I called a couple of times to ask when the crew would get scheduled. I was always told that they aren't sure when the crew would actually come out to do the work. Understandable, they're busy. But a month or so later, with zero warning, the crew came out to do the job. Why not notify me? They proceeded to compelte only half the job and left the outside of the house littered with rusted nails and trim for several weeks. For what little they did install, it was not all installed correctly. I call them they need to fix certain parts of the installation. I asked if they could put a weather barrier up given the monsoons were coming. No response. Several weeks later, I finally get someone back out after calling and calling. They came to finish the job, but same issue - the trim wasn't installed correctly. Not only this, but one of the crew members broke my window. They said they would replace it for free. I spoke with Briggett and she re-assured me that they would resolve it. I let them come by, and they finish the job with the superintendent. I must say, this has been such a ridiculous effort. It took a total of about 4 months end to end to get a few pieces of wood correctly installed. Given everything that happened, I truly believe a discount should have been applied but they did not. I did not want to have to write this review, but I truly don't recommend this company. It was nothing but pain.

Home Depot supplied materials & subcontracted Darrel Petersen of Top That Roofing, in Snowflake, to…read moredo the actual roof job.Darrell, the foreman and boss, w/his professional workers, installed GAF shingles.I checked online at the GAF shingle website which shows the roof layering and install process, to be sure they included everything and they did a wonderful job. Darrel said uneven shingles are his pet peeve LOL!, and they were all lined up perfectly. Darrell also worked well with my outside contractor, who was installing a stove vent and needed to put holes through the roof before the shingles were laid. I requested the roof low profile roof vents be sprayed a blending color and the workmen sprayed ALL the vents on top of the roof. They picked up everything and used the magnet roller. Darrel is a business type guy who never hesitated to answer my questions. Home Depot gave me a good deal on my roof and chose this great contractor to do work that was backed by a 25 year workmanship warranty by Home Depot. If you choose to go through a project organizer like Home Depot (HD), a couple of caveats. HD will be on a mission to get a contractor, get materials at a bulk rate and go through their routine. That's fine. Keep in mind.... -Will Home Depot be around long enough to back the workmanship warranty? -Ask what contractor will be used before signing. -Ask for a quick quote for the best job possible then work backwards towards your budget. -Ask for brands and descriptions of skylights, shingles etc. -Take notes during the sales presentation -Go through EVERY point on your list, and FIND it on the estimate sheet and later, the contract. -Check the project progress website often/Don't hesitate to call -Be there during the roofing and take pictures. THAT'S your inspection. Not at the end. You can't see underneath the shingles at the end. -If you have an independent contractor that has to coordinate with the HD roofers, check for yourself that everything is coordinated.

You are licensed and bonded, you were punctual in person, phone and via written communication. You were honest, professional and gave us a fair bid. Your workers were friendly, hard-working and meticulous with all aspects of the job including cleanup. Living in the White Mountains of Arizona, with the various weather elements lead us to select GAF roofing products, which provides a limited lifetime warranty and is transferable if you sell your home. Norman Fuller, is a GAF factory certified contractor and has several years of experience installing the GAF product which is evident by his knowledge of the product and the quality of his teams craftsmanship. My husband and I also wanted to thank the roofing material supplier that Norm works with, ABC Supply Company. They were also professional, friendly conscientious and hard-working when delivering and loading materials onto our roof. Thank you Norm, for a job well done. Ed and I definitely recommend Norman Fuller, owner of Quality 1st Roofing, Inc. to anyone looking for a reliable roofing company.
