Being a Saturday lunch time in the summer, Tenby was buzzing and we were happy and surprised to be seated fairly quickly, especially being that we had a large party. Our 2 hour hike from neighboring Saundersfoot left us salivating for food (and a beer!). Now being an ex pat there are certain things in life that are constantly craved and desired, one such example being a good old fashioned pie made with the perfect puff pastry housing; well, The Qube gave that to me and for that I am forever thankful!!! My steak and kidney pie was nothing short of amazing, the perfect flavor, the perfect puff pastry and served precisely the right way, with fat chips and peas. All sorts of deliciousness graced our table and everyone walked away raving, but my memory simply goes to my pie every time. Toasting your sandwich does take about a minute or two but it's worth it! The women who helped my group were very kind and patient. When you ordered your sandwich, they were on it! Food was reasonable and service was great. It's two floors and you order and pay at the top floor with a huge parking lot in the back. Strange little place that fed us okay.

They do sell other things than ice cream, hot drinks, milkshakes, cakes etc so it can cater for anybody for a rest or a snack. The decor, when we last went, was ok and it was clean enough. I would have liked to been able to sit on a high stool at the bar like you can in American places. Every time we go I always think I'd like to open one myself. The shop stocks homemade and prepacked sandwiches, pastries, cakes and sausage rolls. All of these are hand made by the bakers in the morning and if you ask they will heat them up for you. The cakes are normally quite traditional with old favorites such as crumbles and swiss rolls. These come packaged up so you can keep them fresh at home for a few days. The staff are always friendly and the prices are very resonably for such good quality produce.

This means that the place where it is situated is quite a bad place to walk to as it is on a very busy roundabout and would take quite a lot of nerve to do so." Yes, it is on a busy roundabout, arguably the biggest in Haverfordwest. And yes I agree that it takes a lot of nerve to walk across the remarkably busy road to get there and is quite dangerous. Therefore I recommend taking the "subway" which is a little, well-lit walkway located in the furthest corner of the carpark (opposite corner to the other stores located on the site, Halfords and Currys) which runs underneath the roundabout and main road, and leads you quite safely to and from the town center, no car-dodging required. "The shop is open twenty four hours a day and seems to be fully stocked most of the time." No, it's not. It closes at either 8pm or 9pm Monday to Saturday (not 10pm on Saturday, like Tesco's) depending on the day. I'm not chasing opening times for you round the internet, dear reader, you can do that yourself :p The opening hours are true as of this date from 2 very reliable sources: My brother who works there, and my Mother who goes down there pretty much every night without fail at either 7.30pm or 8.30pm to buy obscene amounts of 9 pence reduced end of day chicken :P Apart from that, everything else rings true :p
