Her energy and kindness is what drives you to want to work harder. All the instructors are great and always have you feeling welcomed. They always change things up so you're not feeling stagnant. Like with any exercise program, the more consistent you are the better results. The instructors are great about taking your limitations and physical restrictions into consideration to protect you from strain or injury. A couple of things that have stood out the most over the years is that any body shaming is NOT tolerated. That is important and impressive as many individuals may feel it's hard to start for fear of judgment of others. That's not a worry or concern here at all. Just know that it's also not a social hour. Most talking is done before or after classes to allow everyone to focus on their routine. The other stand out is seeing the results. Personally, I'm not consistent enough to see significant results. However, having attended classes over the last couple of years, the results are apparent in those who have maintained regularly consistent visits. For myself, times I've had to take breaks and return, there's a noticeable difference in how my body reacts to the lack of consistency. There have been moments I've considered calling quits but knowing it works and makes a difference on my body, mind and soul is what keeps me coming back. Beyond Barre also offers Red Light therapy. My chiropractor recently started offering it for patients. You can do short visits, but the same your best results are in routine visits. I'm going Iryna will bring back Yoga nights. The best sleep I get are after those routines. Members can bring guests for free on Friday nights and class schedules may change a little with new programs that Iryna introduces. From time to time she offers great promos for anyone wanting to just try it out. You'd be welcomed with open arms and encouraged to try again. Absolutely, worth it!

I wasn't here for the yoga, but the cafe seems to fall under the same umbrella. Judging by prior…read morereviews it has gone through some major changes in its time. What I encountered was a good-sized cafe with sugary beverages, waffles, and pastries (they had one salad, but I wouldn't call it a health food place). The apple butter chai I went for delivered pretty much the flavor you'd expect from that name, rather excessively sweet but fun. A waffle with banana and some very sticky Nutella was nicely carmelized. I kind of wish they still had the salad bar that some of these other reviewers seem to have encountered, which if it still exists escaped my gaze. Nonetheless, the cafe was pretty good for what it was.

While strolling the street(s) of downtown Danville, my boyfriend and I were searching for a good place to stop in for a snack before our drive back to Lexington. After poking out heads in to look at the menu posted on the open door, we decided to have a seat when we saw there was also a bar with TVs so we could watch some march madness. Since it was St Paddy's Day, there was a drink special and we each ordered a beer as well as an order of chips and guacamole. The guac was plentiful and the bartender told us to let her know if we needed a refill on chips. There were a lot of other menu options that sounded appetizing and healthy as well, including juices, smoothies and smoothie bowls, coffee/tea, oatmeal, toast, salads, soups, and sandwiches! I can't speak with experience for the fitness classes; but they offer yoga, hot yoga, barre, pilates, as well as cycling classes. I can see this being a popular spot for Centre students, as its in an easy walking distance from campus. There was also a small stage set up for what looks like singers/bands/open mic nights! Plank on Main is definitely a great addition to downtown Danville

What a fantastic place to learn how to dance! The owners are great and are well respected…read more I started learning not so long ago and am so very pleased with the patience, attention, and attitude of all of their instructors. There are no hidden fees or BS like other studios. I attended classes at a different place in Nashville and ultimately signed up with this studio. They have been OVER THE TOP at helloing me learn. There is NO BETTER studio than BDS in Southern Kentucky or Middle Tennessee. Hands down the best. I travel from St. Louis due to the level of instruction that I receive from them.

Unfortunately, the studio's communication and people skills are sorely lacking. So I want to warn prospective dancers. I signed up for a "First FREE Lesson," and was scheduled for a two-lesson time slot without my knowledge, then charged over $100 when I came in. I don't believe this was intentional, but it was unprofessional; the response I got when I tried to explain the situation was even more so. I asked for a refund, and was curtly told the information was on their website (it wasn't), and to find another studio. Because the website is not straightforward about prices, here's a heads-up: a 45-minute private lesson is $115, with discounts for bundle purchases up to 50 lessons for $5000. From any business, I'm always looking for transparency and clear communication; this studio does not have it. I will not be back
