I was looking for a caterer for our 40th Anniversary. Lead time was shorter than normal - about 6 weeks. I filled out the form on their website. Never received a reply. After a week I called the number. I spoke with the wife, we had a lovely chat. I was really encouraged. She said she would get me details by the next day since her work laptop was 'at the kitchen' and she was at home. Never asked for my email address. I waited another week and then crossed her off my list. Don't know if this was abnormal for this business. I know I won't waste time trying again. read more

Chupper Time catered my anniversary party. They were wonderful! The employees were supper attentive to our guests needs. They handed out appetizers & dessert to the guests & dinner was served buffet style. The food was delicious. Casey & Brandon both were so nice & accommodating. Casey coordinated the plates, silverware, & cups to my party colors. And had 3 different beverages available to choose from. The employees also took care of food spills quickly. My guests were very impressed with how hard working CTC was. My nephew has food allergies & they made appetizers & an entree just for him. Catered my daughters wedding at HSV Botanical Gardens. Service was excellent, food was even better. Minus one star because the chef was a little late. He cooks entree on site, not precooked, so guests had to wait a little for hot off the grill perfection. Not a single complaint about anything else. read more

Where do I even begin! Not only are Brandon and Casey some of the nicest people I've ever met, but Brandon is the real deal. He is professionally trained, but his understanding of food goes beyond what can be taught in a classroom, it is instinctual. They were a hidden gem that I found while planning my wedding, and I am so happy that I discovered them. If you are planning an event and need catering, check them out and you won't be disappointed. Very unprofessional. I emailed a multitude of catering companies for my wedding and this one was by far the worst. For starters they estimated me at 8-16k for a 75 person wedding, which is practically laughable. Once I told them where the venue was located at I was told it would be a "logical nightmare" to make that happen. FYI it's Guntersville Alabama so not sure how that is a nightmare but I'm sure a business owner could find a better way to word that not to mention that travel cost etc is payed for so doesn't make a whole lot of sense. There pricing did not match up. I was told it was $50 a person, 50X75= 3,750. So to state that it would range from 8-16k doesn't really add up... Over all it wasn't the prices that were unprofessional it was their language and the demeanor they spoke to me in. Being a business owner isn't just about having good food it's about the standard of which you choose to treat your client. And I'll never be a client of there's. read more

HORRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE!!! HAIR IN MY SALAD! SUPER SMALL PORTIONS! They are NOT "farm to table" they are instead " FREEZER TO TABLE". Every last table's food was COLD. They promise big when they meet with us but then serve a plain spinach salad with HAIR in it. The chicken that one of the people at my table had a half inch of fat on it with random bones sticking out. The filet was horrible, rare and we had requested medium well. The sides were unimpressive, a smear (not an appropriate side serving portion) of mashpotatoes and a handful of carrots when we had negotiated mixed vegetables and an actual mash potatoes serving. The people that had chosen the chicken option should have gotten brussel sprouts instead they got two halves of COLD from frozen brussel sprouts. The bread was frozen and half heated when it was brought to our table. The dessert was absolutely insulting for the amount of money we paid and they took the liberty to change it from chocolate cake to a random 2 inch circle cut out of bread pudding that couldn't even feed a toddler. The service was a disgrace. The first table was served 55 minutes BEFORE the last table and everyone's food was COLD. I checked with a couple of people from last night and every last one of them had food poisoning. Worst experience I have ever been apart of. The people at the homeless shelter get fed better than our group was. They completely ruined out experience. RUN!!!! read more
