Outside of that there aren't a lot of options besides basics for cleaning supplies, basic snacks, and very limited selection of fruits and veggies. I wanted to grab a quick bite here but there really aren't great options unless you ant to make your own sandwich. Bottom line..this place is very convenient if you are near the opera but this place is so very basic that it's hard to make anything other than a Italian pasta or sandwich. Everything else is lacking Pros Great location Well laid out Nice cashiers Cons Too basic could use more food variety especially take away options for those that want a quick bite

I had the paella & my husband had the roast beef with a Greek salad. The sandwiches and pasta looked fantastic, but we were wanting non-Italian food this day. You walk in to the deli case & place your order. The food is already cooked so they re-heat it for you and you can either take it away or eat in the cute back room seating area. This is a wine shop, specialty meat & cheese shop, some grocery items and beautiful fresh produce. A very nice selection of wines, grappa, limoncello & prosecco. It gets 4 stars for selection and freshness, but reheating the food it still wasn't very warm (I should have asked to heat it more, oh well). I will return, maybe will try a sandwich & veggies next time or maybe the pasta. Then I will update my rating, accordingly.

From MSG to flaxseed, from frozen potstickers to peruvian flan, this is a bunch of assorted worlds crammed up in a tiny little place of Florence heaven filling you with endorphins as you just keep finding treasures and discovering foods you thought you'd never find here in Firenzi Eeetaly. A good place if you're feeling adventurous, or homesick. And everything is organized by country/continent! Prices however, will be a lot more than what they cost in their countries of origin. Such as €4 for a regular carton of cranberry juice. But so worth it. This is definitely one of the biggest and if not, most varied foreign food store in the center. (Trust me, Scott and I went on a 3-day mission to find ginger ale so we visited almost every foreign market ha ha). (No... they don't have ginger ale here).
