Dumped my groceries everywhere. Didn't bother helping me clean it while I have my baby with me. Didn't apologize, just said he could replace the raspberries. I put my groceries in my bag on the conveyor belt and instead of taking the time to scan them in the bag just threw them out everywhere. I now have raspberry all over my hands, my car, and my bag & groceries. Don't bother coming here. What a waste of time. I'm usually such a positive person, I really try to be, but this was just lazy and disrespectful. I like aldis food, their price is good, but service at this specific location is so low. I've run into ALDI for a couple of bottles of 'two buck chuck,' before. They have a very small vino selection, and what I got was not undrinkable by any means, and yes, it was super cheap. Like $4.00 for a 750 ml. This particular parking lot seems teeming with zombie-like people who have no situational awareness - just dragging their feet and not paying attention to any vehicle that is trying to park for heaven's sake! And, when you are trying to pull in off Hobbs Rd., right at the Parkway intersection, you're pretty much stopping a crap ton of traffic to avoid hitting said zombies. Are they that numbed by the savings?!?!?!?! This aspect of this ALDI is maddening! The very few times I went to this ALDI it was clean and semi-organized. With a vast array of items (think bathroom towel racks near spices near nuts near light bulbs). The reason it would never be my "go to" grocery store is the stock is wildly inconsistent. With my limited shopping time, I can't justify getting a few items (cheap, yes - which is great) at ALDI and then making a separate trip to another grocery story to complete my family's grocery shopping. I'm happy that this store is great for so many, it's just not my "go to" or one I seek out. read more

LOVE IT! I really enjoy Aldi and I love the fact that no matter where I shop from Ohio to Florida, I can find an Aldi. I recently visited this location to replenish my stash and noticed that it is not completely stocked at this time and some things are out of order. This is because the store is currently in the process of being remodeled. The entire rear wall has been stripped down to the concrete surface and many of their freezer units are off to the side to prepare for the remodel. This means that once the items are purchased from these containers, they will probably not be replaced until the units are moved back to their permanent location so be aware of these prior to visiting. They still have plenty of other shelved items, produce, dairy and meat. Customer service was efficient as usual and we were able to process quickly through the line. Last night I tried their Elevation coconut and almond snack bars for the first time and they are delicious. You should try them if you like a delicious, low-fat, low sugar gluten free snack. read more

I recently started shopping at Aldi weekly for my groceries at the one on the Parkway next to Drake Avenue. I purchased two of the solar rocks about a month ago and they were not bright, so I decided to return them on June 9th. I arrived to the store and immediately went to return the rocks to take care of business before grocery shopping. The next Monday I noticed that the return was showing, the purchase I made for $143 worth of groceries and middle aisle items was showing, and a third mystery charge for $72.50 was also showing. I have since been getting the run around with corporate about getting this resolved and this employee reprimanded. It is very surprising that such a large company can have such a blaring internal control issue and be totally unaware of it. The customer service reps have continuously made me feel like the don't believe me and think I have Alzheimers or something. I am 34 with a masters degree in Accounting. I know what I purchased that day. I cannot wait for them to roll the tapes back and call me back with their tails tucked between their legs. Danesha needs to be fired. I am not totally sure what happened, but I think she knew the person behind me or something and kept my return open to pay for her $72.50 worth of groceries. I am not sure if this is what happened exactly, but I do not think Danesha still has any access to my card, but was able to push through a fraudulent transaction. I am sure she will claim user error, but she needs to have the manager stand beside her for the full refund ever time in the future. The manager comes up and does what they need to for a refund and then just leave. What is the point in that if al they do is come up, do their manager approval thing, and then immediately turn around and leave? The manager on duty that day who Danesha called over to do his part was a young guy name Noah. See? No Alzheimers here going on here :) I remember the details and will no longer be shopping here until I receive my refund and the internal controls are tightened up. read more

I love this grocery store! It has allowed me to feed a family on a budget without stress. You have to bag your own groceries with your own bags, put a quarter in to get a buggy, deal with only having one lane open but you save 50% on groceries! Nothing is the name brand that you see in big chain grocery stores but everything is delicious. If you are living on a budget, you need to shop at Aldi. It might be a little extra work on your part, but it's so worth it when you walk out of the store with a full to the top buggy for 80 dollars. It's a great company and they are doing a good thing for people. I hope to always have an Aldi close by wherever I end up in life! Shop smart, shop Aldi. read more

I just visited the South Parkway Aldi's specifically to purchase some over the door baskets on sale. They were rung up at regular price and I told the clerk (Brittany) they were on sale for $4.55. This obviously irritated her greatly. She called the manager and in the meantime refunded and charged on my receipt 13 times. She ended up over charging me $7.99. She never spoke, never said thank you and acted like a "B". I will not be buying anything at this store in the future. I would have to make a trip back to the store and deal with her again so I will just forget it. And forget Aldi's. read more

A friend of mine bought diapers and wipes for our newest addition to the family, and I'm so happy with the little journey brand!!! They diapers are cute and soft. I have a heavy wetter baby and these diapers hold up to his constant peeing. The wipes are thick and clean up his poops wonderfully. I believe it took about 3-4 wipes to clean up the mess in total. They are wonderful and definitely what I'm buying when we run out!! read more

I had moved to Huntsville just a few days before and heard about their GRAND OPENING EVENT! Aldi's is a specialty store that has organic produce, where you save a lot of money. You do have to bag your own groceries but I like the idea of encouraging you to use reusable bags you and using the clever approach of training you to return your shopping cart to the the proper location by requiring you to put a quarter in a slot that you get back when you do so. So before the break of Dawn my husband and I got down there to be sixth & seventh in line because I heard the first arrivals would get something special. To my dismay I was bumped to number 8 because there were people there before me but they opted to wait in their car and have friends hold their place before me. Then we got bumped again because "HEY NO FAIR" ... People were holding places for their late arriving family members which bumped us to number 11 & 12. How can you call out an 80 + old and a pregnant lady. Finally after a 2-1/2 hour wait they had their ceremony and cut the ribbon. As I guessed, the bump cost me and hubby a $100 gift card each that only the 1st 10 persons received- but we got a $25 consolation prize which I can't complain about because no one has ever given me that much toward groceries lol. The prizes were slashed big for the event like 68 cents for a dozen eggs - but we were promised great prices to come on weekly specials. We left with reusable bags filled with over $140 value of groceries that was 1/2 price of what I would have paid anywhere else. I will miss my west coast Trader Joes but for now Aldi's will be a great place to shop read more

Aldi is one of those places that you have to get a system for what your will not buy there. But overall you can not go wrong there. Their weekly specials are usually really good. I have had several of their appliances for several years. read more

Great store, great savings, very good staff. I like not having shopping carts rolling around in the parking lot, funny what people will do for a quarter. I really like to give my cart away when I'm done with it and watch people rush to give you a quarter. i say "keep it, I saved a lot more than that." read more
