My history with Meijer goes back well over 30 years, having grown up in Michigan. Before Walmart…read morehad 24 hour stores, there was Meijer, who opened 24 hours long before Walmart ever started. And then I worked for Create-A-Card (if you remember them), which had personalized card printing in, literally, every single Meijer location. At the time I worked for Create-A-Card there were less than 50 stores. Meijer and I go a LONG way back. So as far as big-box, full-retail stores go, it's always my go-to. Groceries? Check Sweat pants? Check Aquarium filters? Check Windshield solvent? Check Sharpies? Check ..and the list goes on. The staff at Meijer is usually very helpful (if a bit hard to find), and there's never a team member sitting around doing nothing. People who work at Meijer usually have a great work ethic and I don't know that I've ever felt like I was bothering anyone when I would ask them where I could find self-sealing stem bolts. Likewise the store is usually pretty clean. Not like Walmart, where it usually feels like you're walking into a friend's house, but that friend has 4 or 6 kids under the age of 7 and none of them cleans up after themselves or puts their toys away. They often tend to keep the produce area pretty tidy, which is is a challenge because produce needs to be neat and tidy. Who wants to buy ugly produce? There are numerous big-box general merchandise stores, and when I need something -- anything -- Meijer is where I'm headed.

I normally go to the Meijer in Lima, OH but found myself in Fort Wayne one day and needed to get…read moregroceries done before I go home to Van Wert. I decided to do my shopping here. This is a great Meijer. There is a Starbucks inside as well as a Auntie Annes, which my Lima store does not have. They have a large garden area and sell items I certainly do not see in my Lima store including items like veal and bison. The store is large and well stocked. It is also easy to find the items you need. I think this is a great Meijer and I do not understand the negative reviews.

Love the new location and the employees at this Smoothie King…read more The store is so clean, the service is top notch. Heaven has waited on me the last few times I've been in and she's always working hard and very kind! The store also has a drive up window which is super convenient and quick! I typically place the order in the app when I'm at the light off if I-69, and by the time I arrive, the smoothie is waiting for me!

I arrived at Giordano's for a late lunch and noticed this Smoothie King was in walking distance…read morehere in NE Fort Wayne, Indiana. Sure why not? I said. I haven't had a smoothie for a while at this juncture of 2024. All I have back home is Jamba Juice. So, it was a nice surprise that a Smoothie King was basically walking distance from Giordano's and Meijer's. With that said, I basically saw this smoothie king location just before we headed into having a lunch at Giordano's, and after eating, I decided to punch in a mobile order at smoothie King before heading to Meijer's to do some shopping with a friend. With that said, I ordered online thru Smoothie King's website and it was quick to navigate and pay. It took about 15 minutes from start to pick up. I basically purchased a large and the cost was around $7 ish, which was nice and not really overpriced for the size. They have pretty open menu but have popular flavors to their smoothies prominently on their website. I decided to choose a spinach and pineapple (?) smoothie. It balances the unhealthy I had with Giordano's with something healthy with the ample supply of healthy nutrients that can be supplemented for someone on the go. After my friend and I exited Giordano's, we drove to the entrance to Smoothie King and I hopped out and entered the store. The entire experience took about five minutes. I told the counter staff that I had a mobile order and it took a quick minute before they gave my order to the person in the drive-through. Quick, thinking they rectified the situation and handed me my order and I was good to go. it happened that way, but it is what it is. The overall experience here at smoothie King, Fort Wayne, Indiana was decidedly mixed. I think that it was either high school or cottage age kids that was staffing the smoothie counter that day so it was a little Confusing to get the orders in check, I guess. Still didn't wait too long for my cold smoothie to go on my mini vacation to NE Indiana. The restaurant itself was like a small fast food joint, so there was a place to sit down and enjoy the smoothie. But not for me, I was just grab and go since I had places to go and things needed to be checked on. The smoothie was cool and delicious. Definitely a great place to be when you're craving for something sweet and delicious while not having to resort to traditional milkshakes and other fine chocolate and what not for your sweet fix for the day. Most part though, it is just a smoothie. Nothing more nothing less, but however, apparently this is one of the biggest chains around, that I know of that serves smoothies, among other things en mass quantities. they are the king, royalty if you will have smoothies and how to make them I'm pretty sure you can make anything and everything and they could make it if it's within their power to do so they have it in stock. Definitely a hidden gem if you love smoothies or trying to start health or fitness kick in your life or just something to sip on when you need the extra energy heat through the day. This smoothie king is located in Northeast Fort Wayne, Indiana. They are physically located at 10074 Diebold Road, next to the Giordano's Pizza restaurant and the Meijer's supermarket. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. You can order online thru their website. Not sure if they have an online app, but maybe they do. As far as parking goes, there's plenty of ample parking in front of Smoothie King and as well as near by Meijer's as well. Best bet would be to come here early enough to order it online and grab a parking as soon as you can get here for a better experience. It was nice having to order the smoothie online and not have to fuss around waiting for the order to be processed when u can't be doing other things while is being made. Not sure if there is public transportation in the Fort Wayne, and the surrounding area, but assure that you can search online to see if there is one that the city of Fort Wayne is able to provide and is existing today. of course, you can also use Uber or a Lyft to get you here to grab your awesome smoothie and sure that would be happy to get you here to grab the aforementioned smoothie. My experience here was swift and pretty good, although the small slight mixup costing me maybe couple minutes before the error was realized and I got my smoothie pretty quickly after that. So make sure your name on the order is accurate so they can distribute your order correctly. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 3.5 stars for the service and prices. 5.0 stars for the location.
