Payment was also super easy through their electronic system so I didn't have to have a check on hand and the receipt came straight to my inbox. A neighbor recommended Alpha & Omega Home Improvements, and we called them for an estimate. We were so impressed with the owner, Jaime Trujillo, that we hired him immediately. Jaime did an amazingly beautiful job on the floors, and over the course of the month he worked on them, we had several conversations with him about other jobs he had worked on. As a result of those conversations we hired him to paint the entire interior of the house, followed by several other projects including tearing down an old wooden deck, and the various painting and carpentry tasks related to that project. Jaime is a superbly skilled craftsman who takes great pride in his work, and he has an attitude and work ethic that is rare these days. Now almost 18 months later we are still talking about him (fondly).

While walking through our house explaining his thoughts, we had mentioned that there was a room that had paneling that we eventually wanted to get removed and re-textured. Ryan offered to do a "float" wall over the paneling at a low cost, saving us both time and money down the road. It took Ryan about a week to complete his work (he had about 1200 square feet of popcorn to remove, plus the float wall in our house). All other contractors quoted 2-3 weeks for this kind of work, and at double his price. He even patched some areas along the walls in the house as he was competing his work. We did encounter a few hiccups along the way (some staining came through the ceilings and a few of the seams were rising on his float wall), but Ryan came back immediately to fix these, even though he had already moved onto another project. Overall, my boyfriend and I were beyond impressed with Ryan. His level of craftmanship exceeded our expectations, and he was quick and very professional. He also had excellent communication - at the end of each day he would let us know how it went or if he ran into any snags in his work. If you are looking to get any kind of drywall work done, give Ryan a call!
