Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to rent bikes as we hoped, but we did need beach chairs for a few days. We rented two chairs from All About Bikes (was so glad they carried them) and the owner couldn't have been friendlier. These were NICE chairs! They were the type you can wear as a backpack, which made carrying our stuff to the beach a lot easier. Might be a small thing but the previous week we rented chairs at LBI that were a nightmare - VERY heavy and difficult to drag to the beach. I was at the bike shop two weeks prior to look for a bike for my granddaughter. There was a pink bike that we were interested in but my granddaughter couldn't decide. The young owner said he would have it put together by the end of the day and I said we would get back to him. Two weeks later when we were back at our beach house in Brigantine, I went back to the bike shop and informed the owner that I wanted to purchase the pink bike and have it delivered. The bike had not been put together and he balked at delivering the bike although he previously said he would .He gave me such an attitude that I asked for my credit card back and cancelled the order. I had punched two bikes from the previous owner but will never enter this shop again. read more

I purchased a bike about 5/6 years ago for my son for christmas. John the owner not only was awesome he also delivered the bike to my home on christmas eve free of charge. Since then my sons bike has been in and out of the shop new tires, chain (I thought, but it only needed to be tightened FREE OF CHARGE). So today I went to the shop to purchase a new bike for my son and it was closed. I called the cell phone number on the door and John made arrangements to meet me at the shop and he also delivered the new bike to my home once again FREE OF CHARGE. The shop has a free tune up policy and since my sons birthday is tomorrow John saved the day once again. Also told me to have my son come by the shop on Friday when he is open and he will adjust the seat and handlebars for him Love this shop!!!!!!!! read more

New to the local resources in Brigantine, All About Bikes N Wheels was the first bike shop to pop up in an internet search. I'm not sure if it's the only shop in town, but it's going to be my go-to. Conveniently located in the central business district, it's easy to access either by bike or car. If you visit by car, there's a parking lot for a nearby shopping center or street parking. My husband and I dropped off our bikes around 10:15am on Sunday for basic tune-ups. By 1:00pm, we had received calls that they were complete. Given our visit was during the off-season, but I thought that was a pretty speedy job. Each tune-up cost $60, which is definitely in-line with the market costs for a tune-up in Philly. I've yet to go for a ride since the servicing of my bike, but I'm happy with the cost and timing. They also have bike sales. read more

I bought a used bike there last month for a reasonable price, it is a lovely shop. The owner was nice and owner's father and step mom were there helping too since it was a busy day. It is great to have this wonderful family friendly business in a beach town that loves biking! I had heard that the previous manager was not great and was hesitant on being a customer here, but I am glad to say the new manager is great. A bike purchase / rental is an investment but it's a great way to be active and enjoy this beautiful town. Don't forget to wear a helmet! read more

The person that took over from John is a young fellow who apparently has no work ethic. I told him I had two bikes that needed new chains and a new handbrake on one . He told me he wouldn't take my bikes to fix since I couldn't pick them up in his prescribed time period as if he didn't trust me to come back to pay . Well , long short, I never got them fixed this summer and when I call him off season he has a recording saying he would be there on long weekends! I'm still waiting. No way to do business. I stopped by this shop last month simply to pump some air into my tires. The owner would not let me do it saying he would do it for a service fee. He further said if I was a past customer then I could pump my bike. Seriously!! I have been road biking for years and never experienced this before. While I buy many things as needed from bike shops along the way, I will never buy from this one based on the short sightedness of the Owner. I suggest cyclist avoid doing business with this shop. I have only experienced friendliness from bike shop owners until this one. Oh well, his loss as he lost any prospective business. read more

I told Tyler that my chain was jumping off the sprocket in 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th gears. He called me and told me the chain was the wrong chain for the bike, I bought the bike new with that chain! I tried the bike as soon as I got home, and all the gears were not seating properly and jumping. I took the bike back to Tyler and he rode it,telling me" it did not do that last night, when he rode it". I asked, what next and he said the small rear derailer is shot and needs a new one. At this point I said "are you gonna keep changing parts till it works" He said yes. I told him I use to be a mail sorting machine mechanic, and a mechanic determines whats wrong with a machine and fixes or adjusts that part of the problem, it gets expensive to keep putting new parts on when you don't know what's the problem. This is what he said to me" well what do you want me to do", this is the owner of the shop, and it only cost me $55 for that response. read more

my husband & i actually bought 2 bikes here about 7 yrs ago,we thought they were way over priced but since we didn't have a truck & he delivered we bought. right away i had problems with my brakes witch cause me to think they weren't the best bikes(still have problems with brakes) tried to get him to fix them but he was nasty & i ended up taking my bike to aaa to fix. then just today i got a flat tire & knew he would be costly but figured it would only be the few dollars in gas i would spend going to ventnor. well the price for a new inter tube was $21.00 when aaa charges $12.00. i've finally learn my lesson & will never give him another dime. ps i should have listened to other reviews. read more
