This is one of my favourite health food stores due to the good price in the store and helpful…read morestaff. The staff are friendly and allow you to browse the store without watching everything you do (which can be annoying in some shops!!). They sell good quality essential oils, herbal teas, many ranges of supplements and all the general products you find in a health food store. They also sell what i think is the full range of ecover products (although i am not sure if they do refills), many free from products (the wheat free pasta here is nice) and affordable flours such as wholemeal, soya and potato flour which can be hard to get hold of or very expensive elsewhere. They have a chain of stores one in Westbourne (smaller store) and one in poole (Havent visited this store). Rated 4/5 as there is a health food store in christchurch i prefer.

This store is situated in the heart of busy Winton high street and is a popular and busy store. You…read morecan always get what you need from here as it stocks a good range of products. The staff are very friendly and are there to offer advice if needed, they dont force themselves upon you. I have bought products here in bulk which is good value and they are happy to order in anything which they dont have. They stock a good range of food items as well as oils, supplements, skin products etc. It is handy that it is on the high street as you can pop in when you are doing your other shopping. Highly recommend.

Oh Lordy I am grateful for this store. They sell all the goodies and treats I miss from home;…read morealong with some other regular groceries. I usually have to "place an order" with my mother and hope she remembers to send it in the next care package she posts. Not anymore! Just a quick trip in to this tiny gem of a store and it's like all my homesickness disappears. They carry everything from PopTarts to Lucky Charms to Arizona Ice Tea and Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing. A major plus side to this business is the prices of their stock. While it's obviously more expensive than it would be back home, it is definitely the most reasonable pricing I've seen in the country. Except maybe some of the sweets/candy are a bit overpriced but I'm guessing that's just because they're quite popular and why not capitalize on that?! I do draw the line at £1.25 Twinkies. That's basically $2 for a single, individual Twinkie. I'm pretty sure you can get a 10 pack for close to that back home, and really, I can live without Twinkies. (Note: I'm not sure why they're storing/displaying Twinkies in a drinks fridge. It's not like they're gonna expire. Don't those things survive nuclear war or something?!) The one critique I have is the staff. On the day I went it was two younger girls who looked like this was the last place they wanted to be; a stark contrast to me practically jumping up and down going, "Oh my god they have ___!!!!". Oh well. Just because they sell American food, I don't expect they adopt American customer service as well.
