If you see any White House Aides inside this store, it's just Aldi President's Men. According to Garland, if Hawkeye from M*A*S*H* owned this place it be called, 'Alda's. I shopped here for the first time about 6 months ago, and I haven't looked back since. Actually I've only been in 3 or 4 times but it's probably my new fave store to shop in, in the suburbs anyway. The fruit is priced ridiculously. Blueberries for $1.29? Are you serious? I just picked some up the other day. I wasn't crazy about the cat food though. I mean not that I ate it. But it was a little more expensive than it should be, considering it's Aldi. Aldi is a European grocery store, and is all about low price and convenience, it's the very definition of "no frills." You will think you are on another planet if you are used to Wegmans and the like. Nevertheless it is the most economical and logical shopping experience, without all of the glitz and glamour and fancy stuff, and prices that go along with that. For this reason Aldi will always score highly on my Richter Scale, because it's what I think grocery stores should be, but since we're all a superficial and fancy bunch (myself included), we'll all keep shopping and Wegmans, and clever stores like Aldi will always be more popular in Europe. Oh, and according to Garland: if Hawkeye from M*A*S*H* owned this place it be called, 'Alda's'"

One of the three Aldi I frequent. With prices constantly increasing it's nice to get some deals. There are just a few items I have purchased that I wasn't happy with so I continue to shop here.

My favorite Aldis and the workers here are always friendly and helpful. I drive past 2 other Aldis just to shop at this one.

I know we all joke about how eating unhealthy stuff is cheaper and makes us happy. But hands up if your body feels worse after the fact. Now take those hands and use one of them to tug open the door to Boulevard Produce. Post washing, of course. Keeping it sanitary. They're also keeping six feet apart and requiring all visitors to wear a mask. Now, don't fret if you forgot yours. Just pull your shirt over your face and quickly buy one of their fabric masks for sale at the entrance. Sometimes there will be disposable gloves at the entrance as well, but I didn't notice any today. Be sure to wash what you buy, as not everything comes in plastic and people don't always buy what their germs touch. Pro-tip, bring something, or someone, to carry all your goodies with you as you shop. Much like the farmers market there aren't baskets or buggies to tote your things around. I've been offered a box before by a nice chap that works there, but on the chance it's his day off, best not to risk dropping your mound of goods. I'll be honest. I tend to breeze past a good bit of the first wall when I enter the cooler, as I am a wuss when I comes to trying new veggies like swiss chard and parsnips. But then you turn around and there is what I think of as Hector's Heaven, with cheap varieties of lettuce and carrots that'll please my bunny until he's fat. It's over half off the price that's across the street at Tops. They've got fruits for me, as I am a fruit fanatic, and carts of dairy too. This week there were massive bins of 50 cent per pound apples that I dug into. In the other room there was also a sale on taters where there had previously been bell peppers. They'd been 3 for a dollar before, and fueled my bunny's addiction. Thankfully they're still priced pretty low, as my spoiled boy and I want to eat like royalty. Really healthy royalty. They've got other goodies too, like honey and maple syrup. There is only so much room in my backpack and I have to practice self restraint as I lay my findings on the counter. I'm left with change to spare and skedaddle before I can convince myself to just carry more in my hands. Because when it comes down to it, produce does rot. Besides, they're open six days a week, so I can stop back for more. Hector gives this place 5 paws up. (Well, four paws and one of my hands, but he tried.)

With many varieties of annuals and perennials you can't lose because the prices are so attractive and difficult to pass up. During the summer months, enjoy fun of shopping for beautiful produce, locally grown, fresh and still have real dirt on them. You'll find everything that is in season at the moment, plus a unique assortment of plums or beans for example. It was great to see elderberries for sale, recently, but I thought it was little bit pricey. Then I regretted not buying them. I will next time if still available. Tart cherries from a Polish farmer's truck are always a treat along with many kind of plums and apples he offers. Sweet corn from the Amish stand was delicious! You don't have to put anything on it to enjoy the corn. Every bite was like eating cake, so sweet and satisfying, but if you feel like have a real dessert, have a pie. They have different kind of pies for you with seasonal fruits. The tomatoes were sweet and meaty and the melon is juicy and ripe to perfection. Beans are crispy and extremely flavorful and peppers with a strong, wonderful smell makes you'll eat it raw like an apple. Everything looks great at this market. Besides vegetables and fruits livestock is also available. If you want a live chicken come and get it. There are eggs too of course. What's not to love about fresh farmer's eggs? Shopping for food is only half of the enjoyment. Second is a Flea Market with all kind of treasures. You never know what you can find there. I have to mention, my review is based on shopping on weekend, especially Saturday. I'm not sure how busy is this place at the rest of the week, but Saturday is the time to go. Be sure you don't oversleep and get up and go rather early. All goodies go fast and you don't want to miss the best.

So did it online, Anyway order confirmed, date time etc. Show up to pick up and no record of my order. The counter help was apologetic and offered to make it (but 24 notice is required?) I accepted and waited the 45 or so minutes for it to be ready as plans were already made. I took the 45 minutes to reach out to management to let them know that there is some sort of problem with their online ordering system since my order never appeared to be made. They were very apologetic once again and told me that my order was actually there but it was in a spot where nobody saw it so they didn't make it. They did comp the order. Which would have been great had it been delicious sadly it was not. All this to say I would rethink catering options if you are ever thinking of getting something for a party I would definitely double and triple check that the order was actually there if you did decide to go with them.
