If you are not used to shopping at Aldi, it can be weird at first. This store charges for bags (regardless of the store location) and it requires a 25 cents deposit to use their carts. The cashier doesn't bag your items but, places them into a new cart for you to bag yourself. The store is set up as a giant warehouse with items stored in a nonsensical manner at times. They usually only sell their branded items or very few brand-name items. However, these tactics are employed to save the company money and they pass on the savings to the customer. This store is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. We get some of the groceries here and the rest at Walmart. The produce and meats are reasonably priced and very fresh. Looks like they refreshed their produce section and always quick service inside. Today we tried the curbside pick up and after waiting ten minutes and being told someone would be coming out in five minutes with our groceries, we then received a message to go in and pick up groceries ourselves. Defeats the purpose of curbside. Also, if you want the customer to come in then I would hope the groceries are ready. What should have been a 5-10 minute experience is now 30. It is a new concept at this location so maybe they are still working out the details, but definitely not what we expected for curbside service. read more

Decided to go and I was pleasantly surprised! I've been to an Aldi before in Ireland and one in Virginia all of which were very nice. This Aldi's was no different and I must say that they have a lot of organic items inside. The store is beautifully set up with each isle marked as to what you will find. Please note that you need to make sure you at least have 25 cents on you to get a buggy. This is to keep people from leaving stray buggies in the parking lot. Once you return the buggy you get your coin back. They have a wine section however while I was there it wasn't stocked (boo! Lol). I sure it will be though being as it was the first week of opening . I can say they will have a nice selection and the prices aren't bad from what I could see. Moving along to the produce section which was very well stocked and looked good. Most anything you would want and avocados the cheapest I've seen here lately! I grabbed a few and was excited about the price ! They also have a meat department and the prices are reasonable chicken,beef ,steak etc. All sort of cheeses and also take home bake fresh pizzas pre-made that looked delicious! Dairy section yogurts, milk ,eggs and more. Their frozen food section was great as well. You'll find plenty of good deals and I must repeat organic items here for example spices! I got garlic and cumin for $1.89 and the same brand at food lion, Walmart etc is nearly $4! Lastly don't forget to bring your own recycle bags of you have them. This will save you even more money because otherwise you'll pay for bags . Now you have an option to place your items in boxes they have there from where they stock the shelves . Uh, a 25¢ coin to use a buggy? NOPE! The proprietors must be based in some third world country. Look, I mean no disrespect to origin nor ethnicity. It's just poor business practices to burden everyone for the lack of store/cart security and the foresight to have enough eyes and cameras watching. And just for the record, if someone takes a cart and then turns it in for bounty (who knew that was even a thing), they get more than a quarter. Tiny little Market. The checkers were great, friendly. The only down side I would say is that there didnt seem to be enough sales people on the floor. This store had very fair prices on household items, vegetables, fruits and meats. I would shop here again. read more

What the fuck do people like about this store? It's like shopping in an unorganized warehouse with rude employees and shoppers who have no concept of personal space. I didn't realize they cashiers didn't take the time to put your items in your bags so As I'm frantically trying to put it all away she's tossing items in the cart and sporadically picking which ones she throws in the bag as I'm packing it up. There's no organization, I found the cheese section and picked from the slim selection only to realize there's another section straight across the store. I don't care if avocados are 69cents I'll pay $1.50 to never have to go back! read more

Is not even arguably the lowest priced grocery store in town. It is absolutely the lowest priced place in town with a vast array of sales and discounted foods. Add in the lawn and garden supplies this is THE place to shop for family food stuffs. read more

Okay so if you're from Midwest City Oklahoma the Aldi there is about as small as a convenience store. That's not the case here!! This Aldi is a good size aaaand it sells alcohol. Wanna get drunk on 2 dollar wines? This is the place to go! Of course you need your quarter for your cart and your own bag to bag your stuff but that goes for all Aldis you have to go to. Although I am not please with customer service I do feel the employees aren't friendly and the rush you when you check out and aren't helpful at all . My husband and I stopped in yesterday to check it out. From the start I was very disappointed. There wasn't a huge selection of items. Lines were long and moving slowly. Most of the fruit had already started going bad. I looked around trying to give it a chance. Yes, it's not expensive which was nice. But I will never go back. I bought some potatoes and when I went home I started cooking. I peeled them and as I started cutting them open, the inside was moldy. There were NO signs of them being bad. I was disgusted and threw it all away. I used some of my older potatoes that were perfectly fine still. I understand that stuff happens, but even the chicken I bought felt weird. Aldi is pretty amazing. While it doesn't completely replace my need to go other places at times for certain things, my majority of grocery shopping is done at Aldi. For the person who left the review about the potato, that is NOT mold or rot. It's called Hallow Heart and has to do with it's growth rate being slowed and increased. Carefully check the produce, especially berries. I've gotten moldy packs on accident before by overlooking. Same with bags of oranges. Very cheap wine, beer, and cider. Not bad. Some of the home decor stuff is pretty cute, I really like wax melts! Got a couple of neat rag rugs for my kitchen for super cheap. read more

Pay an extra couple of bucks and be treated with respect at Publix. This is not a place to shop with young children! This was my first Aldi experience and everything was fine until I went to checkout. First, the cashier scanned the items and THREW them into a different shopping cart than the one I was using. Was this woman having a bad day? Was she forced to eat peas as a child so now despises vegetables? Does she hate life? I was equally amused and confused as to why she was scanning and throwing my groceries as fast as possible. Before I knew what to say, my groceries were piled in a different shopping cart with my reusable bags on top. The messed up thing is, I had a toddler sitting up in the shopping cart I was pushing and an infant in a carseat inside the basket. Did this cashier expect me to push 2 shopping carts by myself? The strangest thing is that there was no one in line behind me. I realize now (I didn't know it at the time because it was my first time shopping at Aldi) that the customer bags their own groceries. That said, I think common decency dictates that not making it more difficult for a person shopping with two babies would be the least a store employee could do. I know they don't bag your stuff, but if you're the only person in line and you have 2 kids in a cart, why not place my food in the cloth bags I took rather than throwing them in a separate cart? I only had about 8 items and they all fit in 2 bags. It came across either as an extremely lazy cashier or piss poor customer service. Either way, I'd rather spend an extra $2 and be treated decently at Publix - it's right down the street. read more

We love Aldi !!! Shopped there all the time when we lived in St Louis. Dont forget your quarter for your buggy. We jokingly refer to Aldi as my autistic sons first job. He used make a couple of dollars when it rained returning carts for people. Once inside, your dollar goes a lot further than other places. Really impressed with the quality and name brand stuff they have now. Just wish there was one closer to me. Being out toward Hubert, we dont get out that way very often. Aldis isn't like every other grocery store its totally different. I had went to other Aldi locations in different states. This one was the cleanest but then again its a brand spanking new store. I went about 2 weeks after the grand opening. Of course it was packed and they handled the whole hussle and bussle pretty well. The only thing that sucks about Aldis and its a company thing, is just how small Aldis is. When its jammed packed it can be a pain manuerving around. They definitely have great sales. The only thing that I had gotten alittle annoyed with was when i went i had my sons car seat in the cart (hes a newborn) and the cashier had me move the car seat out of the cart into another one. Which normally id be like fine but i was holding him and he was being superfussy! And i was by myself. I get the whole layout of the store and i completely understand why she told me and the whole set up but that can be a pain for a moms that have infant children that have to go shopping by themselves. If you have to go shopping here with kids i suggest avoid busy hours or bring a helping hand. Other than that I was pretty pleased with the store! read more
