He said well you live in Wayne County right? I said yes. He said you work in Wayne County, right? I said yes. He then said that I was eligible for assistance!!! OMG - I said well, give me the referral! So, I had to go to Michigan Works in Livonia and talk to a man about rehabilitation services and how not being able to hear and understand students affected my job, in which it did. How many ways/times can you say huh, excuse me, what did you say, can you say that again, speak up!!!!!???? I had to prove that I was sick, easy my medical records at my house is inches deep!!!! Ohhhh.... So, next thing I know I am approved! My medical insurance provided $1,000 and they picked up the rest. So, in essence, it cost me $0 - how much better can that get? So, now I have my hearing aids from The Hearing Center of Excellence, thank you very much and did not have to pay a dime! The only thing is the batteries are only good for about two weeks. Luckily The Hearing Center has a club that you can join for $20 and for another $20 you can get a whole box of batteries. So, whenever I run out of batteries I just go up to the Center and give them $20 and they will give me another box!!! Not bad and I think this saved my job!

Dr. Burgio ended up replacing the bones in my ears. He told me, and he put in my file, that he used plastic prosthesis. I had to have an MRI and needed verification, I went to the office and it was in my files that he used plastic. The MRI was performed, the bones were found to be titanium and they were all pulled out of place. I have spent the last 15 years of my life doing nothing but being dizzy, living with excruciating nausea, I throw up so much my teeth are falling out, and social security? Over the years, I am finally up to $790 a month... I went to see Dr. Burgio right after my surgery and I told him what I was experiencing. His eyes bugged out of his head and in front of my then boyfriend and, my ten-year-old daughter, he told me to come and see him in a YEAR. I called two months later and was told he was retired. I searched for him for two years, and as soon as the statute of limitations was up I found him in Scottsdale Arizona, at a practice with 25 other neurosurgeons. I began writing and calling, only to be told that he never lived in Michigan, he never had a practice in Michigan, he never had a license to practice in Michigan he never operated on me he didn't know me...blah, blah, blah...everyone in Jackson, his former staff, his former patients, ALL remember him, but he swears he's never been in Michigan. Look him up, there are several addresses before he come to Jackson. I wonder who he screwed up all those times... I have no equilibrium. I cannot function. My teeth are falling out of my head. I cannot help my daughter. I cannot help my grandsons. I raised my daughter on this money, and this money alone, as her father never paid a dime in child support. He, and his family are incredibly wealthy and have never helped...I cannot live this way any longer. I went to see Dr. Kirkner a couple of years ago, he knows everything and waited for me to get home and had his secretary call and tell me there was nothing he could do. I snored so loud that I scared myself awake. If my one functional nostril was stuffed up, I became a mouth breather. Not too attractive, I know. NP Deana Yasso-Vander Vliet guided me through the diagnosis and explained all that was planned for my nose. She has a fine sense of humor and put me at ease throughout. Dr. Mark Toma performed the surgery to make this hole on the right side of my nose actually do something other than just sit there being a hole. All was explained to me before and after the operation. It's been an epiphany for me. BOTH nostrils are supposed to work. Imagine that. I recommend SE MI ENT and especially NP Y-VV & Dr. M. Toma to anyone with nasal malfunctions. I'm glad that I finally made the move.

I was so nervous about going because of bad experiences at other locations. I had a digital breast cancer screening done at this location and I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism form the staff. Starting with Kimberly who was at the desk helping me check in. The area is small and not to busy. As soon as I completed a questionnaire on a tablet, I went to the dressing room and changed into a gown which ties closed. The changing room/booth is small with a cloth curtain to pull close. When I was done, I went to a waiting area where they offered water & coffee. I didn't wait long, and the technician called me back. Take you purse with you at this time as there is not a place to secure it. The technician went over the questions with me from the questioner I completed earlier. She explained everything she was doing and why. Very efficient and quickly done. She will ask you to hold you breath for a few seconds for each picture. I was exposed when she had to place the breast on the table, but you still had the gown cover you on the other side for this view. The next 2 photos you must take your arm out as they try and get as much as the armpit as they can in the photo as you are exposed again, but you are still covered on the other side. Then you switch sides and do it again. A total of 4 pictures were taken and maybe 15 minutes at the most for the imaging part. I was definitely more relaxed in a small setting like this and my anxiety was lowered. Thank you for a great patient experience!

Really difficult to deal with, but I need my nose fixed and I feel like I have no options but to deal with them. I also was never notified of insurance issues going on until it was too late for me to do anything about it, and now they are making me wait another 2 weeks to get anything done. I hate it.

I have been Dr. Chaudry s patient for 4 years now and I completely put my health in his hands for all this time. Recently I have been on 7 classes of drugs, 4 of which are narcotics that I have eventually gotten addicted to. Not long ago, he dismissed me out of nowhere and dropped me as a patient without even an explanation for his decision. He completely disregarded the side effects that would debilitate me physically and mentally due to withdrawal from the narcotics and simply told me that he was writing my last prescription and that I should leave his office and take up services from another doctor. Before his dismissal, his front desk never used to pass my messages to the doctor. After I insisted and made sure that he gets my messages, he never used to get the messages in time to the pharmacy which would result in my medications running as I wait for his prescription. The days that I had to wait were filled with unexplained horror and pain from the side effects that would lead me to get sick to my stomach. His treatment of me as his long-term patient is unfair, inhumane, and quite unethical for a doctor who is supposed to provide quality patient care. I deserve an explanation of why he is dropping me as a patient and at least be granted the time to find a new physician as he still writes my prescriptions. Moreover, not only is he unprofessional but so is his staff. I used to buy his staff lunch and coffee many times. The 2 receptionists that argued with me were fired due to bad behavior and he still blames the patient while they all micromanage the scene but have no control over what is happening. I cannot even start to explain how frustrated and angry this whole situation makes me feel. I have put my trust in this facility for so long for me to get this kind of treatment from them.
