I visit this Aldi location on a weekly basis. Everybody here is so kind and helpful. The store is clean, uncluttered, and always has what I need. I can always find an easy parking spot that is accessible for getting my baby in and out of the car. This Aldi has great quality produce as well. I have to give a shout out to Sarah, she is usually the store clerk that checks us out each week. She always is so sweet and says hello to my baby! All of the workers here are top-quality. If you have been to one Aldi it seems like you have been to them all. There is nothing special about this Aldi except that it is not very busy the times I have been there. As usual there is only one register open at a time. They move fast but there is always a line at checkout. The prices are good as they are at all Aldi's and that is the reason people shop there. You need a quarter to get a shopping cart and no bags are supplied. Quality products and a clean store with plenty of parking. read more

I ship here a lot... But I am done. I've probably lost hundreds of dollars in bad and spoiled food in the past few months. I bought ribs from there, came home to open up the package to season them and they were spoiled. I didn't have time to return them because I was having a get together... And I'm not going to carry around a package of spoiled ribs... so I ate the cost to replace those. Again, lots of money in fruits that I have bought and again gotten home and within a day or two they are molded. When I've been there there have been lines of ants on the bread shelves.. Today I went to the store and again bought "fresh" fruits and vegetables and got home and they were molded. Save money? Shopping here made Thanksgiving that much more affordable! I was able to purchase things like cooked and pre-packaged bacon pieces, french fried onions, Brie, and other necessities at a much lower price. I do not mind bringing my my own bags and bagging my own groceries if I get to save some money! When my friend and I had a few questions the associates were very helpful about where something was located and if they carry it or not. Speaking as to whether they carry things or not, the store isn't going to have the variety that one might find a Harris Teeter. I am visiting this area and needed some groceries. After dropping a LOT of money at another local store, I found the Aldi. Whew. Now I know we can afford to eat here! This one is clean and well stocked. Since I shop Aldi regularly at home, I had no learning curve to deal with. For those of you that are new to Aldi, there ARE some things that you should know: First, you need a quarter for a cart. You'll get it back. Where I live, sometimes people will randomly leave the quarter for the next person, if you want to pass on a random act of kindness and have $.25 worth of happiness in sharing. But of course most of the time you won't, face it, lots of the time you need that dang quarter! Second, bring bags, or be prepared to pony up a dime or so for theirs (under the belt at the checkout). The plastic ones with handles are strong and reusable, so just remember to put them back in your car for the next time. You are also welcome to pick up boxes from them. There is usually a bin of empties somewhere. Third, and this is important: the cashier is not supposed to sort your stuff for you. That's what the bagging area is for, and you do it yourself to your own liking. The cashier's job is to get you through checkout as fast as possible, and the next, and the next... so don't get mad that they don't bag for you. An Aldi line goes literally 4x as fast as any normal grocery line because of this. It's a feature, not a bug. They will have a cart beside them and your stuff will end up in that one. They'll protect bread and eggs by putting them up top. Then you take that cart (with its quarter) over to the bagging area and give them yours. The person who left the one-star review clearly didn't get this, which is understandable if you've never been there before. I would hate for others to not try Aldi because of this misunderstanding. Now, other things to know. Aldi is committed to good food, but it is a European company. In Europe, no one shops for a two-week supply of produce or bakery bread. They are horrified at the thought of chemical preservatives on such things, so yes, fresh produce from Aldi WILL go bad faster. You can slow it on soft fruits and vegetables by washing them in diluted vinegar; keep onions and potatoes separated in paper bags: freeze or eat the bread! Things to try there: Cheeses, hummus, olives, coffee creamer, fresh meats, especially the weekly features, the organic chicken (expensive but you can taste the difference!), some of the house brand chips are wonderful, but some are not. Seasonal merchandise, housewares and home goods like pots and pans are often EXTREMELY good values, very high quality at below-discount store prices. They rotate rapidly so if you see something you like in the merchandise aisle, buy it soon. Last spring I got a great sturdy garden cart there for less than half what an inferior one cost at our local farm store ($30 instead of $80!) The stores are small. There are some things they don't stock. This speeds up your trip but sometimes forces you to go elsewhere. However, we generally save $30 or so on a weekly shopping for my small family when we shop Aldi instead of our other chain back home, and that's even after the impulse buys of seasonal stuff. Great prices, some national brands although most everything is off brands (which I believe is their business model). What caught me off guard is the variety of stuff they carry in addition to groceries. Definitely worth the savings to shop here. read more

This place is super clean with wide spacious lanes. The cart and bagging situation has a small learning curve if you're a first timer. Enjoyed the low costs, but the produce went bad super fast (2-3 days on everything) so we won't buy that there again; however, canned and boxed goods will be on future shopping lists. read more

Figured we would give them a try to day and was very impressed. Saved about $40 off our normal grocery bill. Store is very clean. You bag your own grocerys here do bring your own bags. But if you don't have any you can buy some here. Either the traditional paper bags. Or nicer reusable one. Will be making the change to shop here more often. read more
