Jun was able to come and fix and install proper hosing/venting for our dryer and resolve a lighting issue less than 24 hours after requesting his services. We recently had two other handyman come to work on the items, one quoted us far more than Jun charged and the other couldn't fix or install the items and ultimately apologized and left. That being said, Jun arrived and was able to complete the tasks in a short amount of time and for a reasonable price. He was very polite, efficient, transparent about pricing, respectful of cleaning up after each install, and dog-friendly! (I have two golden retrievers that love to make new friends, despite repeated attempts to keep them from entering his work space) Jun was a great sport about it and gave them some pets when he was done. Although Jun was on time, he unfortunately did not have experience installing a dishwasher. His $50 per hour is too high for a handyman. I should had him provide an estimate for the job instead. Ended up paying $250 for dishwasher installation, which is much higher than RC Willey. I requested that Jun complete some work at one of my rentals and he ended up causing more damage then work he completed. He was cutting out holes in the sheetrock for no reason and he supposedly fixed an electrical issue that ended messing up the electrical in several areas. He guarantees his work, so if for any reason he needs to come back, he doesn't charge for the return visit (I haven't haven't had to call him back though). I hired Jun to repair a kitchen faucet that was not functioning properly. He was very punctual. He fabricated some spacers to reduce the gap that prevented the faucet from being tightly secured to the granite top. He also corrected the problem causing the water hose to separate from the faucet. He demanded me to pay $10 more than the agreed price ($200 to remove a microwave and install a simple under cabinets hood range) because he used a few strips of his tape on my duct. Besides that, I had to help him to remove a heavy under cabinets microwave by holding it while he was unscrewing it and then moving it down on the floor - he needs to have a helper with him instead of relying on his clients to help him carry a heavy item. In addition, he didnt install brackets as required by the installation instruction, but screwed the range hood directly to the cabinets. I've asked him why he didn't use the brackets, he replied that he does not do that. Another problem is that my new range hood has a low air flow in both speeds. I suspect the duct was not properly connected to the duct, that is behind the wall - for some reason he separated the visible part of the duct from the main pipe (even though it was not in his way ) and probably failed to connect it properly. I will have another handy man to check it. I feel that I wasted the $210 on this guy's work. read more

Jun was clearly not up to what I thought would be two simple jobs. I had a leaking wall mount faucet and a leaking garbage disposal that had leaked into the motor and created a dead short. New wall mount faucet bought and new disposal bought. Jun was unable to remove the faucet. (He used channel locks instead of a pipe wrench) He attempted to fix the leak, but it didn't work. So on to the disposal. I tried to explain to him how I wanted the disposal installed (I wanted the dishwasher to drain into the disposal as instructed rather than into a "y" junction). He either ignored me or didn't understand me even though I mentioned it more than once. The disposal was installed, but it leaked! Then he tried to tell me that it was leaking because of a magnetic ring that sits around the outside of the disposal's throat! I let him know I was quite dissatisfied, so he replaced the magnetic ring and tightened (I guess) some bolts and supposedly the disposal no longer leaks. Jun was in my home for 4 hours! Not the kind of work I would expect. read more
