I was a new patient and made an appointment for an adjustment. When I got to the office, it was nice and clean and I was told they needed x-rays. The x-rays were done, and I was given a talk about the practice in general. He also said that my neck was pretty bad and asked if I had been in an accident (no), or maybe injured as a child in some way that would effect my neck (no again). Dr. Flemming wanted to better review my x-rays, so he asked if I could come back later in the day. This seemed odd, but whatever. When I came back later, Dr. Flemming sat me down in a room in the back to review my x-rays. He proceeded to tell me that my neck and back were a mess. He had a chart of four pictures, good to bad, and proceeded to tell me that I was in such a bad way that without treatment, my neck would fuse together. After telling me this in a very dramatic fashion, he took out a worksheet for my Treatment Plan, along with a calculator, to tell me what it would cost for treatment. Basically, the least expensive option would be to pay about $3000 for a year worth of treatments, in advance, which would be my only choice for recovery. After going over all the treatment options, he said "what do you want to do?" I asked him about the adjustment I had booked for, and he said that no, this was a consultation and that I should have been told that when I made the appointment. He told me that I could pay an additional $50 if I wanted an adjustment. After hearing all of the above, I told Dr. Flemming that I wanted to go home and think about it. I was upset because according to him, my back and neck were about to kill me, the cost was astronomical, there was no adjustment in sight and my back hurt. After telling him I wanted to leave, he proceeded to keep using scare tactics on me, such as "you've been using ibuprofen, but that doesn't really work, right? How long can you keep going like that?" etc. I eventually got out of there. I've never had such an experience where a doctor tries to scare me into using their services. It was ridiculous. I found another chiropractor in Loveland who is amazing. She took a look at the x-rays and noted that Dr. Flemming must only see people with perfect spines. I've been going to here for about a month now and my back feels much better. She is friendly, not pushy, and seems to care more about my well-being rather than me pre-paying her for a years worth of services. read more

I put in a lot of research when looking for a Chiropractor in Northern Colorado, I must have read hundreds of reviews good and bad. Trusting someone to hold your neck in their hands is flipping scary. So it took me being at almost a 9 on the pain scale to call and make an appointment. I called up made an appointment for my wife and I, because she had been complaining about back pain as well, she's even more broken than I am but that's a different story for a different time, Lisa picks up the phone with her " this is Lisa I can help you" and help she did. She got us in to see Dr. Flemming right away. We were able to fill out the forms on line so we could get right on and see the doc. Imagine my surprise when appointment time came and we didn't get an adjustment, I just wanted relief. Dr Flemming took x-rays, had us do a range of test to see where exactly we were for range of motion and so on. I found out later the reason he waited to adjust was due to the fact he wanted to look at the x-rays and make sure he wouldn't do more damage than help. the staff and Dr. Flemming made me feel comfortable and i got on a plan to strengthen my back, the adjustments are getting further apart which means my back is doing better, but if I need to, I know I can call in and Lisa will squeeze me in. The atmosphere in align is playful with Dr. Flemming being the biggest kid in there, but he also takes the time to get to know his patients. I've been getting regular treatments for about 6months here and am loving it. Consistent chiropractic adjustments have made a world of difference in reducing pain and increasing mobility in my hips, back and neck. Lisa and Dr. Brian are awesome - they take the time to get to know everyone by name and follow up on things that were discussed wether it's health related or just what you did last weekend. They are personable yet efficient in getting you on your merry way but will take extra time if you need additional areas adjusted or have questions. Dr. Brian Flemming and the team at Align are the best. I moved to Loveland CO and during the move, my lower back pain, sciatica, and fibromyalgia flared up. I am 66 yrs old and I have fibromyalgia so getting relief from sciatica on both sides, I found was not an easy task. I went to three different chiropractors and a spine place.
