Not only do they offer the cheapest (even Walmart) organic options but have a wide variety like Publix. There is a reason they don't give bags and not just to save the planet but because the amount of groceries people make here they would run out immediately! read more

This is probably my least favorite Aldi location that I've been to so far. The produce always seems to be in a disarray and sometimes isn't in the best condition. I've seen customers take "samples" from the fruit and then put it back without purchasing the items, which means if someone buys that item, they are short changed. The lack of staff monitoring the sales floor is probably the cause for this. Other than that, the staff that is there is friendly and helpful. read more

This location just opened this week. The GOOD : -good prices and many items - including $1.99 per pound chicken wings , various berries, cheese, etc. -Items were fresh. -Store is stocked well The BAD: - OMG, the parking lot and store are SMALL! I went in around 4pm during the week , adn there was barely any spaces, people were parking on the curbside. -The store is SMALLER than the parking lot. This is smaller than a Walgreens, with alot of items though in boxes . Don't expect the cutesy displays. -People were butt to butt and cart to cart. I had to get out. I had to send my daughter to the check out line and grab and go the few items I could get. There is NO space in here and very crowded ! I will have to go as soon as they open in the morning, but unfortunately - they open late for me (at 9am). -The cart system is annoying. I couldn't figure it out. Felt kind of dumb. I was rushing, bring .25 cents to use the cart. You get it back when you return it. -No bags , so be prepared to hold your items in your hands - bloody chicken and all OR bring your own bags. read more

Great grocery store for the prices. We always shop here first before going anywhere else because of the cheap products. Aldi's does not have a wide variety but what they do have is at a low cost. Aldi's does a good job of having the healthy options to many items. A lot of their products comes with the organic, non-GMO, Gluten Free, etc labels. Do take note that you have to bring your own reusable bags. read more

235/100 in 2016 challenge This is a great place to shop. Great Location. Store was built in a parking lot of what used to be Winn-Dixie. The Winn-Dixie is now a storage unit rental facility. There is also a Chase bank on the other end of the parking lot. Parking tends to get hairy because of this.(I feel so anyway). This location is by far the smallest of the other Aldi's I have been to. Could have something to do with the fact that they built it in a parking lot. They do not carry a lot of name brands but, so what. They do have some name brands but its really about how you cook it. Of course they were cheaper than all the other supermarkets. There is a Publix directly across the street and a Walmart behind the Aldi's. Lots of competition in the area. The produce is great here. And priced well. The variety is pretty good also. Great prices on dairy items. Great when purchasing apps. like cheese and crackers, chips and dips and the best guacamole. Bring your own bags as they keep the costs down by not supplying bags and you have to insert a quarter to use a cart but again its worth it. The store is clean and well kept. As are the restrooms. The employees are very pleasant and polite. Worth trying a least once, you won't be sorry. Why on five stars?. I feel the parking situation needs to be improved. And the fact that it is much smaller then the other locations. If they would have made it the normal size, I think they really could have given the other stores in the area a run for their money. I will still be going here through. They are worth going to several places because of the savings. read more

I love Aldi and this location is pretty nice. The ladies that work there are nice and of course it was very fast checkout. But my biggest complaint was that many of the items I needed were gone. There were so many empty holes throughout the store. Don't know if it's a staffing issue or what, but i would like this store to be where I can get all my groceries. Hopefully this was just a rare occurrence. read more

So I am a whole foods snob... but recently I was coerced into giving Aldi a shot! And I must say that I was pleased. Their organic products are very nicely priced... in comparison to other places such as Public, Target and Wholefoods. I was thrown off a bit my the messy aisles, and the amount of empty boxes here and there, but did enjoy how the aisles flowed. Their cheese and charcuterie selection is decent, I think it's a perfect place to come mass shop for a big party as you won't break the bank. My mother in law swears by their meats, and poultry. What I was most impressed with was their baby food. Two ingredients baby food that were cheaply priced but yummy. I will definitely be back Aldi. Please don't forget to bring your own bags! Unless you want to purchase them! read more

I have had some bad (and some good) experiences at Aldi in the past, especially with Instacart never actually finding any of the items in the store, but today was ridiculous. It's a holiday so they apparently were closing early which almost no one in the store knew. We were barely in the store for two minutes but it was full of people and they started shutting the lights off! Everyone was running around the store completely confused, there was no announcement of any kind to explain what was happening with a store full of people half way in the dark. Eventually people started to realize they wanted to close early so a huge single line began. At one point they opened another lane and started SCREAMING that the store was closed and to get in line. I was walking by and there was another lady who was closer to the register than I; and I was trying to be polite to let her go first but the lady at the register literally screamed at us again. I do not appreciate going into a store with my hard earned money and being treated like a corrections officer in prison is yelling at me to get into my cell for lockdown. I may never go back after today and considering that Walmart is the main alternative- that's really saying something! read more

I'm a HUGE Aldi fan overall, depending on which Aldi it is! So far, they rate like this: (1) Haines City (2) Clermont (3) St. Cloud and (4) Poinciana. Granted, I have not visited the two in Kissimmee (one by Medieval Times, one in BVL, both of which I hear are great). Today, about a week after the grand opening of my #4, I visited the store I've waited years to open here. And I expected it to be my least favorite, as mostly everything is which locates to Poinciana. First, Aldi did not take over the old Winn Dixie, but the coupon for $5 off said it was located at 900 Cypress Pkwy., the location of the aforementioned. O-kay. We entered via the extremely crowded parking lot to find a very crowded store with harried checkout workers and one worn floor associate. My first impression was that the manager was the very young guy among them, who seemed to have little experience in retail grocery. Hey, I could be wrong! Actually, my very first impression was that the store was laid out the opposite of all other Aldis, which "flow" from left to right; this goes from right to left. The aisles did not really correspond to the uniform layout of all those other stores, and the produce aisle was truncated in an "L" shape! (Now, Publix does theirs right, but this was totally haphazard.) Being a Sunday and late in the afternoon, merchandise was thinning out as to be expected. Some things were totally meh (moldy strawberries, rotten spots on cabbages, two lettuce left); others were well stocked (croissants, breads, cheeses, etc.). Meat was nasty looking; I often think Aldi serves up human or cat/dog flesh. The floors had papers strewn here and there, and inside the warehouse area the floor straight ahead was dirty as well. I give this store 4 to 5 weeks at best to become a pigsty on par with the St. Cloud Aldi (at times). Personnel did try to be pleasant and were efficient, so that's a bonus. It's funny how you get what you wish for and then you wonder if it was worth your focus and frequent contact to make it happen. Overall, I'm happier that they're here, if only to offer Walmart and Publix (flanking them) third-wheel competition. It's a shame that Poinciana, once again, remains the "redheaded stepchild." read more
