Alex Tutoring Solutions was founded at the bequest of the Architecture students of Pratt Institute in 1999. Alex was noted for an exceptional gift to explain complex architectural and engineering concepts in a simple and comprehensive way. His tutoring style is reminiscent of an ancient philosopher Socrates, in a way that a student arrives to a conclusion by himself, thus fully comprehending and mastering the material. The service was so successful that Alex was offered positions with the school and continued to serve the student community even after graduation. He successfully helped multiple undergraduate and graduate students with their studies in all subjects at prestigious Architecture and Interior design schools of New York such as Columbia University, Pratt Institute, Parsons, FIT, City College.

Meet the Business Owner: Aleksandr Z.

Aleksandr Zhornitskiy was born in Kiev, Ukraine. From 1985, Alex studied Art in all of its forms, culminating in a victory at a Kiev's "Young artists" competition. As his art's studies continued, Alex enrolled in the School for Advanced Studies for the study of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science. He graduated with honors in 1998. The same year, at the age of 16, he moved to the United States. In 1999, after taking classes at the Art Students League of New York, Alex enrolled in Pratt Institute, School of Architecture in a five-year professional degree program. After graduating in 2004 with honors, Alex worked in the field of Architecture with various firms to gain practical experience, while tutoring students at Pratt Institute. In 2008, Alex became a full time tutor fulfilling a key role in assisting Art, Architectural and Interior Design students in New York City. Alex's tutoring work is considered very valuable and highly successful by Pratt faculty.
