And whatever was used completely crumbled. Didn't finish tile behind toilet. There was a huge crack in a very visible tile. Toilet was never sealed and sink wasn't screwed into the wall. We did not call him back about the problems. Perhaps he would have fixed things or given us a refund but we wanted to just move on from this bad experience and take the loss.

They worked around my schedule to get the floors in my entire house refinished before the holidays. The quote they gave me was accurate and they provided receipts for the materials they used. It was surprisingly affordable, considering I had both my upstairs and downstairs refinished, as well as 35sq ft of floor replaced. I have 2 very big, energetic dogs and after meeting them, they recommended a commercial finish for the floors to help protect them from dog shenanigans. They provided me with the information needed to make a decision, however, were not pushy about the upsell. I very much appreciated the looking out for the best needs of the floor. The communication throughout the process was excellent, I spoke mostly to Mike from the very beginning. They updated me daily about where they were in the process, providing pictures and timelines. They also left the house very clean, which I was pleasantly surprised to walk into! I was able to move back all of my furniture without having to deep clean everything first. Chris and Dave protected all the floors outside the bathroom and all the walls, glass, and vanities inside the bathrooms. They are extremely neat, professional, and courteous. They did an excellent job wet sanding (makes no mess), regrouting some areas, and resealing our stone floors. Trust me. If you want to know more, read on.... I was introduced to Love Tile and Marble through a claim with my home owner's insurance. Kevin and his team were sent out as sub-contractors for the tile repair. The insurance company paired us with a project manager to handle all aspects of the demolition and re-building of our two bathrooms. Long story short - we had a terrible experience with that project manager, and their other sub-contractors (the electrician, plumber, etc). The ONLY positive experience we had through the entire process was with Love Tile and Marble. Their workmanship was superior. They showed professionalism. And just as important, they showed respect for my home. These guys put down canvas to protect my hardwood floors and wiped their boots on the mat before they came in. It may seem like small gestures. But, through the 3 months of hellish renovations and dozens of contractors in and out of my home, the respectful ones stand out. After choosing my new floor tile, Kevin made suggestions on the pattern because of the imperfections in the tile (1/3 pattern, as opposed to the 1/2 pattern I originally wanted). I agreed with his suggestion and the floors came out beautifully! We also hired him again for other work, since we were so happy with his previous work. Bottom line - Kevin and his team are utterly fantastic. Fair and reasonable prices for top quality workmanship (which I can personally attest - is tough to find these days).
