This time I ordered the quorn filet with a mushroom risotto. Creamy risotto which was good, dry and not that interesting quorn filets which wasnt that surprising (they usually are if not cooked right), but expected a little more. If any of the alternatives on the menu shouldnt suit you the salad buffé is nice with a varied selection of greens and beans. Not the biggest salad buffè I've seen but still one of the best in this city. Prices are a little bit higher than the norm in Halmstad, but the quality of the food and the interior is of higher standard as well. :)

Standard Scandic-hotel. Pretty typical…read more Standard rooms a bit on the tiny side. Supertiny bathroom. As usual no towel for floor and feet. Wooden floor makes it sensitive to noise. No garage, and super hard to find a parking spot on the street on a Friday evening. Parking is SEK12 per hour weekdays 09 - 18 and Saturdays 09 - 12. Free otherwise. Maybe because we booked the room one day ahead, but it was super pricey! SEK1600. That's more than we paid in Copenhagen, Oslo and Malmö city. Accepts AMEX.
