Decent selection in what feels like a basement showroom…read more We stopped in, after hubs went rogue and already picked a carpet color alone, to see if it had been ordered (deposit was paid) bcuz I wanted him to pick a different color of the same carpet, not a different product or cancel. The woman in the shop called telling her he wanted to change the order but didn't make it clear that it wasn't a cancellation so all that came back to us naturally was that it was already ordered. Makes sense if they thought they were losing the sale, which they weren't. -1 star for no computer system in 2017! This is really inconvenient on many levels. No records for anyone to look at other than the salesperson, who in our case was Garland, and apparently she keeps all the paperwork on her person. There are no copies for the store so if you stop in like we did and she's not there you can't even look at what you bought if you don't remember the name yourself. What happens if your paperwork gets misplaced? The appointment to come out and measure went smoothly. She was not dressed as stated in previous reviews, she was professionally dressed. She was a little rough though throwing the f word around, which we are not a stranger to, just not what you'd expect from a professional service. So this coupled with reading the other reviews here has me a lot nervous. I'll update this review once the carpets are installed next month. I'm hoping for the best.

Ironically sorry fits this type service. Stop saying sorry but advocate for fixing your issues. Go to the internet and view all the complaints. If I was Home Depot I would just sell the product and not offer installs. Take a hints from Lowes.

We overheard him teaching one of his crew as they worked where he'd say things like "this way takes more time but I like to get it done the right way." We replaced carpet in the basement with tile floor and replaced the carpet with new carpet on the stairs. The three guys were respectful, efficient, and cared about the quality of their work. Price came in at the lower end of his estimate. I'd recommend Jim Finch Carpets to anyone who has flooring needs.
