When my father passed away in Feb. 2018, I began the tedious process of Probate. I interviewed 12 different Probate Real Estate Specialist as part of my due diligence. In the sea of Specialist, I was lucky to find ALEX VARGAS! I started to navigate the process of selling my fathers house with no clue of any of the particulars or legalities of that process. Alex is a true professional and knows everything regarding selling real property and specializes in Probate properties. I can't emphasize enough how HONEST and FAIR Alex is! During this emotionally trying time, Alex was beyond patient and caring! He listened and showed such compassion at this difficult time! He maintained a balance between seasoned professional and empathetic human being beautifully. Because there was decades of accumulated "stuff" in my Dads house, Alex agreed to get rid of the last few items in the house at the sale. He had also offered with donating to charities the things we could not sell. Alex goes over and beyond what a normal Real Estate Gent would do! He is responsive and gets things done. Even during periods when I felt overwhelmed by the court probate process, Alex saved the day and streamlined the sale of my fathers home by providing all the necessary paperwork so I did not have any additional expense and time wasted! I am completely happy with the hard work Alex put into the sale of my fathers house and the stress relief he provided to me. All I can say is thank you God for sending Alex my way! This review is LONG overdue! We worked with Alex on a family probate home in the Tustin Foothills. We first met Alex about four months before we signed on with him. In that time he made himself 100% available as a seasoned probate real estate specialist to answer any questions and concerns. When we at last signed on the dotted line, Alex jumped in with sleeves rolled up (literally). Alex joined the front-line helping my husband and me work our way through the PILES of objects, clothing, furniture, etc etc left behind after our loved one's unexpected passing. It was an overwhelming job (posting two succinct photos to illustrate the task), and he guided us though every decision, financial and otherwise, that were seemingly endless and many were risk taking. Alex maintained his steady, reliable nature through nearly a year of massive clean-up, massive remodeling to final sale (which came in very near his original estimate!) We are so appreciative to have found Alex at a very stressful time of our lives, he really proved his integrity, honesty and sincerity from start to finish!!! Thank you Alex!!! read more

Alex Vargas-RE/MAX Premier Realty - BEFORE ALEX!!! :-(((( - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Irvine, California

See all

There are not enough stars in the sky to rate how great Alex was. Not only was he great with helping me with my fathers probate and the sell of our family home. He was always available and helpful in everyway. It almost seemed that I was his only client, the personal one on one care he gave me especially since I was not in California put my mind at ease. Thank you Alex!! You are the best! read more

Alex was awesome with helping my family rent our condo out. Since we currently live 400 miles away, we met with him in person and immediately had no doubts that he would take care of us. As soon as he received the listing information, he researched the property and discussed our options/what to expect/the process, etc. We felt very comfortable with leaving him in charge of our condo and he didn't disappoint. He got us applicants within a few weeks and went over the pros and cons of each with us - he was extremely responsive and, although we had difficulties with the other agent, he remained professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Alex and would definitely use him again for renting and/or selling. :) read more

Alex Vargas-RE/MAX Premier Realty - Alex receiving yet ANOTHER award for his stellar work! - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Irvine, California

After my father passed away, I wanted to fix up his house before selling it. I found Alex, who was able to connect me with a team of people to help with the renovation. He acted as a go-between during the remodeling process and was always incredibly accessible, communicative and positive. He solved any little problems that arose and always kept such a positive attitude. When it came time to put the house on the market, I was doubtful about the price he suggested selling it for. It turned out that we got more than asking for the house, and it went into escrow within about two weeks! Throughout escrow, he was helpful and responsive, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It wasn't an easy process because of what my goals were, but Alex smoothed the way at every step. I highly recommend his services. And he couldn't be a nicer guy. read more

We chose Alex Vargas as our realtor because of his long-time presence in Orange County and strong understanding of Irvine market dynamics. Alex was very patient and responsive (seemingly available 24/7 via text, email and cell) to our needs during the sale of our family home of 38 years and he smoothly and efficiently handled all of the little things that inevitably come up during the sale of a home. After only 12 days on the market, Alex sold our family home for well over asking price ($26k over!) AND we closed a little earlier than planned. We are so happy with Alex and would not hesitate to recommend him. What a pro - thank you Alex! read more

After interviewing a few agents I chose Alex because he seemed to be the most qualified and passionate about his job. Through several months of preparing and then putting my house on the market he went above and beyond. He's extremely knowledgeable about the market and helpful with suggestions and options without being pushy - I appreciate low-key. Always pleasant and professional. Available 24/7 by phone or email for any question or concern, including nervous rambles. Understands the enormity of selling a home, and on the other side the huge decision of buying one - he took the stress out of the process for all involved. When I'm ready to buy my next place I'll be using him as well. read more

As other yelpers have already indicated, Alex is A+. We are moving back to CA from out of state; not our first dance with home buying but the first in The Golden State! As out of state buyers, we were limited on time and needed a lot of attention and support. Alex excels at customer service- "always on" and always replies. He dropped everything to coordinate and get us into homes when we had a last minute opportunity to come in to town; made sure we saw a good variety of homes to figure out what we wanted. After a couple more long weekend house hunting trips, we found "the one" and Alex and his team helped us through the process remotely without a hitch. Others have mentioned how they feel like family working with Alex, we felt the same- I think it helps that he's a bit of a foodie. We enjoyed discussing houses and strategies over a good bite and drink, helped us feel comfortable expressing our thoughts, needs, and concerns. Also ended up with a good list of places to visit again! Also found this Alex knows everyone- he has a great network in the real estate industry and was able to put us in contact with some great contractors to help us update a few things in the house. The deal has been closed for 3wks and Alex still checks in now and again to see how our transition and the work on the house is going- to me that's a statement of who he is- cares about his clients for more than just the deal. Work with Alex- you won't be disappointed. read more

What stands out most about Alex is his integrity. Through our process of finding a home we could count on Alex to give us wise and honest counsel, even when it meant continuing the search. He was patient, knowledgeable, extremely responsive and just comes across and a kind and genuine human. It's clear that he has an authentic desire to help people find the right home. Thank you for everything, Alex. read more

"Alex went above and beyond". That sums up our experience with Alex over the past few months. We recently used him for a sale and purchase of a new home for my family and the entire experience was awesome. First of all we went above asking price in our sale and had one of the highest homes EVER sold in our tract. Secondly, he negotiated a killer deal for us on our new home. Thirdly, working with Alex was literally like working with family. I know it is cliche to say, but with Alex it truly was. Other realtors we have used in the past, once the offer is accepted, they hand you over to escrow and you never hear from them again. Not with Alex as he was in constant communication with us......daily! My family and I cannot recommend him enough! read more

Really awesome experience with Alex. This was our first home and first realtor experience everything went perfectly. We were never kept in the dark and he would always respond in a timely manner. He found us a great property that was just perfect we still love it now and are excited for all the possibilities. And even after closing he was available to help us out with an issue we were having. Thank you Alex for your great service and all your time. You really made this the best experience possible for us. read more

I wish I could give Alex 10 stars....he was awesome! Couldn't have had a better experience selling our house. He was right there with us every step of the way....explained everything we didn't understand so that we could understand it. We really had a great pain free experience with Alex! He is the best!! read more

Alex helped us sell our home and buy our new home simultaneously. He was always available to us for questions, didn't matter what time. He went over and beyond. He actually had 2 people come to the new home before we bought to give us an estimate on pool equipment, and another for a remodel on the kitchen and bath. When I was feeling on edge about anything, he was always there with his positive attitude and willingness to do whatever needed to be done to make me more comfortable. So happy we went with him as our realtor. He's now become more like family now then just our realtor. I would highly recommend Alex! read more

As usual, Alex did a tip top job in finding a quality tenant quickly and then processed the new rental promptly and efficiently. Thanks for doing a great job. Highly recommended. read more

I would say working with Alex while buying and/or selling a home is like having a best friend you completely trust having your back during the process. This guy has sold two of my houses, helped me buy three houses and does it all while staying calm and professional even in the most stressful situations. Even when I moved to the east coast he helped me through the process and guided me to the correct decisions even though he knew I was using a local Realtor! I can't recommend his services enough! You will not be disappointed. read more

If your looking for a reliable, honest and knowledgable agent then Alex is your guy. He was referred to me through a friend and didn't disappoint. I was a picky buyer on a budget so even after changing counties for the third time to try and find the perfect house Alex was awesome. He never made me feel like I was asking too many question or stupid ones at that (even though I'm sure I asked plenty of them). Even after escrow closed he continued to help answer question graciously. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Alex! read more

I have been meaning to write this review for over a year now. I honestly cannot speak more highly of Alex. Had my doubts at first since I was dealing with an estate sale AND I lived out of town however Alex really stepped up. Home had major issues but he took control and assisted in locating the right people to take care of the work for great prices and in a timely manner. Always stayed in communication and was super accessible. Also had a great team working with him. Had lots of hiccups (none related to his service) but couldn't have done it without him! read more

As a first time home buyer, Alex was extremely patient and made the process easy for me and my family to deal with. Alex was always available to help when we needed it and answered my insane phone calls pretty much all the time. While looking for a place in Orange, Alex was very knowledgeable about the area and always up to date about whatever was available. He was great at working with my schedule to show me different places week after week until we found the one that was absolutely perfect for us. Alex is very patient, very positive, and very willing to work around whatever needs to be done. Alex did everything he could for me, and I could not be happier in my new home !! I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking to purchase in for the first time or otherwise. read more

Alex has been great to work with. I am in the same price range of many first time buyer's, making it a difficult market for me. He was willing and able to put forth the extra time & effort needed in order to find a me a great opportunity. Responsiveness is very important to me, and he fits the bill. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to buy their first home. read more

Alex Vargas, went above and beyond what I would have ever expected from an agent! I had very specific search needs over what easily became a 24 month period. Alex was the constant in our effort. He was always professional, making sure that my priorities were his priorities. Alex was very responsive to calls, to emails and text messages. Alex was a complete solution with his network of lenders, appraisers, escrow officers which has been harnessed through his vast experience in the industry. I could not have asked for anything more. Alex supported the identification of homes with me, went through my sophisticated lending process and we closed flawlessly. He incorporated my strategy and we leveraged his expertise through the process. Alex always listened to me and considering my input. I am so thankful for Alex's effort to put my family in the home that we needed and wanted. I look forward to working with Alex for all of my real estate needs going forward. read more

Alex really surprised my husband and I. First he got us 15K more than we expected. When our first buyer fell out of escrow, he found a new buyer within a week by strategically calling all interested parties that had seen the property. The second buyer offered even 5k more than the first. Sure, there was a 2 week delay in closing escrow, but there are unexpected circumstances in every closing. We closed escrow this past week and couldn't be happier with the experience with had with Alex. Most important, he is a great communicator; always stays in contact with his client. You never feel in the dark during the buying/selling process. Second, he works really, really hard to please his clients and get them the best deal. We highly recommend him!! read more
