The emotional support I received throughout our prenatal experience was incredible. The midwives made sure to address every aspect of my emotional and physical needs. However, everything fell through on the delivery day. They championed us through it, but they were not prepared for the complications we had. Because there was a simultaneous birth with another client, there was only one midwife and a midwifery student attending us. They did not manage our postpartum care well (blood loss, stitching, etc.), and this caused me immense physical pain. It was emotionally scarring for my husband and I as well. I wish I could recommend them, because the midwives were enjoyable to work with and became friends. But, when I am giving birth, I want someone who is prepared to handle the worst. I used to work as a paramedic before being a stay-at-home mom, so I understand emergencies being prepared for the worst-case scenario. It's a simple fix, really, to have other local midwives on call so situations like ours don't have to happen. I thank God that my daughter and I did not have more severe complications (like, resuscitation).

After one session, the entire right side of my face became un-clenched (and "unlocked" -- those with TMJ will know what I'm talking about). I cannot believe the huge improvement. I will definitely be going back to Wildwood Medicine (continued treatment is recommended, at least for a few weeks) for both this issue and other issues as well.
