They say laser can help do that which in my case it has. Seru is just so sweet and accommodating. Yes, there is sometimes a wait but that is normal. It is expected wherever you go. I don't mind waiting because the prices are amazing and the staff are amazing too. Prior to the appointment I was told to call the spa once I was in the parking lot so they could inform me when to enter the building - I really appreciate this covid safety measure to keep the waiting room clear so physical distance can be maintained inside! I was greeted by friendly and kind staff members the moment I walked into the door and my appointment started on time. The woman who did my facial took the time to examine my skin before beginning and helped me understand which skin type I have. I felt very taken care of during the facial, and felt very relaxed afterward. My skin felt very calm. Once the facial was complete, she was able to recommend products and provide me with samples to try out before committing to purchase. I really appreciated this because I have acne prone skin and it's awful to commit to buying a product that ends up causing breakouts immediately. Thus far the samples have caused no immediate reactions to my skin, yay! I booked a second appointment - the great thing about Skinprovement is all of their facials are the same length of time, so you can always switch up which facial you get depending on your skin needs on the day. Stavros deserves a hand as well in helping to communicate the best cut/style for one of my sons. Amalia's expertise made me look stunning on my wedding day! Another special lady is Laura who introduced me to the BioGel experience and encouraged me to enjoy my pedicures. Her French BioGel manicures are superior to any nail treatments I've received in the past and her pedicures last 4 weeks or longer! Another awesome young woman is Jennifer who worked diligently to get my makeup perfect in the several trial runs leading up to my wedding. But the haircut that I was given could have been cut by a person wearing a blindfold!!! All the hairstylists had very long hair and perfectly cut hair. Yet they seemed VERY happy that I left that salon butchered with MUCH shorter hair, all differently lengths and cuts randomly all over! I walked in with naturally very shiny beautiful long hair almost to my waist . I believe this was a deliberate and very vindictive act by envious women. A lot of them wear extensions. My hair cannot even be fixed unless I want a bobcut! A very professional hairstylist from another salon could do nothing to fix it. Any positive reviews for this salon I believe would only come from older people who want to the same style they always get and they will probably be treated better by the young stylists and owner who arent envious of them. Massage my feet then a wonderful massage. My mom goes to an rmt and she felt this was a better massage. I have been to a lot of rmt and spas and this was one of the better massages. You can tell the lazy spa masseuses who use their forearm and elbows to massage but my massage lady used her palms and fingers throughout. The place had soothing music with decent decor. I liked how she wiped off the oil on my body because I hate the stickiness when I leave but she didnt wipe off the oil on my neck, will have to let her know next time. The front desk person who I assume is the manager was very friendly and the masseuses were as well. They have RMT massages too so I will go for that next time. Just too bad their foot reflexology are all in private rooms. I would have preferred it to be like a pedicure place so I can chat with my mom and sister. Yes I realize how silly a comment that is. It was the most uncomfortable massage table and the roughest facial for my face. Came here with a groupon. First they leave you in the room to undress, no robe, no slippers and no instructions. So if you like walking in a strange place with no shoes, this place is for you. And if you like not having a robe... it's uncomfortable. Full body massage was some random spot treatment massage. The massage was 1/3 of the time under the blanket. So weird. They finally used oil but only massaged the back. Wtf? No foot, no front massage. Full body scrub was a back scrub. They don't wipe off the excess scrub. The worst facial ever. It was so rough, for sure causing wrinkles and breaking capillaries. That's not what you want when you get a facial. Steam was on while wiping the face roughly, so no actual steaming happened. They did not remove blackhead or whitehead. They put lotion or whatever else on top of your eyelid so when I opened my eyes, whatever was on my skin went in my eyes. I could not even see after the treatment. My eyes were blurry. I complained. I had to sit in my car, in the cold, waiting for some semblance of continuous non-blurry vision in order to drive. Even while driving, moments of blurriness as I blinked came and went. Do not go here for a spa experience. Go here if you want to have a non relaxing time and have your body maltreated and wanting a real massage and facial. Also, co-workers knocked on the door and they talk to each other during your so called luxury spa treatment. I tipped anyway, but if there was ever a time to leave a paltry tip because you had the most horrible, unsatisfactory, misleading, maltreatment of your body which caused physical harm, this would be it. But, I tipped only for customary purposes and even then, I absolutely regret it because it was horrible here.
