the front of a grocery store
    Jeremy H.

The store is pretty nice. Groceries are cheap. Not a lot of name brands. But that's what keeps the price down. But what do you expect for having to bring a quarter to get a cart yourself and have to put the cart back to get your quarter back when ur done. Cutting costs also takes jobs away from people. But anyway. A good store for cheap food.

    Yummy! At Aldi!!

Plants, produce, etc. are not my thing. Not at all. I have no idea what I am looking at, what it…read moredoes, how it does it, when it does it. I went to another place nearby and was resolved to buy plastic plants. I wish I remembered the name of the two people who helped me. In fact, I will go back soon to make a point of getting their names so I can post them. Two people with more patience than I have ever seen in my life. When I walked in the place was jammed so my first thought was come back later. As I turned to leave a guy says hey, what are you looking for. I explained I wanted to do some indoor hot peppers, some tomato plants, etc. and I don't have a back yard just a deck. In five minutes I was set and ready. Second visit last week was to get some potting soil, and to scope out whether I can grow tomatillos and maybe some tomatoes indoor. Again, packed, and again, helped within a minute or two. As I was leaving I saw the produce and it looked really fresh. I took home a half dozen ears of corn, two dozen tomatoes, hot banana peppers, and a couple of jalapenos. As I was picking stuff out there was an employee stocking. She asked what the tomatoes were for. I explained I was making a marinara. She said the tomatoes I had were ok, but then showed me to the plum tomatoes, showed me how to pick the best sauce tomatoes, and then taught me a trick to peel the skin. I thanked her, and as I was checking out she brought up a beautiful sweet onion and a bulb of garlic and asked if I forgot these. I did. The cashier explained a genius way to make the garlic less pungent and then I was on my way. Oh, and the price was surreal low. When I got home I tried the corn. Amazing. If nothing else stock up on corn here. The onion was amazing. Almost better than vidalia grown onions in terms of sweetness and taste. I couldnt believe how little my produce cost so on the way home I stopped at a supermarket. I bought corn, tomatoes, onions, green sweet peppers, hot banana peppers, and garlic, all picked that day, for one third the price at a supermarket. Other businesses could learn from this store. These are good people. People who take the time to teach their customers, help their customers, and make sure their customers come back. all the while selling good produce and plants at low prices.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Service, Product Quality, and Manager Conduct…read more I am submitting this complaint to document a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience at your store that warrants immediate review by leadership. I have been a loyal Whole Foods customer for years, regularly purchasing flowers and groceries, which makes this situation especially upsetting. I recently purchased flowers for my mother, only to have them wither the very next day. My mother was upset, and I contacted the store to resolve the issue. When I spoke with a manager named Mia (possibly spelled Mya), I was told to "bring pictures of the flowers." I found this request insulting and unnecessary -- particularly because she was the one who rang up my purchase and because I have built a consistent, professional rapport with her as a regular customer. Being asked to "prove" the issue felt dismissive and accusatory, as if my integrity were in question. When I returned to the store for a replacement, I was told that I had not been charged for the flowers in the first place -- an error made by the store. Manager Josh then stated that "associates make mistakes all the time." While I understand that mistakes happen, what concerned me was the lack of accountability and the complete absence of any meaningful customer consideration. Despite the inconvenience, the poor product quality, and the disrespectful interaction I experienced, I was not offered a discount, an even exchange, or any gesture of goodwill. To make matters worse, during this visit I purchased additional flowers and an orchid at full price. Even then, no one made any effort to acknowledge the situation beyond repeated apologies. Apologies without action do not resolve the issue, nor do they demonstrate that my loyalty or business is valued. A customer who has been inconvenienced, insulted, and sold a defective product deserves more than empty apologies. Respect is shown through action -- whether that is a discount, a replacement without interrogation, or a simple gesture that acknowledges the customer's experience. As the saying goes, "People don't care unless they know you care." At this point, I did not feel cared for, valued, or respected. In the movie Jerry Maguire, the famous line "Show me the money" became iconic because it represented proof, not promises. I am asking Whole Foods to show me -- through action, not words -- that my business matters. If this is not something your store can demonstrate, then I will take my loyalty elsewhere and make my concerns known. I am requesting a formal review of this incident, including the conduct of the managers involved, and an appropriate resolution that reflects the seriousness of this experience.
