The check out person I ended up with was very chatty. Like....very. Chatty. Which is fine, but I think she was distracting herself from talking so much. And whoever came over to help bag almost smashed my cupcakes so maybeeee might need to be a littttle more mindful there. So idk what they've put in something spritzy, but I do nooooot recommend opening the can and drinking it warm. I choked and spit it out, it was basically all bitters.

They don't have many toppings for the salad anymore. They used to have 5+ different kinds of soup- now they have 3 which are always empty no matter the time of day. The service is poor. They lack staff and the ones who do work here now, simply don't care. It's such a shame. This used to be a high end store with beautiful, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Now it's a typical lower end store with high prices. Time for a change Frankfort..

Produce is fresh and a broad selection of items some unique. Deli has nice selection of neat and cheese. Deli salads are expansive. And the holiday prepared meals I've ordered were well made tasty and good value. But today I had to pick up a custom order from that bake shop. I was having severe pain in my foot and stopped at customer service to see if someone could bring my items to the checkout area for me to avoid having to walk. The two women at customer service were so accommodating and so genuinely kind one went to get my order from the back of the store and they even offered to get me a chair while I waited. When the items were brought to the front, I paid for them at the same counter and they called the man that works there to take these items out to my car. I could not have done this without his help. The one box was the size of a full sheet cake and I was walking with. It came so caring these items even though they were in a cart would've been impossible. This kind of service is rare these days Natalie did the accommodate me, but did so in such a way that I didn't feel like I was a bother and they went above and beyond.

This is my go-to supermarket. When you go shopping at Aldi, there's a few things you have to know…read more First: make sure you bring a quarter to use a cart (don't worry, you'll get it back when you return the cart). Items will not be put in racks as neatly as in fancier supermarkets, but you'll find what you need AND this contributes to the price bring so so low. You have to try some things out and see if you like them: not everything at Aldi is as good as 'brandless' items from other supermarkets. They will not have 'everything ', for instance, they don't sell the full range of spices you would find at Trader Joe's or whole foods. There is no fresh bread, only the prepackaged kind. Variety of fruit and veggies is limited (see below for quality). I fully recommend everything organic, and there is quite a lot. Vegetarian "meats" and soy milk too! The aisle to the back, opposite the freezers, has seasonal items, such as Halloween things or German/Italian etc. try it out but don't get hooked, it will be gone in a few weeks. Likewise, non-food items such as cookware, clothing, garden items often change within a month or so, but this is my favorite aisle to score deals! Similar quality to Target, but lower prices. Why am I taking a star off, despite wonderful prices on daily needs (milk, eggs, flour, pasta, toilet paper etc) , good non-food deals and good service? The veggie and fruit section is a hit or miss: sometimes they have great fruit for low prices. Oftentimes, fruits/vegetables are sold out OR there is mold on the veggies and fruit, especially zucchini, green beans and berries. This really needs to change. This part of South Side Chicago is enough of a food desert the way it is. Stores that DO sell fresh fruits and vegetables really need to restock in time and make sure their produce is still edible.
