In the interim we hired someone recommended by a hack job handy man who is known for being a love ball but bad habit of Harry Houdini-ing when things don't suit him... Wound up with a county unionized average Joe (lovely guy but not this Joe because that guy turned out to be lazy, cut corners and not very good mowing, but I digress) - I turned to Yelp for recommendations. I wanted at least 3 quotes. In the meantime Tim Acton took over the lawn/landscape maintenance (they are the original landscapers for the property), and starting off on a better note. Very happy with them - so far - BUT after heart ache, getting quotes for work from more than one source is always recommended (particularly when they bother to SHOW UP!). Papa Joe is a super hard working guy, and delivers what he says he will. With an amazing personality and reasonable costs. Which makes decisions harder for me. So here's the deal: 1. He will be reasonable pricing. 2. He will respond, on time and communicate effectively 3. He will do what he will tell you he will. 4. Clean job and great pride in craftsmanship. So now, if I have to recommend? I am torn. Because both Tim A and Papa Joe are fantastic options. Now, lets see what the quotes for the staggered projects will look like. Because I have no doubt either will do an incredible job. I do know they both are for the long-lasting relationship.

We lost power and our street was not plowed for 4 days however.. we called Anthony's tree Service and they came over in just a few ours!! we were afraid with the winds still blowing that the big trees still against house that more damage would happen. Anthony's tree was able to drive up our unplowed street and cut the tees off the house into smaller pieces the came back several days later to clean everything up all for a very reasonable price!!! What they gave me was a "Spring Cleaning". I confirmed the verbal price with Jacob Franceconi, the Owner before the work and then received and invoice for three times the amount. I was threatened, and Jacob said that the Orleans court also way sides with him. Obviously he is frequently in court and we know why. I have my own leave blower. I don't need to pay for a supervisor to smoke cigarettes and talk on the cellphone. I didn't ask them to rake around the house. They cut my rose bushes down and didn't clean any of the yard. I paid them what was agreed, although they didn't do what they were asked to, and have received continual harassments. I do not recommend this business.
