I came to stay here so that I could visit the IKEA Museum The rooms are furnished with IKEA furniture. They look out on a Courtyard and garden also furniture with items from IKEA. The garden furniture and plant accessory product line is much more extensive than what's available in the US. I presume that's because IKEA would be competing with Home Depot and the other big box store. The Ikea Hotel will eventually have conference rooms, a nice business center and many other amenities. It will house IKEA co-workers who come for training from all over the world.

Great value for the price in otherwise expensive Sweden. . Good restaurant as well (not the same…read moremenu as an IKEA store, more upscale). Free laundry machines and bicycles. Extremely clean facility. Staff was very friendly and helpful to this American tourist.

This time I ordered the quorn filet with a mushroom risotto. Creamy risotto which was good, dry and not that interesting quorn filets which wasnt that surprising (they usually are if not cooked right), but expected a little more. If any of the alternatives on the menu shouldnt suit you the salad buffé is nice with a varied selection of greens and beans. Not the biggest salad buffè I've seen but still one of the best in this city. Prices are a little bit higher than the norm in Halmstad, but the quality of the food and the interior is of higher standard as well. :)

Here, they've kept the promise and are definitely keeping up with their ambition. High end quality products at your disposal every way you turn- Clarins shampoo and Conditioner at the Ocean bath, organic Ilse Jacobsen in the rooms and spa- fresh flowers every day, attentive staff. Everything is well thought thru, clean and well kept. Lit lights and flower arrangements at EVERY entrance (and there are many!) Food is yummy and made with highest quality ingredients. Good selection of wines and drinks. Oh- and the View is spectacular too, btw.

The local employees found this bed and breakfast which was 4 miles from the office. And in typically miserably bad Swedish weather in November I was happy to only go 4 miles The room I had shared the toilet/shower room. I had two other guys on my floor the week I was there. Fortunately they got up early to go to work so were out the door as I was waking up and had the shower all to myself. Very clean throughout. The owners had a great spread of food for breakfast and even someone like me who does not eat wheat had a good breakfast every morning. WiFi access worked and even good enough for me to VPN into work when I was back at the B&B. They had plenty of parking. The area around them is very picturesque and country like without being too far out in the country. It is my understanding a lot of people go there for walks/tours of the countryside. If you need to do laundry plan it out ahead of time. There was no dryer, just a washer so clothes had to hang dry. Modest fee to wash clothes. There were plenty of shops in the town of Almhult. And a refrigerator upstairs to keep food cold. Helped to have when I didn't feel like going out for dinner.
