We ordered some coffee while we waited for our main course. I ordered a plate of shrimp, as well as a pizza with shrimp and italian sausage. The girlfriend ordered a simple cheese pizza. The wait time was a bit longer than expected, but fortunately the wait was well worth it. We also got here in good time, as this place got busy shortly after they took our order. The shrimp plate was delicious, and the pizza was great. Seeing as we were pretty famished, I ate most of the pizza in that sitting. I had two cups of caffe americano afterward to ward off the itis. The place may be small, and the wait may be a little longer, but the food was decent and worth it. The staff is decent, and the place is kept clean and run well.

The spaghetti carbonara I ordered last night was awful, with the little bits of meat burned quite literally to a crisp. I probably should have sent it back. The woman server was good until she disappeared into the back to join her fellow waiters for dinner and it took forever to get the bill. The new male waiters are unfriendly, actually downright surly. The original waiters in the past were so nice and friendly. And the prices are now much higher than I remembered. Luigi, where are you? Don't make me go to the Osteria around the corner.

The majority of Italian restaurants are located in a different colonia outside of Centro Historico. I thought that the service was fairly adequate, and it was pretty tylical from my experiences in the city. I ordered the simple spaghetti bolognesa which is one of my trusted Italiam dishes. This did take a little time for them to orelare, and the reataurant wasn't that busy, but when they did bring it to my table, I was more than dying of hunger. I thought it tasted pretty good, however the bolognesa sauce was somewhat watery. Still the sauce was exceptional in my opinion. Everything else about the reataurant was great and the inside was modern and clean.
