This is for the amazing Dr. Soffici. I am forever grateful for the wonderful Dr. Soffici and his staff. He is so knowledgeable, you can trust him with your life. He's very intelligent and you know you're in good hands and your pregnancy is well taken care of it for being with such AN AMAZING DOCTOR. I was referred by Dr. Rashti and I'm grateful for the good care I got for the few weeks before delivery. Thank you so much Dr. Soffici, you are one of a kind! Your knowledge and efforts are truly appreciated read more

Dr. Soffici is such a wonderful doctor! He is very attentive to every patient and is extremely knowledgeable. He takes his time showing and explaining ultrasounds. Some times there is a small wait for non stress tests but they do their best to get everyone in and out. read more

Incredible high risk doctor! I had a twin pregnancy and Dr. Soffici was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and had great bedside manners. I experienced complications pre-birth and felt completely safe under his care/guidance to the cottage staff. Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Soffici is the best! I love going to see him! He's very down to earth and friendly! He explains everything thoroughly!

I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF THE EXPERIENCE during my last pregnancy - except when I met with Dr. Datell or Dr. Soffici because I wanted to see my baby. You're in and out of your actual appointment within 15 minutes. At first I thought the office staff was just rude, until I showed up to the next visit with my VERY white husband. All of a sudden, they were sweet as pie and apologetic for the long wait. Expect to wait about 40-60 minutes from your scheduled appointment time. My appointment was always the first one of the day yet they still manage to be an hour late. The one I showed up with my husband to was during Fiesta and the Dr. was late because of Fiesta traffic on a Friday morning - they kept apologizing for the delays. I didn't have him come to the 3rd appointment - the office staff was RUDE as can be. So I made him come to the last one and SWEET AS PIE. I will tell you how they greet their white clients is totally different (you notice these things when you're stuck in a waiting room for over an hour). I had to go again recently - the wait was still an hour late. No big deal. Today - 2nd appointment - I was escorted out because they think I am showing symptoms. I cleared my throat twice while waiting in the office - Their office manager came out and said that per CDC guidelines, someone like me isn't allowed to be in their office. I was too stunned by her accusations and left. I didn't have a fever, no runny nose, nothing. Just cleared my throat twice and was accused of having a persistent cough. My girlfriend asked me if they had me leave because I was Asian. So I called the office back if I was asked to leave because they suspect I have the "Chinese flu". I asked her to have the doctor call me so we can discuss my experience (no call still). No one has responded - I highly doubt anyone will. Update - it's been over a week - and I'm still fit as a fiddle. And no response (as expected). Saving myself a few thousand from not having to go here. I'll be redirected to another facility to have my scans done. read more

Dr.Soffici is great, very informative and friendly. He explains things in a way to easily understand & addresses concerns. Front staff was friendly and the appointments have been on time & quick but enough time to discuss baby's growth/concerns. First meeting was with Dr.Dattel & she is just a grouchy lady. You can tell she doesn't want to be there or gives off a bothered vibe. She shook my stomach to try and get my baby to move his hand from his face so she can get an ultrasound picture. She didn't ask or warn me she was going to do so. I was not okay with it. Not a big fan of my meeting with her. read more

Bottom Line: Waited an hour for our appointment which was the first one after their office-wide lunch break. I have a job as well. I came down here on my lunch break, all of which was wasted in a waiting room. I'm not exactly sure why you have appointments and schedules if they won't be honored. My wife and I have lots of friends that are moms and they all say the exact same thing about this office; ALWAYS late but the actual appointment only takes 15 minutes. The entire situation is extremely frustrating when after 45 minutes we finally are shown the room and the lady tells us the doctor is still in a meeting?! I don't know if the office is just disorganized, very casual about things or just extremely busy but being an hour late for an appointment is unacceptable in most professions. If I was an hour late to an appointment, I would have been replaced before arriving. Yes, doctor Soffici is very good and fast but that just makes it more confusing as to why they are so behind. If you're consistently late seating appointments wouldn't it be easy to predictably schedule things differently, if anything out of respect for the people sitting in the office for hours? read more

Dr. Soffici is amazing. He was so patient and thorough and made us feel like our baby was the most important part of his day. After our ultrasound we waited in the waiting room for our DVD to finish up, and while we looked at the photos, I thought I saw a cleft lip on our baby. I asked the nurse if I could see Dr S for a brief moment before we left and I asked him about my fear. Not only did he assure me it was a shadow on the baby's face, he brought me back in the room and did another 5 minutes of ultrasound scanning to show us several angles showing the baby's lip was perfectly formed. He said he wouldn't feel right having us leave without being sure that all was well. Dr Soffici truly loves his job and it is very evident in how he treats his patients. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!! read more

Pregnant with my first baby, came for 3D ultrasound and everything went great, doctor, staff and office are excellent! Last night had to go to hospital to be checked late at night and Dr Soffici came to perform an ultrasound to confirm everything is as it should be. Very thankful and grateful to Dr Soffici for taking the time out of his night to put me at ease. We are fortunate to have doctors in Santa Barbara who devote their lives to their patients. read more

Amazing doctor and staff. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. Their scheduling system can be a little funny, as in it deleted one of my appointments, but they still saw me. And yeah, the wait time is long...but he is often called to see/admit a patient into the hospital, but if you call ahead and ask how long the wait is, they'll tell you so can plan accordingly. I had no problems with insurance or billing. read more

I really love his bedside manner. He's great. He seems to be the only doctor in town that has evening appointments (which makes it so my partner can get off work and join me for the ultrasounds.) He is very thorough and knowledgeable. If you have a high risk pregnancy for any reason, I would go to him as a second opinion. I failed the Glucose Tolerance test at 24 weeks, and was told by my primary OB that I referred me to Sansum Endocrinology which frantically diagnosed me with Gestational Diabetes and had to go onto insulin right away. Of course I would do anything for my baby, but something didn't seem right, as my blood sugar wasn't that high to begin with. Sansum kept making me feel silly or reckless for asking for so much information, so I searched for a second opinion. Dr. Soffici reviewed my blood sugar levels, test results, and reassured me that I was right to be alarmed by their diagnosis. Over 1/3 of people who fail the glucose tolerance test have false positives. I already eat an extremely well-balanced organic diet and my body isn't used to being bombarded by corn syrup as the test requires. The insulin they tried to put me on was only approved for pregnant women in the last year, and that was very unsettling to me. Together we created an action plan that kept my baby well-monitored and me well taken care of without unnecessary insulin. I feel much more empowered and comfortable with medical interventions. Even if I do end up having GD down the road, I will be confident in that diagnosis and continue with our medical plan as laid out. I can't tell you how reassuring it is to not have needless medical interventions while pregnant!! I realize gestational diabetes is a serious concern and does happen to many women who require insulin. I'm not trying to get out of treatment, I just wanted verification of the diagnosis if my blood sugars seemed quite normal outside of the test. He's truly amazing. Oh, and yes, I have waited quite a while for all my appointments, but his office provides snacks and water for you while you wait. He's a very popular doctor who does a thorough job, so I don't mind waiting at all- especially because I seem to always wait for a doctor in this town and almost none of them are as thorough as he is. read more

I was suppose to see Dr Soffici for the fetal scan and they changed my Appt with Dr Bonnie Datell. She was nothibg like Dr Soffici only talking about whatever was in her mind except any mention about my baby... at all... I had to ask her and she was like not even happy to share what it would have been a detail explanation of how my baby was measuring or weighting or something... and then the bill was $2000 OMG who are these people?? I really would like everyone to stop going to this office and or turn them in about the horrible service and outrageous pricing... I will never go back there again!!! Dr. Soffici is notorious for running late. His office over books appointments and when asked if he is on-time will tell you he is when in reality he is not. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and wasn't shown into a room until an hour AFTER my appointment time. The doctor was in the room barely 5 minutes and I have a recording of the ultrasound to prove it, too. The ultrasound was performed in the most uncomfortable and painful position possible for me to be in. And don't even mention the crap shot of a picture we were given. I want to know how I was supposed to make the announcement of our baby with an ultrasound picture that looked like a 3 week-old blob instead of a 6 month old baby. I am still really pissed about that, too. My advice to you, find another doctor. If you have to go with Soffici, plan for long waits and little personal time. I'm glad I stayed home for my L&D because I wouldn't have trusted him anywhere near me when I was in labor. read more

A++++ FANTASTIC doctor!!! The office staff are VERY friendly and accommodating to a busy professionals schedule!! The office is clean and welcoming and I was very comfortable!! Dr. Soffici has a gentle and kind character and explains everything in detail as he does your procedure. He answered all of my questions and even quoted statistics on all of the recent medical literature!! As a nervous first time mom this was very comforting to me!! His nurses were also very friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had. For those of you that are upset that you had to wait......I had to wait about 20 minutes as well---this is STANDARD in the medical community for a well respected A+ busy doctor in the community. To tell the truth-- I would have waited OVER an hour just to see him!!! He is that good!!! read more

Never had an issue and have been through 2 pregnancies with Soffici. I saw him at 8:30pm as his staff waited to accommodate me and he still was happy and personable after a long days work. No complaints and I would highly recommend him. His equipment is amazing and top of the line! read more

If you are deemed to have a high risk pregnancy Dr. Soffici is the guy you want on your side. He is very calm and personable, he may not have a lot of time to spend during appointments but write your questions down and be prepared for your appointment. I wasn't a "high risk" patient from the gate and only went to Dr. Soffici for my ultrasound but he was the on call doctor when I went into labor. He made me feel like we were a team and we were going to have this baby. I had a hard labor I think 22 hours or something and almost had to have a C-section but Dr. Soffici pulled me through and I had my daughter. That was over 10 years ago, I would highly recommend him, I think he is a phenomenal Doctor and an exceptional person. read more

Same problem as another reviewer: they changed my appointment without telling me even after I called to confirm it. I absolutely did not make an afternoon appointment, there's no way my husband or I could have made that. When I arrived they told me I didn't have a 930, but a 4pm. Absolute bullshit. Arranged to take off work and meet my husband there for no reason. Find another doctor for your ultrasound, worth the drive to Ventura or wherever if it means making an appointment that means something. read more

Beyond bad.  I don't even know where to start.  Stay away from this place.  First of all Bonnie is beyond unprofessional.  I am 34 years old and she spent the entire ultra sound (our first ever) scolding me for waiting so long to have kids like it was something I evilly planned.  She also talked the entire rest of the time about all the issues that my body would have (not could have) since I am "geriatric."  Never said a word about our baby who was so cute on the screen.  Just talked the whole time about the fears I should be having. Also, the bill for our 3 month ultrasound was $2000!!!  And the 20 week I hear is $5000.  This is an outrage.  Spare yourself. Also the front desk staff won't tell you what anything costs and acts like you are ridiculous for even asking and said to call my insurance even when I asked for a cash rate.  A great alternative is Jadali Daryoush MD in Ventura.  I went to him for my second and the experience was night and day. read more

Amazing doctor. I was a high risk pregnancy and older (43). Dr Soffici was kind, knowledgeable and everything you'd want.

At 28 weeks, I was dropped by Dr. Soffici and his girlfriend, Susan Regenhardt. She was my midwife and he was her back-up doctor. 7 months pregnant and abandoned with no prenatal care. You must be thinking that I did something horribly offensive to deserve such treatment. All I did was express my concerns about Dr. Soffici's dismissive 5 minute ultrasound. That's right. And I didn't even speak to Dr. Soffici about it! I spoke to his girlfriend, my midwife (where I'm sure there's some sort of patient confidentiality agreement). This is my third pregnancy and my first with a midwife. I quickly learned that aside from taking urine samples and checking blood pressure, there were no ultrasounds available to measure growth during office visits. So, I was really looking forward to my 19 week 3D scan with Soffici. I brought my husband and two kids (ages 11 and 8), excited to see our new baby and to make sure she was growing properly. The appointment lasted no more than 5 minutes (the ultrasound DVD proves it). I'm guessing the baby was in bad position, but the doctor said nothing. He just kept printing out strange and horrific photos. My daughter even asked if the baby had skin yet. And then, Dr. Soffici's nurse came in, said he had a phone call, and the appointment was over. As he left, I asked if the baby was ok and he barked back, "I would tell you if there was a problem." Good to know, I thought. The whole thing was so odd. When I was pregnant with my other two children the 3D ultrasounds lasted over 45 minutes. And we got amazing photos of both kids. At my next appointment with the midwife, I shared the disappointing experience. She seemed shocked and assured me that Dr. Soffici would do another ultrasound, if I desired. I was concerned, however, because he was her backup doctor. And I couldn't help but think that if something went wrong during labor and Dr. Soffici recommended a C-section, my first thought would be that he was late for a dinner reservation. In the end, I felt that since I had given birth naturally twice before, it probably wouldn't come to that. The midwife recommended that I go in for a 28 week scan. I called Dr. Soffici's office right away to schedule the ultrasound, but they couldn't get me in until 31 weeks. I accepted the appointment. What else could I do? He's the only guy in town with the technology. Then, a week later, on a Saturday, we received a fedex from Dr. Soffici stating that he was canceling my ultrasound appointment and terminating care. He stated that since he was Susan's back-up doctor, she too would be terminating care. Abandoned, I had to find another doctor quickly. It took me numerous calls and texts to retrieve my records and I still don't have reimbursement for any part of Susan Regenhardt's $4000 midwife fee (she does not take insurance). In the end, I know it's for the best -- I wouldn't want Susan or Dr. Soffici delivering my baby. I'm seeing a doctor in LA now. And I can't tell you how wonderful if feels to be cared for by a doctor who really cares. I can't believe I was willing to settle for a mediocre midwife and doctor just to stay in Santa Barbara. My advice to you - go to LA. And if you hire Dr. Soffici, whatever you do, don't complain! read more

My husband and I were referred to Dr. Soffici for U/S and NSTs with our first pregnancy. We were not sure what to expect, since he was the only Perinatologist in the SB area, and I am considered "high-risk". To be honest, I came in expecting to resist being labeled and lectured (welcome to the fun world of someone considered "high-risk"). We were BLOWN AWAY by the PROFESSIONAL, INFORMATIVE, PATIENT and CARING way in which we have been treated. Dr. Soffici ALWAYS takes the time to address all of our questions and concerns, despite his very busy and demanding schedule. He is very detailed and thorough, and will go out of his way to tell us how and why certain measurements are being done and what they mean, citing studies and providing us with all the necessary information. We NEVER feel that he is too busy for us, as some of the reviewers have posted, and we NEVER feel that we are inconveniencing him or his staff with our questions. Quite the opposite. In fact, I find that I much prefer going to appointments at Dr. Soffici's office (whether the U/S or the NSTs) than to my regular OB appointments, where I feel that I am on a "conveyer belt" kind of system and covered head to toe in labels. At Dr. Soffici's, I find a much more KNOWLEDGEABLE, INFORMED and NURTURING environment. To this first-time-mom-to-be, that is truly worth its weight in gold!! Highly recommended!! PS. In answer to several of negative reviews re: waiting time: Yes, Dr. S. is busy. Yes, sometimes you do have to wait. Yes, we have had to wait too and waiting while pregnant is even less fun than normal waiting. But please GET OVER YOURSELF. The standard of care and attention you get is well worth a little wait, especially since Dr. Soffici is a HIGHLY TRAINED SPECIALIST. The staff are VERY polite and do their best to work with your appointments and schedules. Even if you only wait a short while, both the staff and the doctor apologize that you had to wait at all. Sometimes, people have EMERGENCIES and schedules get messed up! Have a little understanding and compassion before tossing in a bad review. read more

15 years ago I was pregnant with my 3rd son, I decided to bring my then 7 and 5 year old to the ultrasound of my 3rd baby. I was almost 6 months pregnant. Dr. Soffici was surprised at my age, and after seeing that my baby had thickness of the neck and a couple of holes in his heart he suggested an amnio as he was certain my baby would have down syndrome, In front of my 7 and 5 year old sons, he told us that the baby would be ill its entire life, maybe not even live after birth, would be institutionalized, if the baby lived he would be in and out of the hospital...he went on and on about his discriminating opinionated negativities of down syndrome. He suggested that we get an amnio so we "could decide" as we had very little time left to "decide". He didn't say the word terminate or abort, but my 7 year old knew after all the negative comments Dr,. Soffici made meant...My 7 year old took me aside after the apointment and said, I don't know what down syndrome is Mommy, but what thing i do know, "this baby isn't going back". My baby was born with down syndrome, he is 15 years old, the healthiest in our family, he is smart, funny, talented...and so much more. Dr. Soffici should lose his license for his discriminating comments he made and I am sure sways hundreds if not thousands of women pregnant with down syndrome babies to abort. Not okay. read more

He's the only one in town, so I'm sure he's busy, but we waited 50 minutes. Not one word from the receptionist or nurse that he was running late. Not one word of apology when he finally came in the door. Didn't ask any questions about my medical history or how the pregnancy was going. He just said what he wanted to say (which was informative), performed the ultrasound and left. That's pretty poor form in all respects. I wish there was an alternative in town. I'm sure he'd behave better otherwise. read more

There's only one doctor that performs the 20 week ultrasound in SB and unfortunately that's Dr Soffici. My husband and I waited over 35+minutes to see him. Front staff (lady behind glass) seemed to ignore us when we arrived to check in, too busy on the phone. Another patient arrived, who obviously had an appt later than us, yet she was helped before us! I had done the MaterniT test at 10 weeks which tests for Down syndrome, which came back negative, but since my husband has an uncle with downs, I still wanted reassurance from the ultrasound and doctor. When I asked Dr S if it was indeed negative, he replied "wellllll you did the MaterniT test..your baby does NOT have Down's syndrome", in a tone that made me feel bad for asking. The scan went fine, although I had to have some awkward intern guy watching the whole time, but the visit started to go downhill as Dr S explained that I had an anterior placenta (like it was dooms day) and that due to my previous c-section, I most likely have placenta acretta, which is result of placenta growing into the old c-section scar. I told him that I was hoping for a vbac and wondered if this lowered my chances, but he continued to confirm that my placenta placement was too high of a risk to go through a vbac. I felt very dissapiointed. Remind you I was only 20 weeks at this point. He made a snarky comment such as "no woman wins an award for how she gives birth" and then had the nerve to state that there is zero risk in a repeat c-section. Zero? Please. I returned to my "real" obstetricians (I have one in SB and one in Thousand Oaks where I will go for a vbac), told them my experience, and they both laughed. Both confirmed that my placenta will most likely move as my uterus grows and that diagnosing accreta is nearly impossible through ultrasound, especially at only 20 weeks. I had another US at around 24 weeks (not with Soffici) and sure enough, placenta had moved quite a bit! Had another US at 30 weeks and placenta even further away from cervix and scar. Drives me crazy that doctors try to scare patients with misinformation because of their personal views on vbac. Never once did Dr S say that it was too early to know for sure if it was indeed acretta. He only pointed out the myths about vbac and said I shouldn't do it. I would never recommend this doctor to friends or family..sad that he's the only option in my hometown. read more

I personally like Dr. Soffici and his team. There is a bit of a monopoloy in the Santa Barbara area as he is the person to go to for your ultrasounds. He must have so many patients that are refered to him (myself included) but my husband and I have never had to wait long for an appointment and when we are seen, it's quick. I would say the max I have ever been there has been 20 minutes. Dr. Soffici is jovial, he explains what you are seeing in the ultrasound. Granted, yes he's quick, but what do you expect - it's just an ultrasound! I consider myself lucky each time I see him as he always prints out a slew of photographs - including the 3d ones and if you want to record it, you can bring your own cd and he'll record the session for you. I have had many friends in other cities have much less of an ultrasound than I have experienced with Soffici. My only suggestion would be for the staff to get your Insurance Information prior to your arrival and to get you a quote regarding testing. We thought about doing Harmony testing this time around and were unclear as to what we would be paying out of pocket. (and Soffici wasn't sure either.) So we went with Sequential testing since we knew our insurance for sure would cover it. read more

I think Dr. Soffici it totally fine. He is THE person to go to in Santa Barbara for ultrasounds and specializes in high risk pregnancies. We are always sent to him for our standard ultrasound screenings at 12 and 18 weeks. Now, I do agree that he is not over-the-top friendly (my main OBGYN is Dr. Susanne Ramos, who is FABULOUS and very enganged and bubbly), but he was never rude or unfriendly. He seemed like a Dr, doing his job. He's quick and effecient, gets the job done. We went to him (for this current pregnancy as well as my previous one) for the Standard first and second trimester screening tests at 12 and 18 weeks. These ultrasounds are anatomy ultrasounds designed to check that everthing is developing properly...not to get you a "cute" picture of your baby! Ha ha...that other reviewer who was mad that she couldn't get a cute pic for her birth announcement or whatever made me laugh. He's an expert in his field, and why should he spend hours with you trying to get a great snapshot of your healthy baby who's there for a routine ultrasound when there are other patients he's seeing with high risk, special needs pregnancies and multiples? He's compitent, professional, and has state of the art equipment. He takes 4D ultrasunds and gives you not only lots of print outs but will also record. If you want someone to hold your hand and give you a baby photoshoot for your scrapbook, go to "Peekaboo" in Ventura. read more

Im 21 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I was lucky enough to be able to get in & be seen by Dr. Soffici, just a few days ago. Everyone i know that's seen him raves about him, now im right there agreeing with them! Got to my apointment filled out the paper work & was seen shortly after. Dr. Soffici was extremely informative through out the entire ultrasound & even had some humor :) extremely nice man. He made our day! We left the office super happy & very excited, we're having a baby boy!! Yea the 3D pictures we got were'nt clear at all, but big deal i didnt expect them to be. Plus, my baby is a ninja & was moving a bunch. I don't understand women that are on here giving him a bad review & complaining about the unclear pictures they got...like they are expecting to see their baby super clear & get professional looking pictures! Wake up call, ALL ultrasound pictures look weird ESPECIALLY the 3D ones, they are just creepy looking. The DVD is pretty cool to have & show the fam. All I care about is my baby growing & being born healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Soffici, he truly is the best!! read more

Dr. Soffici is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Yes, at times there was a bit of a wait but it really didn't affect me much...it gave me time to relax and collect my thoughts. I didn't mind waiting to see the greatest high risk specialist around. I think people should try to understand that he is super busy seeing high risk mommies all day and sometimes things come up and can't be rushed. He happened to be on call when I delivered my son prematurely and it was as if God sent an angel there to help. We are so fortunate to have had him as our doctor! I had a terrible experience with Soffici. Actually, many bad experiences as I was forced to go to him a total of 5 times (3 of them being completely unnecessary, but I found out later he was affiliated with the provider that referred me to him - totally unethical). But, besides being unethical, my biggest complaint is the way he approached my pregnancy specifically. I felt bullied, threatened, and scared after my final appointment with him. He tried to scare me into having an unnecessary c-section. I had a completely healthy pregnancy. I'm young and really healthy/athletic. The only "issue" was that my baby "might" be big. He told me that if I didn't have a c-section, I had a 1 in 100 chance of something going seriously wrong with the delivery of my baby, including that the baby could be disabled for life. He said that if I tried having my baby naturally, and something went wrong, I would have to live with myself for the rest of my life. When I said I trusted in nature, he told me that "mother nature is trying to kill us". Long story short, I didn't take his advice and I had my (very BIG!) baby naturally. Everything went perfectly fine and I have a beautiful healthy baby. Soffici prays on vulnerable pregnant women that are scared. He knows they trust him because he's a doctor, and he takes advantage of that. He wants to give c-sections because they are easier for him (he doesn't have to get up in the middle of the night) and he gets paid an exorbitant amount of money for performing them. As the other reviews say, he's always very late and only spends 5 minutes in the room with you. But, these were minor complaints compared to how he treated me . I feel bad for the women that are uninformed and trust anything he says, because he does NOT have your best interest at heart. He has his own interests at heart (#1 being $$$). I know he is the only option in town, but please go to someone out of town. It's worth it to drive a little bit and have an honest doc with integrity. I wish someone had told me this before my pregnancy. read more

My enormous complaint is that the front desk staff changed my appointment day & time without asking or notifying me. I called the office the day of my appointment, while I was already in the car, to tell them that my husband was meeting me there, and was told that I had no appointment for that day. I had already coordinated with my husband to drive 35 mins to meet me there. This was for an ultrasound to find out the sex of our baby. I couldn't believe it when the receptionist told me the day & time they had me scheduled for. There was no way in heck that I would have booked an appointment at that time because my boss would not have let me leave work at that time! I worked in a medical office as well. I showed up at Dr. Soffici's hoping there was some sort of mistake or that they could work me in. The girl had no apologies and basically said I could wait if I wanted but that the Dr. was already running late & wasn't even in the office. I was so irritated that there was a woman sitting in the lobby with my appointment time which I made first and they acknowledged that (because their computer systems keeps track of when the appts are made) but for whatever reason they changed my appt. and I was the one getting screwed. They did not honor my appt. and turned me away. After crying to the office manager how their staff was 1)wrong, 2) unapologetic and 3) not offering to do anything satisfactory to fix the problem, she offered for me to come back at the end of the day to have the U/S done. So I went back after work, my husband drove another 35 mins (one way) to meet me, and I got a comment from the Dr. about being rude to their receptionist. But I was armed with even more information about their poor staff and customer service - the same exact thing had happened to a co-worker of mine at Dr. Soffici's office! My co-worker was a doctor herself and would have never booked an appt. at the time Dr. Soffici's office said she did. She demanded to be seen and her U/S done at the time she arrived in their office, which fortunately they did. I don't know what the receptionists there are doing but I know I won't be going there again to get treated that way! read more
