I ordered their barbacoa plate with homemade corn tortillas. I am picky about my barbacoa and I've had bad barbacoa and this barbacoa was close to perfection as it was spiced to perfection and not even close to being stringy or dry. My over-easy eggs were also cooked to perfection. Plus one ordered her usual migas plate and exclaimed that this plate was also fantastic. There was enough food on her plate to easily split and it was a shame that even with my assistance we could only finish about two-thirds of the serving. Service was on point as we never lacked water or coffee refills. I also liked that a variety of sauces were provided with our meal. If you find yourself in Kenedy go where the locals go-to Taqueria Los Potros de Jalisco for a marvelous breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We were pleasantly surprised to learn that they serve breakfast all day. I had a chorizo & egg taco and a migas taco on what might be the best flour tortillas I've ever had--they were clearly handmade, fresh, thick, charred slightly on the surface but still soft--so good. The fresh pico de gallo we were brought was spicy and flavorful from the fresh jalapeños and cilantro and I could tell everything was just made with care.
