I contacted MacKenzie just weeks before my due date after our original newborn photographer flaked on us and she was super understanding of our situation. She found time in her schedule to squeeze us in and we are so glad she did. Even though the main purpose of the session was my son's newborn photos, she made sure to take some of my 2.5 year old daughter as well as some family photos. The photos came out beautifully. We have many of them hanging in a collage frame on our wall and always get compliments. I recommend her to everyone in need of a photographer. She is very professional and great with children. Even though I wasn't feeling or looking my best just days after having a baby, she encouraged me to get in some of the pics. She told me I would regret it if I didn't and she was right. The ones of me holding my new son are the photos I cherish most. When we had a problem with some of our prints arriving damaged, she was very prompt about ordering new ones and making things right. Mackenzie is such a wonderful photographer. We have two young kids that Mackenzie has been photographing over the last 3 years. She is wonderfullll with them and somehow manages to catch the best pictures when they are not on "their best" behaviors... When we receive our password to access our gallery, we are left in awe.. "How does she do that?" "How does she manage to capture the perfect shots?".. and the list goes on and on. When the time comes to choosing our photos, often times it is so difficult, we have to have them all. We have taken pictures at the local parks, the beach and she even has a home studio that is available. Mac Is the best. She is great at what she does and you can tell she loves it. My husband and I got our Engagement pics done with her and even though the weather wasn't the best the pictures came out amazing. She even got my husband to smile which isn't easy. I also did a personal shoot with her and yet again was so happy with her work. Then of coarse she was there to shoot the best day of our lives our Wedding Day! and I just cannot wait to see what she has for us. She is always on time and very professional. MacKenzie photographed my husband, son and I two weeks after we had our first baby. I think we were one of her first newborn baby sessions. I was SO nervous. I was nervous to take baby out of the house. I prayed he wouldn't cry or be hungry or tired or everything else a new parent frets over. MacKenzie made me feel so comfortable though! MacKenzie is wonderful! Very sweet and professional, makes you feel so comfortable and not stuffy and uncomfortable as a lot of photographers/ photo shoots can make you feel! She is great with kids! I have two little ones and of course anytime the camera is on them they are not cooperative but is so wonderful with them! We just did a mini session with Mackenzie on Sunday, and were very pleased. My 2 year old daughter was being difficult, so she took her for a walk and talked to her about what she wanted to do. This made my daughter feel so much more comfortable, and she was able to get some great shots. Mackenzie was not only professional, gentle, and sweet, but had such an adorable outdoor set up with so many great props! We've asked MacKenzie to photograph our family twice. The first time was for a maternity session and the second was for our newborn photos. Both times we have absolutely loved our photos! We had our first mini session this past Saturday with Mac Dore Photography and I couldnt be happier with the outcome! When we arrived the backdrop and props were all setup adorably. We got a gift certificate for our gender reveal party and I am so thankful we did! MacKenzie did our newborn photos and made us first-time parents very comfortable, even when we forgot our diaper bag - diapers, wipes, headbands, outfits, everything! We hired MacKenzie for our infant's photos and she did a fantastic job! She is very sweet and professional. Even though our infant (3 months old) is more on the difficult side, MacKenzie was very patient and good with her; she was able to get her to smile and got some great shots! Amazing photographer! I have had 2 sessions with her. The first one was out doors and it was windy. I left thinking that with the weather the way it was there's no way she could have gotten any good pictures. They turned out absolutely beautiful! The location she chose looked amazing too! The second was for newborn pictures. My baby did not want any part of it! And again, the pictures turned out incredible! MacKenzie was quick to respond with any questions. Our lil guy was only 10 days old and we wanted to get some photos taken of him. We haven't taken him to many places so I was a bit nervous about it. My first experience with Mackenzie was for her Spring mini sessions. First of all, I LOVE that she offers these! What a great idea! Secondly, Mackenzie is so wonderful with children. MacKenzie did our wedding almost a years ago and our pictures could not have turned out any more perfect!! She was really great about taking requests on some shots i specifically wanted and they came out beyond beautiful!
