I just had my first (and last) experience at this place. Big-time oof. It is basically the Spirit airlines of grocery stores. The prices were low, but I have no clue about any of the brands which left me skeptical about everything. Literally every other piece of fruit I grabbed was rotten or moldy. There were a couple workers there. I showed then the moldy blueberries but got a shrug as a response. I guess it's par for the course. They do have cheap eggs. I got a dozen to try out. I love Aldi! Every store is a bit different and some are better than others but I think this one is pretty nice! They didn't have the 100% grass fed ground beef or bison which was a disappointment but they had a bunch of breads, snacks, cheeses, pantry items and non food items. The best is the prices! It is about a third of Publix prices so I definitely will be shopping here as my main grocery store! Don't forget your quarter for the cart and bring your own bags! read more

The best grocery prices in town. I do my major grocery shopping at Aldi and go to Publix for essentials and BOGOs. Be aware of Aldi etiquette- quarters needed for the shopping cart, bring your own bags (I use IKEA bags. Keeping it European!) and be fast at check out! Aldi is similar to a grocery store like Publix. They don't carry average labels but instead seem to have their own brand - although I could be wrong on this. They carry a lot of different salad dressings and condiments, canned food, pasta, frozen food and more. I like to always check out the Aldi Finds are to see what is new or featured when I am in the store. They have a large selection of fruits and veggies. I have only purchased bad produce once and they were very good about letting me exchange it for something else. The staff is always super friendly and quick to help if you ask. Any time that I have been to this location, they typically have one person ringing at the cash register, but again, they are usually pretty quick. You can also order ahead at this location. It is advertised to work through instacart. There are designated parking spaces specifically for this feature. If you plan to use a cart, bring a quarter, you will see why when you get there. They do not provide bags at checkout. You can purchase them for $0.10, bring your own bag or grab a box. There is plenty of parking and a restroom inside. read more

Great prices.However, recently I have found a lot of their food items contain bioengineered food ingredients.

I love having an Aldi so close to my house, but this one is a hit or miss and they usually have extremely long lines with only two cashiers ever at the most. I usually come here for fresh produce, but they don't always have it well stocked. The past few times I've come here for cucumbers, they've only had a few withered ones left. Also, they no longer carry the cilantro lime hummus or organic sesame chips here that other Aldi stores still carry. I mainly come for prosciutto, tiki masala and butter chicken sauces, blue cheese, salmon, tuna, scallops and the 7up cake! read more

Last month on September 12, 2023 I placed an order that was delivered to me but was missing $26.50 worth of groceries. I was provided absolutely NO RECEIPT and has NO SUCCESS in reaching out to ALDIs or Instacart to address this concern. I also tried to get in touch with Instacart without success. Neither Instacart nor ALDIs could provide me with any kind of proof that I placed my order. The amount charged to my credit card was $68.66 however, I only received $42.16 worth of groceries. Hence the difference of $26.50. That was the first time and will be my last time that I will ever order from or through ALDIs and Instacart unless they make this right for me!!! If I could have rated it with ZERO STARS I would have but Yelps program would not allow me to!!! read more

I like aldi, but produce goes bad super fast. Within a couple days of buying AND almost everything I get from there has an illegible expiration date so I don't know when it's going to go bad! read more

ALDI 34th St N, St. Petersburg, FL is using "Instacart" to do their curbside pickup and it's TERRIBLE! We waited beyond the 5 minutes the app requested, then the app told us to go inside, the Aldi rep then said go back outside told, we went back and waited in the car, the heavily tatt'ed Instacart guy walks out, carrying no groceries, and asks us our name, and gets immediately confrontational when we attempted to ask a question about the process... he then goes back inside, again we wait... he comes back out and, again, asks our name! Maybe to his surprise, we are still the SAME PEOPLE! Anyway, dude then proceeds to tell us "It doesn't look like you have enough room in your trunk for the groceries" at which point my wife bolts from the passenger side, moves the empty 6"x8" box which was "filling" the trunk, and proceeds to load all the groceries herself, in the span of 15 seconds. Nice job Aldi! And by "nice" I mean altogether a flipping train wreck! Dude must've had a lot of "time" to do, to get all that scary "artwork" done... he certainly wasn't using his time to practice Grocery loading. read more

Today makes my 7th day that I am sick from eating their food. Last Friday I at Aldi Baby Bella Mushrooms, with their organic shredded mozzerella on top. Nothing else. 3 hrs later I started throwing up. This whole week I have been in bed because of this. My doctor determined I have E-coli and says it's probably the mushrooms. I reached out to Aldi...and they offered me a $5 gift certificate. It's like a slap in the face after all this. I will never shop there again. read more

I have grown to have a great disdain for Publix's scheme of the buy one get one. Having lived in 3 other states, Publix has been the least expensive. Prices have been double for nearly every product, except when they are on sale for the bogo, which brings the price slightly about other chains. I feel that WinnDixie has been dragged into this scheme also. With that said, Aldi carries fruit, cheeses, milk, meats, canned items, desserts just like Publix, but minus the pharmacy and more than half the price at the same quality. read more

I wasn't an Aldi fan at first--but it's no fault of their own. I was a loyal Publix shopper that just didn't quite "get" the aesthetic of Aldi. However, their consistently delicious products have made a believer out of me--and this new Aldi is my go-to neighborhood store.
