They usually have better produce than the ones in Brandon. The produce isn't as picked over as most Aldi stores in the area. It's less crowded than the newest store in Riverview. The line wasn't as long at this location despite only having one check out lane open. Maybe I just hit it at the right time. They have a good variety of cheese and salads. I even found pineberries here at a good price during strawberry season. I was also happy to see cases of La Croix on sale. It's the little things in life that make me happy. I'll definitely return to this Aldi in Seffner.

In some areas, the stores are literally just a few miles apart, even just 1 mile apart, or less. The reason I'm mentioning this is simple. With all of this construction, someone has to pay those bills. And THAT someone would be the customers. You, and me. In general, the prices at Publix are reasonable, even competitive. Especially if you catch a nice sale or BOGO. Where the prices are really zooming, however, is in the Meat and Seafood Departments. I've been seeing a steady acceleration in those prices, at a faster pace than with their competitors. A visit to those departments shouldn't create 'sticker shock'! Even chicken, historically affordable, is at a very high price point. In my opinion, I see no reason to have SO many stores, clustered SO close together. I also don't believe it is environmentally responsible, impacting wetlands, wildlife and infrastructure. I say back off on the construction and focus on bringing more savings to the backbone of the Publix Corporation, the consumers.

I had to park in the middle of the street just to get my groceries. This has been an ongoing issue, and despite it being brought up before, management has done nothing about it. At this point, it's beyond frustrating. If Publix is going to offer Instacart pickup as a service, then someone -- ideally a GM -- needs to step in and actually enforce the designated parking policy. Otherwise, what's the point? Other grocery stores don't allow this kind of thing to happen. It feels like customer convenience and safety aren't being prioritized here, and I'm honestly at the point where I'm considering canceling my Instacart membership and taking my business elsewhere. We stopped here twice this week as we were heading to the west coast and on the way back east. And pretty much what you'd need if you were cooking -- or bringing a gift. I especially liked the blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. All the berries were gorgeously colored and looked like a photograph. The local strawberries were available by the half flat as well as the pint. We, however, fell in love with the beautiful beefsteak Ruskin tomatoes. On the way home, we got some red ripe ones (for salads and sandwiches) and some green ones (with which to make fried green tomatoes). We haven't had the green ones yet, but we sliced one large one as soon as we got home, added crispy bacon and mayo between two slices of white toast. Oh my. So delicious! Just what a tomato should really taste like. Now we regret not buying a few more... But we will know where to stop next time we are driving through town..,
