When I first called, I was offered a virtual consultation the following day, which I completed thinking I would be able to schedule an in-office visit shortly after. However, I was told the next available appointment was about a month away. Although that was frustrating, I still scheduled it. Later, my sister received a follow-up text from the office about confirming an appointment. She also had reached out to inquire about Invisalign. But By that time they finally replied to her, she had already decided to move forward with another dental office, so she asked if I could take that available slot instead. The office replied saying that would be fine. However, when I was about five minutes away from the office, the receptionist, Hannah, called and said there had been some confusion and that I should keep my original appointment. That was extremely frustrating because I had already rearranged my schedule and was on my way. It didn't make sense that I was told I could come in if I ultimately couldn't be seen to conduct the appointment in its entirety. When I eventually had my appointment, the doctor and the back-of-house staff were very kind and professional. The visit itself was going well, and I told the doctor I wanted to move forward with Invisalign. I was then told it would take about four weeks for the trays to come in. I've had Invisalign before and know it often takes closer to two weeks, but I was still willing to proceed. The biggest issue came when discussing payment. I was given four payment options, and I asked if I could use my dental insurance and pay the remaining balance with my CareCredit card. I was told that wasn't possible. They mentioned they asked the doctor and apologized, but the answer remained no. I've never experienced a dental office being so restrictive about how a patient chooses to pay. It also makes the promotion offered very misleading considering that's not what's advertised. Overall, while the doctor and clinical staff were pleasant, the confusing scheduling, poor communication, and inflexible payment policies made the entire experience frustrating and ultimately felt like a waste of time. I didn't move forward that same day because I wanted to first visit a general dentist to make sure any fillings were updated and to get a cleaning before starting treatment. They referred me to an office upstairs, which unfortunately wasn't a great experience. After I shared that with them, they kindly referred me to their sister office instead, which I appreciated and everything worked out from there. However, when it came time to move forward with Invisalign, things changed and I was very disappointed. When I left my consultation, I was given three payment options. The option that worked best for me was $136 per month through CareCredit, which reflected a total treatment cost of $5,995 along with the concessions we discussed during my visit. When they followed up with me last week, I was told the treatment cost was now $6,997, and that they could honor a $1,000 down payment option instead. That was not the option I had selected or the one we discussed during my consultation. The sudden increase in price felt inconsistent and honestly left me feeling like the numbers were just being changed or made up after the fact. I've actually had Invisalign treatment before, and considering that this time I'm mainly looking to correct my bite , not redo my entire smile ,the new pricing felt especially aggressive. In fact, I didn't even pay that much during my original Invisalign treatment when my teeth were in a much worse position. Because of this, the situation left me feeling like there may have been a lack of transparency or consistency in the pricing. I arrived to my appointment a few minutes early, and did not have to wait to be seen. The staff were very pleasant and provided great service.
