Maybe it's my bad luck, but I've never waited less than four minutes in line at DSW when checking out. Except at this store. I was in and out in five minutes. Great service.

THEN the finally straw was when they pulled away the clothes rack so it wasn't near me. I sent my coworker there a few mins later to test them out, and they did the same to her. If they're not comfortable leaving clothes outside for people to look through... DONT LEAVE THE CLOTHES OUTSIDE.

I walk up to a couple employees and as if anyones familiar with running shoes, the man asks me what he can help me with.. so I tell him I'm interested in Brooks. His name is Alex. He was a great sales associate. He gave me all the facts about Brooks, that I didn't know. He was quick to get sizes that I needed. He was super helpful. His recommendations were on point. He recommended the Glycerin which is the last shoe that I tried on and that's what I ended up getting. They didn't have colors that I particularly wanted, so he ended up ordering it online for me. What I did notice was that he asked if I wanted to type in my own credit card information and stepped away, so professional and never had that done to me before. I hope he gets commission off of my sale online, if not - I hope his manager sees this and congratulates him on his customer service.

There are many other stores located in the shopping center makes it easy to go pick up groceries, Walmart, liquor, Thai food or just about anything else you might want to find. After shoe shopping. Also very convenient for the guys while your wife or GF is up and down the aisles looking for yet more shoes, you can walk around to some of these other stores in this shopping mall, and entertain yourself. The staff was very friendly here , asked my wife and myself several times if we needed any help and stayed close by to answer questions. Reminded me of a Payless setup with shoes that you would find more so in say a Marshalls, or TJMaxx shoe area with some kniwn name brands. Sadly I needed to get a replacement pair of flats for the train hopping. They did have quite the selection, but note the smaller sizes go fast. So only able to pick up just 1 black pair, vs brown & black. Pricing is fair/equvilant to where you'd see elsewhere for an affordable flat. The store shoe clerk was very helpful from beginning to end. Asked nicely what I was looking for, showed me the way. Staged to help find my selected style and size, even checked me out.
