Average prices are around €2-4 with some items, slightly more expensive. The store was packed when we went in and I could have bought quite a few things here. It's well organized and colorful. I love the choice of colors here and many of the things look like they are well made. Definitely coming back here again :-) a nice addition to Schwabing.

If you're near Marienplatz @ that whole are, You have to take the underground metro/ subway. It's not hard. One way ticket costs euros 2.90 and it's off the U5 line. The store is in a mall that has all sorts of other shopping options. If you want to do some serious shopping, it's worth it to take a few hours out & trek here. This store is 3 levels. Home goods, men's, women's & children's clothes & all sorts of makeup, skincare & other accessories. Quality is great if u compare it to Walmart or other discount stores in the US. Prices are very low esp considering the taste, quality & fit of the clothes. I docked a point off cause I waited in checkout line for ever. Like 30 mins. Also place is a bit of a mess later in the day & didn't see employees putting items back together. No bathroom too folks. You have to pay euros .50 to use the main restroom in the mall. That's just not cool. I get that it's a European thing, but still totally uncool.

My priorities are buying organic or minimally processed foods, saving money, and accessibility from my apartment (which is why I have yet to shop at a Basic). Aldi provides a broader selection of goods than at any other discount grocery store I've ever shopped at. + Fresh produce is as good as at any Tengelmann, but cheaper, and includes organic Despite being a grocery discounter, the groceries I buy at Aldi are the same quality as one finds at any Tengelmann. In fact, I have found that I eat better by shopping at Aldi, because I'm more likely to buy even nicer groceries because the savings are compelling, for example, organic bell peppers at €1.99/kg instead of €2.99/kg. + Sometimes, they get crazy specials, like great wines from Italy, or wild salmon imported directly from Alaska Lately I've been loading up on an organic white wine from Sicily because it's DELIZIOSO and also only €1.99 per bottle. I dunno what your experience is, but in my world, up until recently, €1.99 per bottle was the express lane to regret. Also, I've been enjoying the wild salmon from Alaska. I used to work on fishing boats, and I can tell you, there is no fresher fish than a frozen wild salmon from Alaska other than the one you catch yourself. And heck, eating wild is the same thing as eating organic...maybe better. So there you have it. Now y'all understand why I love this Aldi. Why not five stars? Because of the checkout lane. I researched on price while in US and also stopped by a store in Prague to check out their price. I can tell you their Rimowa price is the lowest and they will process for VAT refund paperwork. I ended up not buying Rimowa but purchased another suitcase and a backpack. Additional 10% off if you pay in cash or 5% off by card. Bring your passport if you plan on processing for a VAT refund. They scanned my passport and prepared required paperwork and envelope. Upon arriving at the airport, customs stamped on my receipt and I mailed an envelope at the airport. Their measurements on their size chart says waist is 34.65 inches and the hips are 44.09 inches. I measured the jeans and they're in fact over a size smaller. The waist is 33 inches and the hips are 43 inches. I asked if I could exchange the pants because they made an error in their size chart. I initially trusted they had provided the correct information didn't catch the jeans were a completely different size right away. Customer service said too bad they're final sale and it's too late. Sorry but if you make an error in your measurements that is in fact your error. I didn't even want to return them I just wanted to exchange them. For almost $600 I'm not buying the larger pair. I've spent thousands of dollars with this company and it's extremely disappointing. They don't lose any income doing a simple exchange. This is the second quality control issue Ive encountered with this company. If a company makes a $600 mistake they should make it right. I thought it was a scam at first but I called them and they said it was because I have multiple returns. I made 3 or 4 returns in the pass 2 years but have spent $1000's of dollars. It's so sad that I can't buy from them, going through the process of a wire transfer is insane. They have no warning about this on their website, if they had I would have monitored more closely my returns and how many I did. But it was never an issue! Very disappointing.

Yes folks Bavaria is wonderful but you have to do your shopping before 8pm monday to a saturday - so finding this heaven at the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) has saved many a life, relationship, date and party. It might in some areas be a little pricier, less choice but meets most basic and emergency needs - hence the 5* rating. Got an excellent cold room full of beer. Spirits are behind the cash desks. Queues can be long especially weekends - Sunday evening when everyone is arriving or coming back home is a chore. But thank you for small inconveniences.
