I would not recommend this firm to anyone dealing with a family law case…read more During one of the most difficult periods of my mom's life, her case was repeatedly bounced between different attorneys. Every time a new lawyer was assigned, she was billed to "get them up to speed" on information she had already provided. That alone felt excessive and unnecessary. On top of that, she was pressured into settling when she did not feel fully comfortable doing so. Instead of feeling supported and strategically advised, she felt rushed and steered toward a resolution that benefited efficiency over her best interests. We are now carefully reviewing the billing statements and are extremely concerned about the mediation charges. The amount billed for mediation -- and preparation surrounding it -- appears inflated and unreasonable given what actually occurred. Family law clients are vulnerable. They deserve transparency, consistency, and ethical billing practices. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. If you value your case and your money, I strongly recommend asking very detailed questions about billing practices and attorney assignments before retaining this firm.

Attorney Brent Hill is like that one friend you have, who instead of telling you what you want to…read morehear, tells you what you need to hear. If you are lucky, you understand exactly what I am talking about. This is a well-known quality of Mr. Hill within the Courts in which he practices, and when you walk into that Courtroom with Brent Hill by your side, your representation by him immediately carries that credibility, whether it be criminal or civil, which I can attest to, because I have had to experience both. My representation by Attorney Brent Hill hasn't always been easy. Because of his strong demeanor and directness, I even considered seeking out other council at times; but through it all, I came to understand and appreciate how lucky I was that I hadn't been let go by him. I'm now glad neither happened, because I currently retain the attorney I believe to be the absolute best legal representation a person can possess. Brent Hill forced me to become a better client, and in doing so he made me a better person, which ultimately led to better outcomes in both the Courtroom and in my life. Brent Hill doesn't sugar coat things, and you won't always like what he tells you, but if you are willing to set aside your ego and listen to what he says to you, then I can personally attest to you that you are in the hands of the absolute best legal representation attainable.

The one thing I appreciated the most was that neither one of them EVER forgot there was a child involved and the child's best interest was at the forefront. Julia is very knowledgeable in family law and was able to explain what was going on in words that I could understand. Jennifer was always there to update me or answer any questions. Julia also worked very well with the attorney's I hired in the other 2 states. Both of the out of state attorney's commented on her professionalism and competency. My case had a favorable outcome and I do not think that would have happened with another attorney. They both remained dedicated to my case through out the entire 2 years.
