off, since it was no longer needed in that position anyway. The previous owners had installed landscaping and a shed long after the sprinklers and had never adjusted the system, so Dale offered to do a complete survey of the system to identify any other issues. This is not like taking your car to a mechanic where (unless you're a mechanic) you don't know how truthful they're being. Everything Dale and Dylan explained was clear and made total sense - and will save a great deal of money and water in the future from "wasted spraying." In the end, they replaced five or six nozzles, two heads, capped another, and adjusted the spray volume on the rest. For all the work they did, they charged a very reasonable rate, and did the work quick and cleanly - without even messing up any of the landscaping! I'd recommend these fellas hands-down anytime you need great work done.

Pros: timeliness, got the job done quickly, gave professional opinions…read more Cons: value, talked into a more expensive modernized system still not sure we needed, trenches left across yard requiring leveling with another landscaping company, two breaks in system in last few months that were apparently our fault. Trying a new company.

Dillon and I had connected several years ago regarding a massive landscaping project for my home,…read morewhich was to occur after some construction work. After a few years, we connected again, after I also obtained several other quotes. Dillon by far, was the most visionary and patient person to work with. This project took several weeks to complete, which was expected. Basically, it was a complete tear out and rebuild of my yard, patio, decking, front porch and walk, with plenty of pavers, plants and sod. Dillon and his team were outstanding in every way. In all of my years, and houses, I have never worked with a contractor that was as easy as Dillon and his team. I actually consider them my project team. We worked together as a team to make my dream come true. My home looks better than expected. Their diligence and eye for detail is second to none. Pricing was quite reasonable. Not to mention, they are a full service organization. I did not have to sub out to others for tear out, irrigation, low voltage electric, hard and soft scape, gas fire pit, flagpole, and more! They were able to do it all and beautifully. My only wish is that Dillon and his crew could perform the weekly maintenance and house projects! I am proud of my home and my partnership with Dillon and his crew! Thank you!!!

I hired James with A Cut Above Landscaping to address a serious water intrusion issue at one of my…read morerental properties. He recommended installing a basin drain system as the solution, but unfortunately the work was completely ineffective. The crew dug up the parking lot and front of the house to install the drainage system, but left a huge mess behind. There were trenches and uneven areas throughout my parking lot and even extending onto my neighbor's property. The entire job felt rushed, like the priority was finishing as quickly as possible rather than making sure it was done correctly. The drainage system itself was poorly designed. The drains were not installed up against the house where the flooding and water intrusion was actually occurring, and the front of the property was not properly graded to direct water toward the drain. As a result, the system did little to solve the original issue. When I reached back out and asked James to come back and help correct the problems, his response was that they were "already barely making any money on the job." That response made it seem like the focus was more on profit than standing behind the work or making things right for the customer. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the workmanship and the customer service, and I would not recommend using this company for drainage or water intrusion issues.

***GREAT EXPERIENCE*** Coastal Lawn Sprinkler owner Jay is…read morehonest, straight forward, and understood my exact needs. He calls back too! My sprinkler system was in need of TLC. That said, Tyler assessed my system and discovered my pump was cycling frequently, sprinkler heads impacted below the base of the grass, sprinkler heads on the same zone as rotary sprinklers, and some sprinklers were too close to the house. In addition, he addressed my desire to add more heads to the back of my property and provided his professional opinion and advice. Once the assessment was complete and rough estimate of the time and cost, Tyler and Mike performed an irrigation system valve reconfiguration, zone expansion, sprinkler head maintenance, sprinkler head relocation, and installation of two valve boxes. This was a two-day project and I could not be more pleased with the SKILL, PROFESSIONALISM, and EFFICIENCY displayed by Tyler and Mike. The amount of work accomplished in two days could have easily turned into a four-day project. I WILL CALL COASTAL LAWN SPRINKLER FOR ALL OF MY IRRIGATION NEEDS; THIS ORGANIZATION IS A CLASS ACT!!!

For the most part Jay, the owner of Coastal Lawn Sprinkler installed our sprinkler system well…read moreenough but we hate the system for turning on and off the sprinklers. He uses peg pins and you have to run every zone before you can get to the next zone! It is by far the most inconvenient system we have ever had. Plus he does not provide a schematic of location of sprinklers. When my husband asked for it after the job was complete he just responded "oh we don't do that". Also, when we had a problem later with one of the sprinklers, his company was way too busy to get out and fix the issue in a timely manner. I had to get an entirely different company out. So long story short, I would not recommend this company. Jana in Crestview
