The photos came out just as I expected! The quality is professional and every picture she captured is amazing. I love her use of natural lighting. It's just so beautiful and the picture really takes you back to the moment. This feeling is perfect because I want to be able to look back when my baby is a teenager and remember this special time. To top things off, she delivered the photos to me the very next day! Although, normal turn around time is between 1-3 weeks she was able to make it happen for us. The mini sessions are short but it's enough for her to work her magic. She is a bit further than where I live (I live in Ventura) but the drive was worth it. She is so kind, easy to talk to, caring, and most importantly, honest. We were one of the many couples faced with the interruption of covid-19, and had to postpone our wedding a full year. Teresa was more than understanding and reassuring, which eased so much of the stress we faced at that time. A comment I received from multiple people on my wedding day was how calm I seemed. And I have to say, I credit 100% of that to Teresa. Leading up to the wedding, she made me feel so prepared and at ease. When wedding day arrived, she carried that sense of calm with her from start to finish. Shooting with Teresa feels like shooting with a good friend you've known forever. She is so sweet, funny, organized, and professional. Wedding day can be SO stressful, but Teresa never let me or anyone give into that at any time. She keeps you laughing, and brings an energy that every bride needs on her big day. The timeline she created for our day was completely seamless, and the day just felt so easy with her direction and care. The amount of people that also recognized this about her and made a point to tell me throughout my wedding day only further confirmed that she is truly amazing at what she does. She is the real deal. My wedding (and engagement) photos are something out of a dream. In fact, they are even better than what I dreamed of for so long. She captured the most special moments of our life so beautifully and organically, and we will cherish them forever. They are classic and timeless, and I never fail to get emotional any time I look at them. From the beginning, Teresa never felt like a vendor we hired, she felt like family. Worst experience with this photographer. She was slow to communicate and had lots of excuses why it…read moretook several weeks to respond. When I asked what her prices was, she told me $250. Nothing about the actual pictures costing extra until AFTER the photo shoot was already done... "Oh, I'll send you a pricing sheet later." Never received it. Got proofs back after two weeks, chose the ones we want, THEN she tells us they're essentially $100 each photo, minimum of 3 photos in the cheapest package. WHAT?? So between the lack of communication, the money we lost to the sitting fee, the amount of time I spent driving to her location (2hrs each way), time and money spent on outfits and the cake, we could not justify spending another $300 for only 3 pictures. We decided it would be time and money better spent to just redo the shoot with another photographer and call it a loss. I'm beyond angry. I booked with her despite hearing stories from mutual friends about their bad experiences and her lack of professionalism. Don't trust other reviews here, most are her friends and family.

I was pregnant... and REALLY excited about getting some maternity photos done like I did with my son when I was pregnant with him. Her commitment to her clients and creating the best experience was sooo obvious. The only reason I didn't say yes then was a financial one... we ended up getting married and all our extra funds went to our small wedding. It was the ONLY regret I had from my pregnancy. I really just wanted to work with her. Fast forward 4 years...Turns out Alyson also does branding photography!! Holy smokes! I had an hour long session with her, just a mini for this go around while her and I co-create my larger full branding shoot. There are several things I really loved about Alyson's work. 1.
